We had a great trip. The guides and support staff were great. We enjoyed the food and the tents and rented equipment were fine. There were also many small, but very nice, touches by the staff that made for a great experience. Well done, Kandoo.

Paying attention to details and being fun while keeping the group safe and informed. We had a great 8 day hike on Kilimanjaro. Raymond, cook, porters and Asst Leaders were all very thoughtful and helpful.

So glad I went with Kandoo!! The whole team has been amazing from the start - knowledgable, professional, friendly, helpful and kind. They went over and beyond what was expected in every way. I broke my leg coming down the mountain and they were with me every step of the way. I could not be more grateful 😃 My hearth felt thanks to Manuel for providing crutches and paying a hospital bill when they wouldn’t accept credit card. To lovely guides, Raymond, Kevin and Happy God for waiting long hours with me on the mountain and hospital. And of course to exceptional strong, friendly and helpful porters for carrying me down the mountain, Adi the ‘superman’ and all his colleagues. You are all brilliant!! I could not have chosen better company!

There were no unforeseen events, the organization was meticulous and the level of the guides was just incredible. Special mention to Raymond! Our guide to the summit of Kilimanjaro and also Jocia, who was an incredible guide on our safari.

The guide and Sherpas were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The guide had exceptional knowledge about the local area covering our route and indeed the whole region. Nothing was too much trouble and always made sure we had everything required for a fantastic trek. Would definitely recommend Kandoo tours for any expedition and looking forward to our next adventure with them in Morocco next year.

Amazing trip to Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp! Was dubious at first as Kandoo were a lot cheaper than some of the bigger companies, but the whole service from start to finish was fantastic. We had a small group which was perfect and our guides were really knowledgeable and friendly. I struggled at certain parts of the trek but they kept me motivated and I felt reassured that they were observing my health closely. Highly recommend the trek and Kandoo!

My trip tp Everest Base Camp with Kandoo was fantastic! This was my second trek with Kandoo, and was another total success because of Kandoo's expertise, careful planning, and excellent staff. Accommodations and transfers were first-rate. The local staff, Pimba and especially Kumar, facilitated everything we needed in Kathmandu. Our trail guides Chhesang and Sangbu(sp?) were excellent! They were very personable and exceptionally well qualified, and kept us safe and well-cared for, despite local challenges! In particular, they provided fascinating insight into many facets of Khumbu life. They knew how to negotiate the challenges of local transportation, and offered flexibility based on preferences and physical ability. Ditto the above for my Chitwan add-on trip! Nepal is an awesome destination!! Kudos to Kandoo!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish. The Kandoo Guide team (August and co) were outstanding and so were the Porters.
100% recommend this trip, although the hike itself is hard work and long days of hiking (+ the altitude). Make sure you are prepared!
Thanks so much Kandoo!

Just come back from my adventure trip in Bhutan. I would say, one of the most memorable one. Overall, visiting Bhutan is a cultural immersion experience. Combined with The 4-day " druk path trek ", it made this trip so wonderful. We followed the ancient trade route through lush forests, and over high mountain passes, lakes, offering stunning views of the Himalayas along the way. I also had the opportunity to visit remote monastery and talked to the monks about their spiritual life and beliefs which was fascinating.
Most importantly, a very special thank you to our guide, Chenchou, whose enthusiasm, knowledge, kindness and patience has made this trip so amazing. In such a short period of time, he managed to show us almost every aspect of the Bhutanese life which even includes to an invite to a local Archery party while men were participating the national sports and women were signing and dancing to celebrate the end of the raining season. What an adventure. I am truly grateful for what this special country and people has offered. The most impressive journey ever.

Right from my point of enquiry the kandoo team were extremely attentive. I was very well informed and felt totally reassured to travel alone to my adventure, airport transfer was excellent and I was met by my guide upon arrival at the hotel, and introduced to my fellow adventurers.
After a quick rundown of the next days objectives I settled down in my comfy room for a good night's sleep.
I won't go into to much detail regarding the Mount Toubkal hike, what I will say is that it's extremely well organised, all you need to do is hike and adsorb the magnificence of your surroundings, everything else is taken care of, meals are prepared for you, and your camp is all set up for you each evening, My guide Mohamed Oulkadi was just great, spoke English extremely well, and knew the route like the back of his hand, a very knowledgeable and pleasant man, you'll be fortunate to have him guide you through the mountains.
Finally a quick note on fitness, make no mistake, you need to be fit to do the full 6 days, I wasn't, so actually failed Toubkal itself, but that was on me, I simply wasn't prepared, and you definitely need to be, please don't let that put you off, the experience was amazing, so much so I intend to return in spring, a little more prepared this time 😁

The Indus Valley Trek was an awesome trip indeed! The magnificent mountain vistas, the soulful monasteries, interesting food and the friendly Ladakhi people. Massive thanks to Phuntsok and the whole crew for making this trip unforgettable! Definitely a great introduction to the Himalayas as it was my first Himalayan trek. Though the trek was moderately challenging, Phuntsok made sure it was well-paced and all of us cope well with the altitude. We were very well looked after by the whole crew. Would certainly recommend this trip!

The Indus Valley Trek trip was overall incredible! Impressive landscape, breathtaking sceneries, and friendly Ladakhi people. Could not thank highly enough the whole team for making this adventure a memorable and awe-inspiring one. I have travelled to many places before but nothing quite like Ladakh. It surprised me in so many ways. Phuntsok, our lead guide, did a great job in making sure all of us were happy and coping well at high altitude. The entire camping crew and Yangtso our driver looked after us from meal preps, camp setups and driving us all safe from one destination to another. The trek grading I'd say was moderately challenging due to the few high passes we had to cross each day but all worth the effort. Phuntsok was excellent in setting the trek pace! Visiting the monasteries was also very culturally enticing, we even managed to witness a local festival along the way. The highland lakes in Tibetan Plateau is something that one must see in their lifetime I reckon, got to see the nomads doing their morning routine pasturing animals particularly the pashmina goats. Everything about this trip was flawless. Highly recommended especially if you want a great mix of activities in one adventure. One thing I'd suggest is to add Pangong Lake in the itinerary as the mountain and views are next level! Kudos to Phuntsok and his crew for their service and for showcasing the best of the region! Kandoo Adventures keep it up, you have a great local team in Ladakh!

Just unbelievable. We hiked the Lemosho route and all made it to the top. 4 of us supported by a team of 2 guides, a chef, and 14 porters. Couldn't fault the trip. The work those guys do is incredible. The lead guide, Robert, was so experienced, knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. He was concerned primarily with our well-being, conducting health checks twice daily while we ascended. His assistant, Tadeus, was far more than a capable guide - he told us about the botany and geology of the area.
The food was incredible. How on Earth the chef managed to do what he did - chips, and good ones, at a temporary lunch camp at 4600m - is beyond me. We had three meals a day, all varied with three courses each time.
I would not do something like this with anyone else. Book a Kilimanjaro trip with Kandoo and you won't regret it.
