Kisa phone experience

I purchased this phone for my intellectually handicapped daughter. The phone does not cause her any problems as she can make and receive calls without any difficulty whatsoever. She goes out with a carer and they can change from week to week with different phone numbers for contact. Changing the numbers is easy for me and I am not strong with modern technology.
No complaints at all.

I would highly recommend Kisa phone

I would highly recommend Kisa phone, I'm 79 years young and suffer with Dementia, I use the Kisa phone when I'm out with organised groups or family. I feel at ease with my phone to call family. Loved ones can also call me. My wife is happier knowing I have it and that it is simple for me to use. Prior to the Kisa I had tried using a mobile phone without success. The Kisa is right for me I love it.

Good phone and good support

We have had good experience with my daughter's KISA phone. We had a bit of trouble at the beginning but the customer service officer at KISA helped us fix the problem. My daughter has a disability and the phone works for her and gives her more independence.

Although not using it as much as I had thought, it is great knowing that it can be taken anywhere when I most need help. I find it too difficult to remember what to do with an ordinary mobile phone, so this is simply perfect for my needs.

My husband has had a stoke and this phone is perfect for him. I have talked to all my friends about the success at finally finding something that works really well. Keep up the good work. I hope others see the value of having an easy to operate phone. Thank you for developing the technology. My husband can now call me when he wants and not get confused with all the complications of the regular phones.

From start to finish great assistance and communications It give me peace of mind for my husband who does still have some problems using it but that is managable most of the time.
I have shown this phone to Dr/Physio etc all impressed some taken photo. Only down is for me is Telstra still have not removed the answering service after visits (250Klm round trip).
One problem I do have is the emergency button - why press 4 times instead of 3 (like OOO) ? and where does that call go to please

We ordered the KISA for my father who is computer illiterate and up to now has refused to have a mobile phone. My father loves his phone. It was easy to source and set up the phone numbers. He is showing it off to anyone he can. We just need to sort out a cover as he keep pocket calling us.

Useful invention

The phone was very important for my partner as he was able to contact those near & dear to him.
Only problem was when the nurses saw the phone they were intrigued and if they pick it up to inspect it they seemed to touch the middle of the phone which sent a call to his daughter whose contact was in this area. she was being called several times a day.

KISA Phone a lifesaver for my 99 yr old mother!

I was worried my elderly mother would not be able to cope with the technology of using a mobile phone, so the KISA phone has been an absolute Godsend, as she doesn't have to remember phone numbers or how to use the phone, she simply has to ''push the photo of my face or my brothers to be able to reach us instantly!
I purchased the KISA phone for my 99 yr old mother for 2 reasons, she was getting the NBN put on and I didn't want to risk her being without a phone as I had heard stories of people's phones dropping out, and she has a hearing problem. Now she knows she just has to push the green button a second time and the volume increases. I couldn't be happier with the KISA phone, it is an absolute lifesaver and I recommend it to anyone with a sight or hearing problem, or simply because they find modern technology difficult.

perfect for mother moving into aged care

purchased for mother moving into aged care having experienced the KISA phone with my ABI (disabled) friend Phil. It is a brilliant concept. It is light (and tough - no case needed) so easy keep on a lanyard around her neck and always be with her both in and out of her room. It is very easy to use - as well as all her children's numbers I left some spare buttons which I numbered 1 2 3 4 and assign these remotely to changing numbers (eg specialist) that Mum needs. Another feature is the adjustable time before it hangs up - previously Mum would leave a standard phone off the hook and we couldnt get in touch with her!. It goes in the charging stand every night and thats all that is needed and the $40 per month talk all you want keeps it simple...plus simple to order online and deliver to the aged care facility. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Full marks to Kisa and their staff

In our situation the Kisa phone works very well and gives my husband lots of confidence when needed. I have told many people about this product and how happy we are with it. The company and staff have also been very helpful to help me when ever I have needed it.

The phone is a godsend for someone with…

The phone is a godsend for someone with awkward hands or unable to read.
I would, however, like to be able to extend the period of time the phone rings, so our awkward and slow nursing home resident has more time to answer it. I don't know how to extend the ring time and as far as I can see instructions are not provided. This person also has trouble fitting the phone back in the charging cradle.
When the phone is being returned to the cradle, the user often puts his fingers over one of the call buttons and inadvertently makes a call. I think the phone needs to be a bit bigger in order to make this less likely to happen.

Kisa works well in United States

The Kisa phone has been awesome for my 95 year old mother, who has some dementia and is almost totally blind. The phone works great. Kisa should let customers know that the phone works well in the United States. The U.S carriers don’t seem to know and I almost didn’t buy the phone for this reason.
