About KISA At KISA, we believe everyone deserves to stay connected with their loved ones, simply and safely. We are a proudly Australian-owned and operated company based in Cheltenham, Victoria, dedicated to creating easy-to-use mobile phones. Our phones are designed from the ground up for individuals who find modern smartphones overwhelming, particularly seniors and those living with dementia, low vision, or other disabilities. What makes a KISA Phone different? There are no complicated screens, apps, or confusing menus. Instead, a KISA Phone is personalised for its user, featuring large, tactile buttons with the names and even photos of pre-programmed contacts. It’s a mobile phone reduced to its most essential purpose: making calls to the people who matter most. Our dedicated support team is based right here in Cheltenham. When you call us, you'll speak with a local team member who is ready to help. Your feedback on Trustpilot is incredibly important to us. It helps us understand what we're doing right and where we can improve our service. Thank you for considering KISA to help keep your family connected.

We are still very disappointed in the battery life of my husband's phone. I appreciate that we may not have the best service here and that we are using an Aldi sim card but charge does not hold nearly as long as other mobile phones we have and use similarly.
The idea for the phone is great but sad that we have to charge it every day.
The only other problem is pocket dialling even though it is in a hard case and set to require to be pushed twice to ring. The keypad is much too sensitive for the average person who needs this type of device.

The phone looks and feels like a toy

The phone looks and feels like a toy.
The GPS tracking at best is slow.
You can’t send messages on the phone or have alerts/reminder messages appear.
The emergency call goes off at least daily - so you never actually know when there an emergency happening.
I feels it’s very expensive and am shopping around for something more suitable for our needs.

I purchased the KISA phone for my 93 year old father in law. this was after the nursing home he is in could no longer provide a landline for his room.
He has never used a mobile phone in his life.
Please put the volume buttons elsewhere so he isn't continuously turning the volume down. He lacks dexterity and can't get the grip right.
Please put a port in the phone so we can plug a normal phone handset into it. this he is familiar with. then the mobile doesn't need to be taken out of the charging cradle. A simple on/off switch in the handset is all that is needed. Simple.
Just an idea. Would make an old mans life much simpler. this phone has a future within the disabled, elderly community.

Charging problems

I have had continual trouble charging the phone and I have found I need to take out the battery and reinsert it. It also needs to sit in the charger a particular way or it will not charge

I bought a Kisa Phone for my husband when he went into Residential Aged Care. It has been the perfect solution for us all to be in constant touch with each other plus allowing him to also keep in contact with special friends. It is easy to use and has been a godsend for us.

Rescued my mother from the isolation of old age

I recommend KISAphone to everyone! The founders saw a need and fulfilled it perfectly. My mother is finally able to communicate with the world outside her high care nursing home room. I was Googling for a phone she could use, but nothing was suitable for a person with almost no sight, and shaking hands, and then I stumbled upon KISAphone. She and our family are very grateful.

Fantantastic service and ease of use

I found my whole experience with KISA, for my mother who has dementia, to be professional, easy and with attention to detail.
I appreciated from when I first approached KISA and every time I have made contact, I have spoken to someone here in Australia who was able to assist me quickly and professionally without any dramas... something that doesn't always happen with phone companies!
My mother appreciates how easy it is to use and has embraced it well. She has had many comments from other residents where she lives and I have recommended it to many people as it is so easy to use for people with any kind of neurological disability. My mother and I have been very happy.

I'm writing this on behalf of my father who recently had a stroke. The KISA Phone is extremely user friendly and it has made communicating with Family and friends possible again. A basic mobile phone was to complicated for him to operate, so the KISA Phone was the perfect choice. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this for him. The simplicity of the phone is excellent. Thank you,
Bryan Pym and Family.
