We had the funeral there for my mum. We had been to a funeral before there and found it to be very respectful and endearing so we decided that’s what we wanted for mum. Everything went really well under the circumstances which left us feeling more at ease. All the staff showed such an amazing amount of attention to detail and family and friends were very impressed by it all. We would highly recommend Kirkleatham to anyone. Thank you so much for making a very sad occasion more pleasing.

From the minute I first contacted them they were absolutely brilliant. So caring and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service and would highly recommend them.

The crematorium is beautifully presented. The service was lovely, relaxed and unrushed. And the staff kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

I would just like to say Thankyou to graham from roseberry funeral services and all staff at the crematorium for all your support especially for my late husbands children nothing was too much trouble even letting them look round to familiarise themselves with your place due to there disabilities to try and ease the stress for them on the day of their dad’s funeral and also for helping us to carry out my late husbands wishes by having only the people he wanted there it made a very very difficult time a little more bearable would definitely recommend both teams to everyone Thankyou so much x

I recently attended my cousins funeral and my family and I could not have asked for a better send off.
The crematorium and grounds are so beautiful and peaceful, the staff are also helpful and accommodating and were lovely to deal with when setting up our visual tribute, nothing was too much trouble.
I would not hesitate to recommend this crematorium.

If you expect a caring, compassionate service at such a sad time, do not use Kirkleatham Crematorium. My uncles funeral took place without a single member of his family being present, due to their staff, particularly the Assistant Manager. Family members attended the funeral hoping to pay respects to their brother. They were greeted by rude, hard faced staff, and were dealt with in the most inhumane way, despite it being such an emotional time for them. Teach your staff some manners and respect, as their treatment of the public is inexcusable. One star is way more than you deserve. Use a different company!

Everybody was really helpful and empathetic when we went to look round before choosing this crematorium. There really was no decision to make. It is in a beautiful setting, there is no rush to get in and out, the facilities are fabulous; clean and tidy, and the peace and tranquility are second to none.
My only slight concern, although I was not aware of it at the time, was that funeral 'guests' were allowed in before my husband's coffin arrived and allowed to take their seats wherever they liked. I was told there was a sign that requested the first 2 rows on each side be left clear for family, but unfortunately this was not done, and, because the service started early, my husband's sons, who arrived on time, couldn't find seats at the front. Maybe, there should be an 'usher', provided by the crematorium, who ensures the seats are saved and that priority is given to immediate family of the bereaved.
Otherwise, it was all beautifully done and I couldn't have asked for a better place to say goodbye to my darling husband.

The surrounding grounds make for a very peaceful environment and are kept in tip top condition thanks to the hard work carried out by the staff.The chapel ambience is one of serenity and calm helping to make an extremely stressful time for the relatives of the deceased as pleasant ad possible. As resident organist I have found the staff at all times to be most welcoming,helpful and supportive.I enjoy playing at the crematorium and most certainly feel like one of the team.

First class service in every way. I cannot praise them highly enough.

The staff at Kirkleatham Memorial Park are friendly, professional and compassionate to families needs at all times.

Everyone who works at Kirkleatham are so lovely, they cant do enough to help. The chapel is immaculate and is more contemporary in design with carpet and loose chairs making it feel more like a living room space and less austere.
The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is plenty of parking.

Services are managed well such that each cortege leaves well before the next arrives making the allotted time feel much more personal.

We had excellent service from Kirkleatham crematorium which made a very difficult time much more bearable. Gill was always courteous, genuine and kind. We particularly appreciated her patience in dealing with instructions from both the UK and New Zealand,which must have got confusing at times given the 12 hour time difference. The flexibility of the service provided allowed us to organise a bespoke, unhurried service with relatives abroad able to watch via webcast. We were even able to include music played by our niece in New Zealand to be recorded and incorporated into the service. The video tribute was lovely and we were able to purchase a copy of this to rewatch later, along with a recording of the service.

It was a lovely service from kath the celebrant and Julee the funeral director who was brilliant! I couldn’t have asked for better
