Kapow Toys Reviews 

I've been using Kapow for well over a decade now and they offer a great selection of stock at very competitive prices and their team have always been helpful whenever I have any queries.

After posting this 1* review I was emailed the following day to apologise for the lack of response and to ask if I had received a notification regarding my requests made through their website. I responded that there hadn't been.

Within a few minutes I received a follow up email with a further apology, a promise to look into the issue, and a polite request to reconsider my review once the refund had been processed. This arrived at the same time as a confirmation from paypal that the refund had been processed.

I very much appreciate the prompt response once someone did contact me, but I feel like this all could have been avoided if they had a direct email to contact them on rather than a web form which can go wrong in ways no one is aware of until it's too late. I do not use a telephone due to disability, so email is my go-to method of communication.

I will be thinking very seriously before daring to use the website again and would personally be very wary of pre-ordering, but that said, I wouldn't totally rule it out.

In December 2022 I ordered an item which had been due to arrive in store in November, but was still only showing pre-order. Understanding how shipping to the UK has become an issue since Brexit, I was hoping that this meant that I was just getting in before they'd arrived. I paid the full price up front as I had the money available and didn't know if that would be the case at whatever date it came into stock.

Towards the end of April 2023, I gave up ever getting this item (which was still open for pre-orders on the Kapow Toys website) so emailed them to request a full refund for my order. I immediately received an automatic reply advising me to go to the website and use the "contact us" form whereupon I should expect a reply within 24-48 hours.

I didn't receive a response or any notification of a refund and still haven't over two months later. I've reached out to them again tonight, but I'm not holding my breath. They're holding my money though. This is only the second time I've ever purchased from this site, and the first time I've pre-ordered. I really wish I'd paid more attention to those who gave negative reviews on here now.

I had 2 pre-orders made on their old site. I contacted them to make sure the orders would go through, and was assured they would. One of them comes into stock, I pay the PayPal invoice, then nothing. After a week, I email to ask about the order and was fobbed off with an autoreply. A week later, I email again and get no reply at all. I was only able to get someone to reply by cancelling the other order (after waiting 2 years for it to arrive) and replying to the refund notification email. Turns out my order had been lost, but they still took my money. Was offered the item but went for a refund. After stressing for 2 weeks with no communication over an expensive order, I won't be buying from what used to be my go-to toy site again. The 1 star is for Charlotte, who actually replied to my email, and sorted out a refund quickly.

I was looking all over the place for the Sentinel SV Miles Morales Figure and then i found Kapow toys. I tried to order the figure from their website but they did not send to Denmark. I was disappointed, but then I tried to email their contact support and they were very friendly. We made a deal and they send the figure to Denmark. I just received it and it’s in amazing condition. Thank you very much

Excellent customer service. Had issues with Royal Mail and Kapow Toys went above and beyond to get it sorted. I've ordered from them in the past and they are always prompt with delivery and enquiries. Good value for money and selection of figures, memorabilia etc.

I was a little concerned by some of the negative reviews, but my order came exactly as described and well packaged within two days of ordering. I'm very happy with my purchase as I hadn't expected to be able to get these toys so long after they stopped being produced.
Pricing for items and shipping was very reasonable.

Been using Kapow for many years now, since back when they used to do pre-orders for a certain brand in the UK. Will continue to use them as they are fantastic. Great price, great products, great service.

These guys have a great selection and competitive prices and pretty fast shipping, to boot! Never had a problem with them and I'll keep using them whenever I can.

A trustworthy and reliable business.
I am one of those weirdos that collects Transformers, its that or alcoholism, so I chose the robots. ...and purchasing them from Kapow toys really is a good experience for the buyer.
Good pay options, deposit or pay in full for pre-orders.
Good order processing speeds.
I did have a problem with an order being processed one time, but it was dealt with quickly once I alerted the staff.
Their auto-response email seems a bit terse in tone, but I gather they have some VERY demanding customers, so ....
The website is nice to navigate and they don't just sell Transformers to grown-up geeks, there are often things from the more for children friendly end of the franchise and of course its not just Transformers. They stock many other fan collectables or whatever else you want to call them to try and fool yourself for some weird reason.
So whatever your nerdy interest, have a look, you're bound to see something that will tickle your fancy and/or warm your nostalgia node.

Awesome company. I've ordered from them directly and also via eBay, and experienced first-rate service on each occasion. Products (Transformers in both cases) were exactly as described, and delivered quickly and very securely packaged. Will definitely order from again.

Ordered the Two-Face Hot Toys figure from The Dark Knight, as I couldn’t locate the piece anywhere else. I quickly purchased the piece on Kapow Toys. The figure was dispatched rather quickly & communcation was good.
I will use them again if they have any items in stock I want in the future!

As a fellow retailer, these guys are one of the best, they are my personal go to for older figures that we had either sold out of or are no longer available. Rapid delivery, well packed and easy to navigate website. Can't recommend higher.
