The ad - photo and copy - conveys leather bags handcrafted with love, care, and attention to detail. By Karen herself. Here is the “story” of the bag I received: not leather, mass produced, and, based on shipping records, from Mainland China. The term bait-and-switch comes to mind.

This site is a total scam,selling the idea of bag made of leather hand made in US,but I received a leatherette bag made in china .I wanted to return it.They give me a hard time ,and wont promise if I shall be refunded.

The bag I ordered is not leather. It looks nothing like the photo. The leather cleaner came in a tin labeled "furniture polish" I felt totally ripped off. This is not a legitimate company. Their web site looks great, and I fell for their scam. The goods come from Hong Kong. In my estimation they are close to worthless.

The bags are not real leather and neither of them hand crafted

AND THE ALINA BAG USUALLY USES GRACES NAME IN IT !! Look at their website.

The bag is cheap plastic from China, not leather. The Karen's Bags website is a made up scam. Don't order from these crooks

The "Timeless Classic Leather Bag" is cheaply made. No way hand made! I think this company is a scam. Seriously doubt any of these women are real craftsmen--probably just models as all of the stuff is made in China. The bags'interior is a cheap polyester lining, there is one zip pocket and the "leather" (if it is leather) looks like vinyl. The jewelry is OK. The "Fine Gold Necklace" probably is not gold but gold plate or fill. It is a nice piece, however. The other jewelry I bought is just fair. All of it looks good online but a bit chintzy in reality.

This is a complete scam. Cheap vinyl tote not worth $10. I would bet the 5 Star reviews are made up. No customer support either.

This is a scam. I should have known with the AI Karen. The bags are cheap. Above all, I don't like companies that rip people off with blatant lies.

I ordered a genuine leather plum color computer satchel for $133.39. I received a plastic bag that I wouldn't even give to my two year old granddaughter because it was so ugly. Of course, only an email for contact. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!

There is no "Karen". The bag I received was imported from China. The material is faux leather. The bag is not lined, just leather-like cloth pieces sewn together to form the product. Buyer beware

It was my intention to buy this for my daughter in law for Christmas. For several years I given her high quality bags (Louie, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, etc) but this year I decided to purchase what I thought was a well made purse that was made in the USA. Boy was I was wrong. It's from China not from some little old lady that has worked her entire life and now wants to retire. I could have gotten one from Wal-Mart that looks better then this. Worst 53.00 I have ever spent. I made have to spend at least 3-4 times more then that but at least I know it will be a bag that will last her for many years and won't cause me to look like a fool.

This is not a company, this is the biggest scam. Karen bags don’t exist. The bags are made and sent from China. All the positive feedback you read is fake. Waste of money, bag will not be used, complete rubbish, going in the trash. Do not buy from these scammers

My case just became a federal case. Karen’s bags is tapering with the labels on the bags. Karen Bags when I returned them for fraud stuck a different label on top of the US Postal service label making it a private label. The police took pictures and took the bag into evidence. The police are notifying the FBI for tampering of US mail.

Total lies and a scam operator. This company is not running out of business. They portray to be a company out of USA, but are operating in some backwaters in China. Stay away!

Oh my GOD! I cant belive this, the bags are plastic and not LEATHER as advertise.
the zipper are broken and the bags were packed very poorly. all 3 bags wraped up and folded inside a plastic bag. I reached out to them and ask for return, and this was the respond! lol

This is a scam. We purchased two handbags, neither of which was made of leather. Just cheap plastic bags from China. We got back a 30% refund, which was lucky; all the 5-star reviews are BS. Be careful, DO NOT buy.

The website showed beautiful quality bags. When I receive my two bags they were both cheap and cheesy. They are not worth the sale price. I am very disappointed because I planned on giving them as gifts. I am too embarrassed to give them to anyone. Bummer!

Extremely poor quality, deceptive site, highly disappointed. Idk how to return them so I'm stuck with such a poor, lousy products!
