Good advice and assistence
We bought a Panasonic FZ200 (compact camera with ultrazoom). We were given good advice and were allowed to test the camera in the store. The shop assistent was very kind and helpful and advised us about different accessories we were interested in.

Good camera from a good Webshop
I have the unpleasant surprise to find that the product I look at Sunday... Monday to be more expensive... The promotion of Sony A7IV was over. I contact Kamera Express by whatsapp to ask if there are any possibility to have the camera for the previous day price.. They respond verry fast... was not possible... I understand... Life is life.
Even so... I decide to order the camera from them...because I have a good experience with them over some years now.
I make the order... i pay... (I take it with BTW nummers, so they deduct automaticaly the BTW from the price) the next day I receive the camera in Belgium. Verry fast expedition.
The camera... is the second one this model...so I know what I order... no surprise for me... I order a verry good camera from a verry good Webshop services.

I bought a Sony A7 IV with a 28-70 lens and am very pleased with the purchase and service. Everything was processed very quickly. So they gave me time to check the camera and the lens.
I have been using the camera for less than a month, and I think it was a good choice of camera and store.

Upgraded my Canon telelens
Traded in my Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM and bought the RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM. Kamera Express provided the best offer for my trade-in lens and I get 3 years of additional warranty (on top of the 2 years provided by Canon). Very happy with my new zoo/wildlife/airshow lens!

I had a terrible experience with this rental store. The staff was unprofessional and the equipment was in poor condition. When I returned the equipment, I was accused of damaging it, even though I had taken great care with it. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and they didn't seem to care about resolving the issue. I would not recommend this store to anyone and would advise others to look for a more reliable and professional rental company.
Simply the worst audiovisual equipment rental shop in over 15 years that I have rented equipment, they simply ripped me off on equipment that accused me of having damaged it.
They do not hesitate to sue and whether you are wrong or right they will win, they lied shamefully in court on several points, they told me they send the material in Sony in London but they give me a facture of repair from Amsterdam.
They are used to scamming people very easily in this business of scamers anyway. Whrite me an mp if you want to know more about their way to act.

Deceitful advertising and dysfunctional customer service
Update March 25:
I have finally received a refund of exactly €200, ie the cashback service which I was owned. Not a single Euro extra for the hours of troubles and grief I had because of their fault.
According to customer service, I received the refund
"because of the problems you experienced with Sony".
I really dislike this attitude of not accepting responsibility. I had a problem with Kamera Express (not Sony!) because of a false price listing on one of their shopping websites. The internal reason may or may not be due to Sony but these quarrels should not be forced onto the customer.
Update March 13:
I have received a request to move this review to photospecialist.ie but I disagree because according to my invoice and also to written correspondence with Sony the reseller is Kamera Express. I have also received some customer "care" email where the sender identified as "we at Photospecialist / Kamera Express" so I have either dealt with one joint company or with both.

This company has various offshoots, one of which trading under photospecialist.ie. I ordered a Sony A7C body from there. The item was clearly marketed as covered by the Sony Winter Cashback scheme worth €200 and that was exactly the reason why I bought from there.
When I tried to claim the cashback I was told (by Sony) that my purchase passed their verification procedure but that the outfit I bought it from is not a participating retailer in this scheme.
I raised this with Kamera Express / Photospecialist and have since received a number of mutually inconsistent replies which make me believe that this company either has a broken CMR system (issue tracker) or uses untrained customer service agents.
First, they claimed that my cashback claim "did not go through smoothly" for some reason. Then they falsely claimed I had ordered from a UK store.
I am not sure what their current position is but I am determined to fight for a refund of at least €200 since I am obviously entitled to purchase the products and services as they are offered on the web store.

The most popular camera store company in The Netherlands and that has good reasons. Besides a webstore there are 13 physical stores spread over The Netherlands which are well supplied and with professional and friendly personnel.
