About KISA At KISA, we believe everyone deserves to stay connected with their loved ones, simply and safely. We are a proudly Australian-owned and operated company based in Cheltenham, Victoria, dedicated to creating easy-to-use mobile phones. Our phones are designed from the ground up for individuals who find modern smartphones overwhelming, particularly seniors and those living with dementia, low vision, or other disabilities. What makes a KISA Phone different? There are no complicated screens, apps, or confusing menus. Instead, a KISA Phone is personalised for its user, featuring large, tactile buttons with the names and even photos of pre-programmed contacts. It’s a mobile phone reduced to its most essential purpose: making calls to the people who matter most. Our dedicated support team is based right here in Cheltenham. When you call us, you'll speak with a local team member who is ready to help. Your feedback on Trustpilot is incredibly important to us. It helps us understand what we're doing right and where we can improve our service. Thank you for considering KISA to help keep your family connected.

The KISA phone my daughter has used for a couple of years is invaluable. Any other phone would be beyond her ability, but her Kissa phone is simple and reliable, and has given her significant independence. She has become competent with public transport which is a very significant aspect of her independence, and this would not be possible without her phone. Eventually her first phone failed (it had a hard life), but the replacement cost was very modest we thought, and the support was excellent.
Perfect for my autistic brother
Perfect for my autistic brother. The process of ordering and customizing was fantastic. Daniel is so happy as he feels connected to
Everyone. Thank you for your hard work!
Good concept
Good concept, however very rigid structure for flexibility for change. KISA needs to be a lot more customer friendly in terms of its products and customer experience
Brilliant technology
This phone enabled my 90 year old father to have communication with everyone important. It was a brilliant piece of technology. Thank you so much!!!
I have recommended it to everyone I know.

We think the phone is great.with 2 exceptions:
We would love the opportunity to add a couple of extra numbers
A little expensive
I think the phone is great
I think the phone is great. I got it for my husband who has had multiple strokes and consequently worsening dementia. He is not using it at present but he will be when we caravan across Australia.I have shown it to quite a lot of people who are interested especially for the gps.
So far it has worked well
So far it has worked well. The only difficulty is that with only a few numbers on the dial pad you need to touch the side of the number rather than the middle for it to ring. This is somewhat counter-intuitive. I'm not sure my elderly mother in a crisis would remember to touch the side rather than the middle and might panic. It might be better to redesign it so that when there are only a few numbers it is pressing the middle that makes it ring.

We bought this phone for our 86yr old mum. She had a home phone which she was always having trouble with. This phone is so good for her. Just having to press one button with our name on is so much easier for her. Also it is always hung up properly and always charging. When we ring her we just tell her to press the green button again and then she is on speaker phone as she is a bit deaf. It's so much easier for her.
Would recommend for anyone.
A useful phone for the digitally inept
Overall the phone has been useful, but there have been some issues. If the phone is not answered the caller receives a message telling him/her to leave a message or send a text, neither of which the Kisa can accept.
It can be difficult to retrieve the phone quickly from its case particularly when the lanyard is attached.
We had some problems with reception in our rural area-Telstra was very poor, but fortunately Vodaphone is much better.
We are still getting used to the funny noises the phone makes when dialling, hanging up+charging.
The staff have been most helpful+easy to talk to when sorting out these problems.
Great phone for elderly or disabled
This phone is perfect for anybody with a cognitive or physical condition. Very simple to use and keeps them connected with family. Stays charged for days and using the lanyard means it’s always with within reach.
Highly recommended
Bought this for my Mum
Bought this for my Mum who is now in residential care and could not use a typical mobile phone due to dementia. She is ok with ringing out to each of the five names on her phone but unfortunately simply cannot grasp how to deal with an incoming call. As soon as she receives a call she presses my name at the top of the phone list, thereby cancelling the incoming call and ringing me. I have tried explaining to her many times how to answer an incoming call but it simply does not sink in.
Beautifully simple
Beautifully simple, fit for purpose phone. An excellent aid for people with access dificulties
I bought the Kisa phone for my 99 year old mum
I bought the Kisa phone for my 99 year old mum as she felt isolated in her aged care home and was unable to manage a normal mobile phone, she is very happy with it and loves to just use the names to call family members. She can manage to increase the volume when she has difficulty hearing.I now have her on a $40 unlimited calls which was suggested by the very helpful team at Kisa which is great and she no longer feels isolated from friends and family.
Great phone
Great phone, no problem so far but sometimes the sound isn't as clear as a cellular!
Getting the word out!
I have shared this phone idea with many people working in the Aged Care industry who had no idea it existed. Just fabulous. My Mum has Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia and is now in a home. The main difficulty she has with it is recharging. But green for go and red for stop gives moderate success with calls, despite her challenges. And I encourage staff to put it back on the recharge cradle. Can wholeheartedly recommend!!
A wonderful concept
The simple concept of this phone has restored the ability of the owner to communicate with friends and loved ones. She often doesn’t think to use the keyed in numbers to call people to chat. But she has rung when she has had a problem or felt unwell. The main benefit has been that she is able to use the simple controls to answer calls when people ring for a chat. Initially she had problems because she would switch the phone off so as not to disturb other residents in the night and then forget to put it back on in the morning but she has now got used to leaving it on. KISA have been very prompt and pleasant in their service and the phone has been reliable.

Purchasing the handset with our preferred layout was easy. KISA phoned to provide advice on setting up our PAYG plan which was valuable. The handset was easy to activate and has been reliable. Questions were answered promptly and the service has been a great asset.

My daughter likes the independence a kisa phone gives her and I like the security of being able to limit who she can call and that no one else can add a number
That said it would be great if she had the freedom to use text or known whose call she had missed

This phone has been a godsend for my family they can now go out knowing I have my Kisa phone next to me
I have given the Kisa details to friends who have also health problems and need support .
The one I care for changed to KISA from a "smart" phone.
The one I care for changed to KISA from a so-called "smart" phone. She is content to be limited to ringing only the limited number of contacts, finds answering a call quite straightforward and can set the phone on speaker without problems. We once used hand held CB radios for her to contact me when I was outside or in my "back room". Now she initiates a call to me from her KISA then hangs up. I respond appropriately when my phone rings for a few seconds only, otherwise should the ringing continue I know it's an outside call.
