Many customers found the product's new recipe to be disgusting, with an unpleasant taste and texture that made it inedible. What you gone and done to the All-bran its horrible.

I bought all bran the other day and thought i would tuck in to some as my evening snack and was shocked at the content when i opened it. Its a totally different product. I couldn't eat it and i had to throw it in the bin. It doesn't soak up milk. I feel so sad now. Another good product bites the dust. Thanks a bunch.

A good product ruined.

The new crispy texture has resulted in very poor product. There is now virtually no flavour, it's like eating twigs. The milk is not soaked up like before and the cereal just floats on top. I can't see how making it crunchy reduces food waste, that's just nonsense. A classic case of trying to be clever and getting it all wrong.

One star as I can’t give it zero

One star as I can’t give it zero

Does not soak milk, taste like cardboard
Absolutely nothing like the product I’ve bought for 40 years and mother 40 years before that

3 spoonfuls from box - throwing away the rest
Do not trust Kellogg’s anymore
Reluctant to buy cornflakes and other products
Assume this is profit driven

Off to try Aldi and Tesco own brands

ALL IS NOT LOST M&S OWN BRAND IS THE SAME AS THE OLD KELLOGGS RECIPE

As we all know the new Kellogg’s all bran is only fit for the bin. It’s un eatable, my chickens would not even eat it, it’s that bad. I have been eating all bran for over 50 years and was shocked at how bad the new stuff was. I had to bin the hole box and could not even finish my first and last bowl of it. Anyway all is not lost the M&S own brand is almost identical to the old Kellogg’s recipe. I am eating it as I write this. I am a happy bunny now.

New All Bran is Horrible

I I poured out my favorite bran cereal, left it to soak the milk and came back to eat. On coming back to eat I saw these small worm-like stringy things in my bowl and not the porridge like All Bran I wanted. Then I ate it and the disappointment was such that I checked the box to see if it had expired – No, it was in date. On a whim, I checked to see if the recipe had changed and yes, it has “To hold their shape better in milk”.

This is horrible. I’ll finish the box by mixing All Bran with other cereals but that is my 55-year love affair with Kellogg's All Bran over and done with.

I wonder if Kellogg’s asked habitual consumers of All Bran before making this change.

I am throwing away my new packet of…

I am throwing away my new packet of All-bran. I disliked the first mouthful and then checked the box to see that there is a new recipe. The new recipe All-bran has a strange tangy taste and is too crunchy. It’s a shame as I was on (another!) resolution to eat more fibre!

The new recipe of All Bran is a total…

The new recipe of All Bran is a total disaster. Twice i have emailed head office to ask if they will revert back to the original recipe, but they refuse to acknowledge the views of their customers. I think they secretly want to discontinue the line.

Poor Changes in Flavour and Shape

The taste is different - even more bland than before - but my complaint is about the size of the “sticks” They’re longer and are difficult to get on the spoon. I know this sounds petty but it’s become a very messy breakfast, especially where young children are concerned! Fortunately I have found another brand I like which is cheaper so I guess I should be grateful!

Should actually be a minus one score

Should actually be a minus one score, this is disgusting 🤮, milk does not soak in and it stays tasteless and crunchy. Will go back to bran flakes from now on. Such a shame.

The new recipe is awful

The new recipe is awful, no taste and texture is like eating cardboard. Very disappointing when you couldn't even finish the bowl and now have to throw the rest of a large box away as its just not edible

Back to the drawing board Kellogg's

Well done Kellogg's, you've lost another customer. The new All-Bran cereal is horrid, it’s hard, crunchy, tasteless and doesn't soften up in the milk. Totally inedible, avoid at all costs.
If you did some proper market research you would know what consumers liked about the original All-Bran.

I hate the new All Bran recipe

I hate the new All Bran recipe. Tasteless, wrong consistency. Nasty tongue feel in the mouth. Please return to original recipe as soon as possible. This is absolutely not an improvement. I have given myself a good length of time to try to get used to it, but I still hate it.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Agree with all other one star ratings. Surely their Product Development department never did any form of product testing. I understand that they have to manage their production wastage but if nobody buys it that will be the least of their concerns.

The new recipe is awful!!!

The new recipe is awful!!!! I've been enjoying Allbran for over 30 years but the " new recipe" is hard, tasteless & inedible. It went straight into the bin, I certainly won't be buying any more.

New All Bran - REVOLTING

The new All Bran is absolutely disgusting, whole box ended up in the bin, couldn't even finish the bowl I had!
Have now swapped to Asda's own brand which, while it's not quite the original All Bran, it is far superior than the revolting recipe Kelloggs have swapped to. They need to bring back the original recipe asap from looking at all the reviews across many online platforms, but it appears to be falling on deaf ears as someone doesn't want to admit they made a mistake!

Disappointingly inferior to the original.

I didn't realise that All Bran had changed their recipe, until I tasted it. How disappointing! It's like having a bunch of little sticks in your cereal bowl. They are hard and stay hard even if you put hot milk on them. The descriptions on the box are deceiving too, 'All Bran Fibre Plus' suggests that there is more fibre than the in the original, when there is less. 'High in Superior Fibre' makes out that the 'New Recipe' is much better than the last one. Well not for me it isn't! In future, if I can't find any original All Bran, I'll choose a different cereal.
