I had problems with my account due to Sky trying to get me to order every product they sold, Victoria at KCOM made sure my KCOM account was still secure and up and running, also Matt from tech support was able to help me with my buffering problems and broadband speeds, both were very helpful and polite, and able to sort out my problems.

Outdated false advertised packages to lure you in thinking they're helping with discounts... my package advertises as over £70 per month, discounted down to £50.
For 900mbps down and 500mbps up.
When we see others offering 2.3Gbps for £30 per month with its annual increases for the next 5 years is STILL cheaper than Kcom.
And provides you with actual wifi6 routers, not cruddy amazon eero wifi boosters (boosting a slow service signal isn't going to improve anything)
Dedicated download speeds and uploads, not overall speeds split and shared, each is their own.
Kcom for decades have been relying on having the monopoly in hull, now we have new providers, offering over 2x the service at a fraction of the cost kcom would charge.

I had a full instal at my new address. Both engineers were very good and helpful. They put the router and did the external wiring to my expectations. They did a really good job and pleased with the service.

Arrival time was between 8 and 12 and they arrived at half eight.
By ten they were finished and I was online.
Friendly helpful gents and I was online straight away.

Just renewed my Broadband package from 500 mbps to 900 mbps with the price staying at the slightly cheaper then my old package which was going to rise to £70 per month. No brainer.

Been with kcom lifetime and can't normally fault the service. but when I had a technical issue with my broadband it took lots of phone calls and lots of repeating myself and troubleshooting steps . I was advised by one call handler its not there problem and to maybe go buy s third party router out my own money. Technical support call center need more training in listen to customers and not repeating same troubleshooting steps as previously technical advisor. I was then contacted by a customer service assistant due to the amount of calls made to technical support. I had a engineers pro appointment who did few checks on his laptop and then said it must be the ethernet cable to the router is the problem but the call center said the ethernet is fine many time. More training for technical support needed
