Kensington Tours
Hotels: We loved all of the hotels! They were conveniently located, safe, clean, and modern. All had fabulous breakfasts, which made it enjoyable and easy to be ready for each day's early activities.
Guides: All were very knowledgeable, friendly, & fluent in English.
Itinerary: We loved the activities and tours planned for us each day, which reflected the preferences we had discussed with our Kensington trip planner! We feel as though we experienced the best of Galapagos.
Overall: Every aspect of our trip went extremely smooth. We utilized the Kensington App multiple times per day and found it extremely helpful!

We booked flights, a cruise, and private transfers with Kensington. The flights are cruise were outstanding. We had trouble with our transfers from the airport and the hotel and had to call an Uber both times; however, Kensington refunded $1000 to our credit card for compensation. Kensington does care about its travelers.

1. ATH to CHQ Connection Issues
• The Issue: We were scheduled to arrive at ATH at 9:55 AM, but due to a delay, we arrived at 11:00 AM.
• The Problem: The connection to CHQ was at 11:25 AM, which was far too tight considering we had to go through customs.
We missed the flight and had to wait for the 2:30 PM flight, arriving at CHQ at 4:15 PM.
• Impact: My phone died after getting luggage, and with no way to contact the driver, we didn’t arrive at our hotel until after 6:00 PM, which was disappointing.
• Note: I believe 1 hour 30 mins is the minimum safe connection time for international-to-domestic in Athens.

2. Santorini Hotel & Transportation
• Hotel (Sail the Seas): The hotel was disappointing. We experienced power outages twice, the TV wasn't working, we had no Wi-Fi, and there was no soap in the restroom.
While the front desk eventually resolved some issues, it was not the experience we expected.
• Location: When I asked the local tour person, they confirmed it was not in the best area, requiring a steep walk to the city.
• Transportation: The Santorini drivers were not punctual. One driver sat down and ate dinner with us, which felt unprofessional, and
the food provided was very small, leaving my niece disappointed and hungry.

Summary
Crete was 10/10, but the issues in Santorini made the experience significantly less smooth. I wanted to share this data, so you are aware of these local supplier issues.
Again, thanks for your efforts, and I look forward to booking our next adventure.

We worked with Tanya to create a trip to Poland. She worked with us to make sure to include all the cities and sites we wanted to visit. This was the most enjoyable vacation I have ever been on because all the details were taken care of for us. We stayed in great hotels, guides and drivers were knowledgeable, friendly and always on time. Tickets for tours were purchased ahead of time. Highly recommend working with Kensington to book a trip to Poland.

Second hotel not worth the money. Needed help with train. Everything else good.

Wonderful travel agency! The small group tours set up by Kensington were wonderful! The hotels and inner continental transportation were nicely appointed and convenient. We had a great trip.

It was our first trip to UK, and we were so happy to experience our time there. We did everything we wanted to do, and had excellent guidance. Totally satisfied‼️🇬🇧

Kensington was an absolute joy to work with! Every accommodation, transfer, experience, tour, etc. was truly wonderful and we couldn't recommend working with them enough. We had zero worries throughout our time in Japan and everything worked out perfectly.

The first hotel we stayed at was under major construction. Kensington said the hotel should have told them but this hotel was booked at least 10 months in advance and I think Kensington should have followed up with all hotels to see if there any changes to accommodations. We were not taken to the airport for an international flight 3 hours ahead of time (like any airline recommends) but they sent a driver at 11 for a 1:15 flight (flight actually closed at 12:15). We arrived at airport at 11:45 only to find out the wrong visa for Australia was filled out and I didn’t have time to download the Australia ETA before gate closed. I had to speak to 5 different people to get flight rescheduled for next day. I was charged 500.00 for them to schedule these flights and feel I should have had a direct contact for any problems. Everything snowballed from there. We missed a dinner Kensington was treating us to. They rescheduled but never advised us until I called and spoke to 3 different people. I was told to pay for hotel for extra night and claim on insurance which I already paid for those accommodations in Australia but couldn’t use. I would never use Kensington again and find that I tell people more about the bad than the good of my trip which is sad for the money I spent for this trip.

As first-time Italy travelers (and getting up in age), we were hesitant to "go it alone". We gave Kensington our dream trip ideas and they fleshed out the details. We believe turning the planning over to Kensington was a great decision, leaving us with no second guessing or regrets.

This is the fourth trip in which I used Kensington Tours, each of which has added to our great experiences. Kensington listens to our ideal itinerary, suggests compromises and then works within our budget to provide amazing hotels, tours, guides and transportation. We are at ease knowing someone will retrieve us at the airport, hotel or wherever we arranged to have an escort. They are timely, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kensington Tours, esp when you are traveling overseas and prefer your own itinerary with private guides.

My wife and I planned a trip to Ireland to discover her roots and learn more about where her family came from. With a visit to the EPIC Museum and some background research she had done beforehand, we were able to uncover that history in a meaningful way. Our driver, Stephen D., was instrumental in helping us find the exact location of my wife’s great-grandfather’s house. Seeing the place where her family once lived was especially exciting and deeply meaningful for both of us.

Kensington Travel planned our trip for three couples to England and did a great job. Samantha our travel planner was fantastic to work with. Everything went off perfectly and we couldn't have been happier. Will definitely utilize them in the future.

Our Kensington destination expert, Katie, started learning about our two-couple traveling group via a 60-minute phone call which actually extend to about 90 minutes. Throughout the planning process, she listened to our thoughts and comments, made suggestions, and ultimately kept us on track. The end result was an extraordinary trip which met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The in-country Kensington staff were knowledgeable and experienced, and specific information and needs of our group was communicated to them in advance.
