Our Kensington destination expert, Katie, started learning about our two-couple traveling group via a 60-minute phone call which actually extend to about 90 minutes. Throughout the planning process, she listened to our thoughts and comments, made suggestions, and ultimately kept us on track. The end result was an extraordinary trip which met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The in-country Kensington staff were knowledgeable and experienced, and specific information and needs of our group was communicated to them in advance. The pace and coordination of the trip (15-days) was exceptional.

We were highly impressed with the tours and tour guides provided throughout this trip. Shin, Aiko, Divy, and Kingo have been great ambassadors and showcasing the best and fun sides of Japan to us. They all, along with the drivers and transportation guides, have really made this trip feel so special and exciting. It has so far exceeded our expectations. The guides that we had were always on time and willing to tailor our experiences to our needs. We always enjoyed each day and we were exhausted and happy. The first guide included sumptuous lunches for us of traditional Korean food.

Our tour guides in Peru were exceptional, and provided great perspectives across the board spanning insights on Peru’s dynamic history, religions, cuisine and culture. Special shout out to Gonzalito in Cusco for a fun horseback riding afternoon, and perspectives on travels through the Sacred Valley. We were extremely happy with the services received from Kensington Tours throughout our European Trip from April 20th through May 9th, 2026. Kimberly was the one who helped us plan our trip, ensuring the entire itinerary to include individual private tours, guides and drivers. We only had one glitch, that was not the fault of Kensington, where our First/Business Class train ticket from Munich to Krakow where the train car "no longer existed." Needless to say we had to find seats, that were not adjacent to each other with two large suitcases and two carry-on suitcases. Kimberly insured we had drivers for transfer from airport/train station to hotel and back again.
Kirk took care of our airline tickets. All airline reservations were made accurately and we encountered no problems with these transportation needs. He was prompt in getting back to us with any questions or concerns.
Lastly, I would like to mention Roxanne who on numerous occasions, assisted us courteously and efficiently to deal with numerous details/issues/problems that we encountered with our trip. Roxanne resolved the problem and followed up with us with the resolution. In fact, when I did call Kensington, I would ask for Roxanne, if she was working, because I knew she knew our issues and we would not have to update someone else who was not familiar with our previous issues or concerns.

Garland Chang from Kensington Tours put together an extraordinary 3½-week journey through China for us, including Beijing, Xi’an, Lhasa, Chengdu, Yangshuo, and Shanghai. From the very beginning, Garland was an absolute pleasure to work with. He consistently responded to our emails and phone calls within just a couple of hours, and every interaction with him was warm, thoughtful, and engaging.

While we certainly wanted to experience China’s iconic highlights - including the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, and the panda research base in Chengdu - we also hoped for something deeper: an opportunity to truly connect with the Chinese culture, their people, and the spiritual traditions of Tibet. This is where Garland truly excelled. He listened carefully to what we wanted and customized the trip in a way that clearly exceeded our expectations.

Our six days in Tibet were especially meaningful. Garland arranged for us to visit several local families, giving us an authentic glimpse into daily life. One family, together with their children, demonstrated how they make soy milk, yogurt, and tofu. Another devout Buddhist family welcomed us into their home and prepared an incredible traditional lunch for us. Garland also organized hikes to monasteries, opportunities to witness monks chanting and participating in their philosophical debates, and paired us with a deeply knowledgeable and devout Buddhist guide who shared extensive teachings and insights about Buddhism throughout our stay.

In Beijing, Garland arranged reservations at the outstanding three-Michelin-starred Xin Rong Ji, making sure our dinner included authentic Peking duck. He also organized a fascinating visit with a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, a jade factory tour, and a wonderful cooking class with a local family where we learned to make Kung Pao chicken.

In Shanghai, Garland secured reservations at the exceptional three-Michelin-starred Taian Table, along with arranging a Tai Chi class, a calligraphy lesson, a tea ceremony, and a memorable visit to the beautiful water town of Zhujiajiao, often referred to as the “Venice of Shanghai.”

In Chengdu, he arranged dinner at the two-Michelin-starred Yu Zhi Lan, where we enjoyed a bird nest dessert and many unique Sichuan delicacies. In Yangshuo, Garland recommended the incredibly peaceful Yangshuo Sugar House, a countryside retreat nestled among the mountains. He and Kensington also arranged and paid for VIP seating for the spectacular outdoor Liu Sanjie Impression Show along the Li River, with the dramatic mountains as an unforgettable backdrop.

Every detail of the trip - from the exceptional in-country guides and drivers to the thoughtfully curated experiences - was flawlessly organized. Garland and Kensington created one of the most memorable travel experiences we have ever had. We were absolutely delighted working with Garland and are already considering future trips to Japan and Indonesia with him, as those are destinations he also specializes in.

