I've had both the buying and selling experience through Suzy. As a buyer 5 years ago she's friendly, welcoming and has integrity - you know your offer will be fairly communicated to the seller. As a seller this year, Suzy & Hazel are a great team. Fair market advice and reasoning from Suzy. Communication is constant, she will really push to work out the status of the chain. You really get a genuine feeling with Suzy that she's as invested in the process as you. Her reputation precedes her and my experience this autumn shows it's richly deserved.

We had our heart on highly sought-after neighbourhood which seldom have properties coming onto the market. Suzy was great in fitting us into a packed viewing schedule and gave us honest and practical advice which led to a successful purchase of our dream home. A special shoutout to her team, particularly Hazel, who did not hesitate to drive out to my new home at the drop of a hat to assist me. Suzy and her team are responsive to emails and can be reached on phones easily - this certainly made the whole buying journey a great deal smoother and anxious-free!

Asked Suzy to help after the High Street agents had failed to sell the property after 3 years of trying. She found the buyer on the first viewing and handled the technical side of move efficiently and without undue fuss. She has a very personal approach, doesn’t arrange viewings just for the sake of appearing busy and is very conscientious. Not the cheapest option but worth the extra. Highly recommended

We bought our property through Kirkwood's and found the whole experience very good. Suzy's personal touch is a real plus point to the stressful house purchase process, she was always on hand for questions/queries and kept the process moving along. We would not hesitate to call on her in the future, albeit we hope that is a long way away!!

Suzy has been great with our property sale. We initially choose Suzy after meeting her when we were purchasing and were really impressed with the help she offered. Now as a seller Suzy has given us a really personalised service - from bringing items to help stage the house to access to a network of local trades people to make small home improvements to maxamise our sale potential. After agreeing to a sale Suzy has been relentless in chasing the rest of the chain and our solicitors to make the exchange a smooth and as efficent as possible for us.

Suzy has gone above and beyond with a very difficult sale for her, due to the sellers (our mother in law) being a older lady who is not good with stress every thing that has happened suzy has been right on hand. I can not recommend her enough.

It is common knowledge that selling your home and moving house is counted as one of the most stressful experiences of modern life. It stands to reason therefore, that you need an estate agent that can be trusted.
My husband and I had decided to relocate from Maidenhead to be nearer to my parents in the Cotswolds. We had also decided that we were not going to be stressed about it, but it was going to be an adventure.
Suzy Kirkwood was friendly and professional. She valued and marketed our home with efficiency and showed absolute respect to us as clients. She never phoned during my working hours, instead leaving messages by email or text that we could deal with later. The buying and selling process was explained clearly and I always knew that I could contact her with any questions.
Suzy also explained that sometimes clients change their minds…I confidently assured her that wouldn’t be us. I couldn’t imagine starting on this process without seeing it through.
After two months on the market, a price reduction and two offers, we had seen over twenty properties in the area near my parents. The magic bullet of selling in the south-east to move anywhere in the UK was not as magic as we had hoped in the Cotswolds…
None of the houses we viewed were as spacious as our current home. If they were, they were too far out from my parents. We toured the villages and the outskirts of the town where they live and grew increasingly anxious. The adventure was proving to be more of an emotional rollercoaster than we had bargained for. We didn’t actually want to live in any of the houses which our budget afforded us. It looked like we were going to be one of those sheepish clients who withdrew their property from the market.
Having decided that it wasn’t meant to be, we needed to contact Kirkwoods. Instead of the stereotype of an estate agent pushing us to change our minds, Suzy was the absolute opposite. She was empathetic, kind and compassionate. She showed us courtesy and understanding and didn’t once try to change our minds. She acknowledged how emotional it is to move house and recognised that to change area is even harder because of the leaving behind of a community.
Suzy assured us of her help should we decide in the future that we want to have another go.
For now, we have learnt to be grateful for what we have and reinvest our energies in the home we have been in for over twenty years.
I cannot fault Suzy’s help, communication or conduct. It is good to know that her agency is one which is reliable, professional and compassionate.

We purchased our house through Suzy Kirkwood. She was absolutely amazing. She regularly kept in touch and would be available 7 days a week before and after office hours. During our purchase there were a few difficulties with the chain and all the other estate agents involved had simply given up but not Suzy!
