Shoddy all round.

Unfortunately I am unable to award zero stars. I ordered a shirt, having seen it on Instagram. When it arrived the shirt was nothing like the shirt in the photos on the Kate London website. The material was cheap; the stitching was as basic as could be; there was no labelling of any sort (isn't this a requirement?). Absolute rubbish.

Getting a refund from your bank

I’ve had the same experience as all the other reviews. I contacted my bank explaining the whole situation regarding this fraudulent company, told them about the 100% negative reviews on trustpilot. I got a full refund from my bank within 24 hours. I would suggest anyone who has suffered does the same.

Stay away at all costs

Stay away at all costs,
Clothes are shocking and turn up in zip bags, sent from china to a warehouse in the uk then forwarded onto you, then they ask to return goods back to china via track and trace and you will not see a refund.
Total scam company with scam reviews.

Complete scam

Complete scam, ordered these and the quality is terrible. The colours do not match the website let alone the pictures on the website. Nothing to do with London.

A scam

As per all the other reviews, received terribl quality clothing, nothing like the pictures online. Was taken in by the fact that their website appears to show positive trustpilot score and reviews, which is clearly an issue that needs rectifying. have asked for a refund but don't hold out much hope - will try via my bank.

Kate London to be avoided like the plague !

I was foolishly seduced or mislead by the Kate London website . When the shirts did eventually arrive , they were manufactured with a cheap poor quality fabric , the colours were not as represented by those on their website and interestingly no branding . Negotiating a return I soon discovered that you were penalised and had pay postage to China before a refund . Loads of hype about sustainability and had the audacity to suggest I might like to donate them to a charity shop !
The only positive comment I can add is that their customer services do respond and you soon enter a pointless never ending dialogue .
They also trade as Lofty Lux and Milan Republic .

SCAM - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE

This company is running a purchasing scam.

I saw their advertisement on Instagram and I liked the trousers displayed in the advert. I decided to purchase the trousers.

The shipment took nearly 3 weeks to arrive with me, and only arrived I chased the company via email to find out where they were.

Upon receiving the toursers, the quality was absolutely appalling. They were made from a cheap and shiny material and looked nothing like the photos advertising them. When I wrote to the company, they have advised I can apply for a refund and return the trousers. In the reply, the company say that 'in order to minimise the impact on our planet' that they do not offer free refunds. There was absolutely no mention of this when purchasing.

In order to get the refund, I can send the trousers back to the returns address, which is in mainland China. That will cost more than the trousers cost in the first place.

Upon further investigation, the company's home page features fake Trust Pilot reviews. When searching on the actual Trust Pilot site, the reviews basically say the same as this and that essentially a scam as most people will not bother with the extra cost of sending the items to China.

Hopefully, this review will save other people of the wasting their money by buying from what looks like a reputable company which is in actual fact a very typical scam.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Saw a Facebook ad for a nice shirt. It took 2 weeks to arrive and was clearly not the shirt in the photo. Different styling and poor quality. I contacted them to return it but they do not pay for returns and recommend that I pay for Tracked postage. This would be around half the value of the shirt, even if I trusted them to send a refund. Lesson learned. Shirt going to a charity shop. Do not use this company.

Fraudulent company .
I saw them on TkTok. Bought shoes and received cheap unsuitable unwearable product. When I asked for refund, they said don’t offer refunds.
They claim 5 stars TrustPilot reviews. Is all fake and website is fake!

Get a refund from your bank

Get a refund from your bank - you can!!

I also just got stung by this company and it’s a clever scam… but scams increasingly are.

Facebook and Instagram DO NOT WANT TO KNOW - they are knowingly fostering an environment where these things flourish.

The adverts don’t allow comments and When I have tried to draw their attention to it, the moderator takes a one minute look at the website and passes them as a credible business.

The scam is that the clothes look decent and the website looks good… but then you receive poor quality, drop shipped white label synthetic fabric rubbish items from China.

They then either don’t reply to a refund request or dance around it until you get bored.

Don’t get bored, tell PayPal or your bank.

They rely on you just going away and accepting you have been stung.

I complained via my bank (RBS in UK) and drew their attention to this Trustpilot page too and have my money back inside a week.

Please do this!!

Total scam. Stay well clear.

Sadly, I have fallen victim to this scam too. The shirt I ordered eventually arrived after weeks of pestering and looked nothing like what I ordered and was cheap rubbish. When I tried to return, I discovered like many others that I would have to send it back to China with track and trace rendering it pointless. They told me that "At Kate London, we strive for sustainability and endeavor to minimize our ecological footprint as much as possible. For this reason, we unfortunately do not offer free returns. We believe this encourages us all to be more mindful about our purchases and their impact on our planet". Can you believe that. Total scam. Stay well clear.

Poor quality and they request any returns to China.

As many have said, and in our experience the products received are very poor quality and were not as they were described. Returns requested are to China even though the return address on the original package is to Southall. In my opinion this is nothing more than a scam to sell cheap products and make it too expensive to make a return. My advice avoid this company and its products.