Go to Morocco! From booking with Ashley and flight team- customizing the tour, getting things set. To being treated like royalty in the safety of a private vehicle prepare to have ALL of your senses indulged.

Our guide, HADOU is a teacher and should be called "Mr. Morocco", he told us everything Morocco was and is. He gave us expert insight of where to buy our teasures, how to interact with the locals and even made my 50th birthday rooftop celebtration something I will never forget. Hadou gave us the very deep rich history of this country and how it got to be the wonder it is today. I wiped happy tears out of my eyes DAILY. We were never rushed or bored. Hadou's years of tourism was on full display as he quickly learned about us and our wishes for the trip- and proceeded to check off every single box!

The Atlas Mountains and the Berber people will touch your heart and you will bring home a better version of yourself for visiting this country. Your eyes will feast on color and textures, your nose will be delighted by the food and perfumes, your body will relax in a Hummam bath. And the whole experience will enchant your life as is has mine. Atlas monkeys, snake charmers, tajin meals, and so many other surprises around every corner.

Hadou and Mohommad made us feel safe the entire time. In the bustling souks and streets to high Altas mountain driving. We got to sit back and take it all in. We did the MOROCCO SIGNATURE package and only wished to have stayed in the Sahara 2 nights instead of only 1. It was magical. The Sahara and its people offer many other things to do besides camels. Which was fantasic. And I got to celebrate my 50 years in way far better than I envisioned.

We have traveled on bus tours and have found the extra money spent on a private vehicle and guide is a completely different experence. Its your experience, not a bus full of people's! Other tour companies offer private tours for less but let me tell you -NOBODY does it like Kensington.

Go to Morocco, do all the things, check off all of your boxes!

Our trip was excellent from start to finish. Our destination expert Farzana listened to what we wanted and some mobility concerns and helped develop an itinerary that allowed us to experience what we wanted to see in a way that was incredibly educational and comfortable. Our guide Ilker was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He made history come alive and also provided insights on living in Turkey today. We appreciated his flexibility in approaching the schedule and his attention to every detail. Excellent from start to finish!

The Kensington team and our travel expert, Sarah Spencer were outstanding! Our trip was our magic start to finish! We highly recommend Kensington for dream trips!

I am most thankful to Michelle B. for planning our trip to England. She put a lot of effort into making sure that this trip was what my sister and I were wanting. The Hotel was perfectly set between all the highlights and the amount of walking that we did was exhausting and a lot of fun. The guide that did the walking tour with us was super nice and if you could get him a bonus or at least dinner he certainly deserved it. He was very nice, friendly and funny. I plan on going on another trip based on this one in a couple of years and I definitely will be calling and going through Kensington again, hopefully Michelle will still be there and she can help us out. All the places that Michelle picked out for us was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Definitely going somewhere, maybe even back to England. When I tell anyone about this trip I definitely include Michelle, she did a superb job. Please tell her thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was a wonderful experience and I don't believe she could have done better.

This was the second international trip Kensington has arranged for my wife and me and once again they did not disappoint. Our trip to Ireland was magical. The agent we worked with to plan trip was excellent and a pleasure to talk to. She worked hard to include everything we wanted to see and do. We used Kensington’s air experts to book our airfare and that went smoothly.
When in Ireland all the logistics were perfect. From airport transfers to traveling between cities all happened without issue. The accommodations Kensington pick for us were all outstanding from service, beautiful rooms, central locations, and wonderful included breakfast to start your day. The guides that were provided for us could not have been better. They all were knowledgeable, funny, kind , and felt like family.
Kensington truly gave us our dream vacation to Ireland. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

The guides we had in Bali and Singapore were absolutely wonderful. Their depth of knowledge and willingness to share deeper insights and take us to less traveled tourist areas, greatly increased the enjoyment and lasting effect of our trip.

The Hotel Belmond Jimbaran Puri was a gem. The food at this hotel and the Shangri-la Singapore lounge was some of the best food on the whole trip of 21 days.

I am a travel neophyte and have never traveled overseas before so I needed a lot of help when I decided I wanted to visit Seoul, Korea. Kensington was the right choice because of the detailed itinerary that was planned for me and the guide and drivers that were with me every step of the way. My personal guide, Stephanie, was absolutely fantastic, very accommodating and helpful and able to fit in whatever extra place I wanted to visit on the fly. My only regret is that I wasn't more clear on what kind of places I wanted to see--I am a huge K Drama fan and would have liked to have seen some filming locations but I ended up having more K Pop places on my itinerary. If I work with Kensington again I will do more research on K Drama-related locations so I can see more of the things that interest me. Otherwise I had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.

We recently returned from a trip to Tuscany that was created by Italy expert Melania with Kensington Tours. Melanie was fantastic to work with as everything came together on short notice. The properties suggested were the best in location, each full of their own character, outstanding meals and staff and beautiful views. Included were private transfers, drivers and guides.
