How come I haven't heard about this card before?

From the initial visit to the website to my purchase and activating my card, Kinect have been very helpful, even the time when I was struggling to load the links to my online platforms - one of their customer agents did it for me! Using the card when I'm out and about has been simplicity itself, and it's allowed me to lock in new contacts and direct them to the platforms where I want to send them. And all for just £15 upwards! It's very worth the money and I would recommend to anybody who wants to connect fully with people when out and about.

The customer service from the team at Kinect was second to none. They were extremely helpful when I made an incorrect purchase and rectified my mistake within minutes! The product looks fantastic and I am looking forward to putting in to good use! Would highly recommend!

To be improved a lot

The banner for redirecting to the Kinect site is too large and since this is a paid service should not even be visible. No way to modify the background colour and switch on/off the icons of social midis you don’t use. Not great product.

I just want to clarify that you are actually on our free app version, not our paid software. With the product being a one off and free software, we do have the banner to obviously gain more website traffic.

If you do wish to upgrade your product to our paid for version, please contact us on hello@kinectcard.com and we can discuss our enterprise software with you.

The enterprise software does allow for the features you request such as onscreen branding, the removal of Kinect Card advertising & dynamic profiles. I suspect this software choice is more tailored to your needs.

Take the plunge!

It's been on my mind for a long time to get a virtual business card, as it is cumbersome to keep carrying hard copies with me to events.

A colleague recommended Kinect Card to me, so I looked into them and their offering and I was very impressed.

I started designing my own virtual business card mainly out of curiosity about how it might look, ended up being quite impressed by it and decided to take the plunge.

The Kinect Team were incredibly supportive and helpful. They produced the card to my specifications and helped me with things like setting up my online profile, formatting images that I had pre-prepared to be added to that profile and fine-tuning the business card so that it looked the best it could.

The result is a business card that has received a lot of compliments and is much easier for me to carry in my wallet, rather than putting a lot of business cards in my pocket.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kinect Card to others and, as a result of my taking the plunge, several of my contacts and even businesses that I have worked with are looking into working with Kinect Card as well.

Pretty BUT terrible EXPERIENCE

The card is beautiful -- the graphics person was great BUT...
The QR code on the back of the card started to peel off after about a month. Then it finally RIPPED.

(Since most people don't seem to have their phones set up correctly, I had to rely on the QR code so this made the card useless)

THEN, when I contacted Kinect I was told that my card was unique in this problem BUT they had started laser engraving QR codes (sure, you added that expensive new feature for no reason --don't LIE to your customers!!! We aren't stupid)

I was told I could send my card back-- no offer to pay for postage, and no address provided to send it to.

When I asked for an address, I received this response:
"It is on the bottom of our website, but to confirm please see below:"

So, *I* am supposed to search your website, provide packaging, go to post office and WAIT for my card to be updated with functioning version of what I already paid for????

NO I won't. What they SHOULD have done was be honest and fix it:

'No problem, Barbara, we've had a few of these so we've improved our product. A new one will be sent to you within (some number less than 5) working days. If you haven't received your card within 10 working days, please contact us again.'

Ironically, they have a CRM -- clearly they don't understand what that is used for...CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

Hi Barbara, Many thanks for taking your time to review your experience, we are very disappointed to hear you feel this way and you are the first non 5 star review we have received.

We understand you had a defective product and we still want to replace the card for you, the issue is You will not return the card to us, which leads me to believe you have lost it. returning a product to a merchant is standard practice before replacements are issued, as I am sure you will be aware considering the nature of your business at Luna Customer Experience.

I am unsure how you feel we are lying to our customers with laser engraving, this service was recently launched and we want to apply the service to your replacement card. It does not carry an additional cost, not sure where you have read that?

We simply asked for you to return the card to us, so we can understand why the product has become defective, identify how the issue has come to light to further improve our quality standards.

The seemingly impossible search for our address (which is on the footer of every page online btw, was also sent to you in an email from one of our online agents.

A replacement card can be dispatched upon the returned item as and when you feel like it.

Sadly, I feel that your business services as a customer experience 'Guru' has almost been twisted here into a poor tout for business and has frankly come across a little distasteful in my personal opinion.

That being said and opinions aside, we are still happy to replace the card for free and credit any shipping costs involved,
