I am shopping at Kalamala for a long time. They have the best selection of many delicious products and other kitchen options. Their customer service is excellent.

I have recently ordered a rare fruit for Floridians, which is Quince. One single fruit was one pound. It was so big and so healthy with an amazing vibrant golden color that I haven't seen. The test was even better.
My mom used to slice the fruit and fry in sunflower oil and set aside, just like we fry plantain. Then, in the same container, added sugar and water and all the fried quince. We served with fresh focaccia. It was so delicious.
I also ordered fresh Okra. My parents used to roast Okra.
Before roasting, they prepared a huge bowl with fresh smashed garlic, salt, and 300 ml of water. When the Okra was roasted, it was immediately placed inside the bowl. I remember the sound of hot okra in contact with minced garlic in water - something like Sfrrrrrr
Then, we deepened homemade focaccia in that garlic water and enjoyed the delicious seeds of roasted okra.

Wow! I'll echo the many 5-star reviews for Kalamala Online Grocery! I just received my first order here in Southern Ohio where it's difficult to find vegetarian options. Like others have written, my groceries arrived quickly and professionally wrapped and packed. Flat rate shipping is a tremendous value and choices are outstanding. Received a personal message regarding my order to be sure everything went well. Kalamala is a resource to be ordered from regularly now that I've discovered it. Thank you to all the folks there. I will not buy online Middle Eastern groceries from anywhere else. Everything was packaged exceptionally well, nothing was damaged and the shipping speed was extremely fast. I bought a lot of things that are difficult to get here in Washington State. I am happy to say that this company took great care of me! don’t forget to leave your phone number in case there are issues or if you need to make product changes. The store did have to contact me for a fruit snack I ordered (a fruit roll up essentially). I was blown away that they contacted me and gave me choices on something so seemingly insignificant to anyone else but me. Exceptional!
FYI- I made my order on 18January2024 and it arrived 21January2024

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Kalamala. The customer service is top notch, the quality of the products unbeatable and the shipping is very fast. I received my package a few days after ordering and enjoyed Lavashak (which has gone viral lately, so ofc I had to try10/10) and other Persian snacks with friends. I also highly recommend the pistachio nougat. The texture is lovely and it has a great flavor!

I ordered Palestinian medjool dates and simply wasn’t thinking about what’s happening over there 😢. So I contacted Kalamala by email and received a prompt response that ‘yes, they’re not currently available but was offered a comparable box of medjool dates from California. They arrived right away. They are lovely. For help friendliness and great product I feel great giving 5 stars.
