Got the car on Saturday 20th may got on the M2 to go home the car went into limp mode ring them from the car on the M2 to talk them about it, and was told to take it to there garage in Dartford Hawley road service centre which I did they looked at it put on the computer took it for a test drive said it was ok but if the sensor start to flash it needs to come back so I left the garage drove back to Gravesend and only just made it in limp mode again. I’ve rung them and at kentmotingworld and told them I want my money back and they will need to come and pick the car up as it is UNSAFE to drive he then told me that they would pick the car up and get it back to me this afternoon.that’s not going to happen I’ve told them I want my money back if it’s not done by end of play to day I’ve recorded him saying that the money will be given back too me today I’ll wait and see but if I was you stay away from this place

Unprepared car and disappointing customer service

I was not allowed to have a drive test (due to COVID?) and on my way home I have been hearing unfamiliar noise in the car, which worried me. Clutch pedal was very squeaky and didn’t return back easily, which was dangerous. Also, my husband from another car on motorway saw parts of exhaust shaking and rattling underneath the car. I was very disappointed and worried by the whole experience. On arrival we have checked the tires, and some were overinflated (36 psi) while other underinflated (18 psi) in a not-symmetric pattern. That's how I was driving home on motorway. I tried to inflate tires and found out, that the lighter socket in not working. Is it a way car should be sold from a garage?
I also have found out on coming home, that the access on the warranty is 100 pounds, but I was not told about it before the purchase.
On the following day 22/09/2020, on my way from work to home an engine warning sigh came up on the dashboard. I decided to carry out a "Safety check" in my local garage, as it was not clear, whether it was safe for me and others to use the car. The list of faults they have found is really impressive and sums up to over £700! I also contacted Kent Motoring World for the advise. Kent Motoring World said that I need to bring the car to their garage. I express to him my concerns about driving on motorway with the engine sigh lit up on the dashboard. The mechanic said that I need to contact the sails office if the car needs towing by a recovery car. It was never done.
I was really frustrated because of the whole situation, as it could have been dangerous to drive on motorway with warning sigh on. I work five days a week providing a care to a lady with multiple sclerosis.
Even with my lack of mechanical knowledge I concluded that the car has not been checked before the sale! Those issues I was not able to detect on a stationary car! The salesman told me about the six month warranty, which reassured me, that if any problems or issues with the car would occur, KMW will take care of it. That is why I was happy to buy the car without the test drive on the 19/10/2020. However, it was explained that the warranty covers only mechanical faults and any works should be authorised by KMW, which they were reluctant to do.
After my complains Kent Motoring World insisting on me bringing the car to the garage to sort thinks out (despite my concerns about my and other people's safety as I had an engine sign lit up on the dashboard). On 29/09/2020 MOT was redone and had advisories for brake pads and a tyre.

The fuse for the power/lighter socket, was replaced, but nothing was done about other faults found right after sail.
In conclusion I would summarise the following:
1. I would not have bought the car if I would be able to have a
drive-test at the fist place, because of the constant noise and squeaky clutch.
2.I would not have bought the car with the advisories on MOT until they were sorted out.
3.The car was not properly checked before sail, which made the first journey dangerous.
4.Customer service was ignoring my letters and plea for help, doing as little as possible. They are not interested in returning customers or positive feedback.
