About KISA At KISA, we believe everyone deserves to stay connected with their loved ones, simply and safely. We are a proudly Australian-owned and operated company based in Cheltenham, Victoria, dedicated to creating easy-to-use mobile phones. Our phones are designed from the ground up for individuals who find modern smartphones overwhelming, particularly seniors and those living with dementia, low vision, or other disabilities. What makes a KISA Phone different? There are no complicated screens, apps, or confusing menus. Instead, a KISA Phone is personalised for its user, featuring large, tactile buttons with the names and even photos of pre-programmed contacts. It’s a mobile phone reduced to its most essential purpose: making calls to the people who matter most. Our dedicated support team is based right here in Cheltenham. When you call us, you'll speak with a local team member who is ready to help. Your feedback on Trustpilot is incredibly important to us. It helps us understand what we're doing right and where we can improve our service. Thank you for considering KISA to help keep your family connected.

so easy to learn to use
The Kisa phone was a perfect choice for dear old Dad.
The Kisa phone was a perfect choice for my 92 yo father. The simplicity and ease of use was a lifesaver for him. We chose a white phone with names printed in black type. Dad is still mentally capable but his gnarled old fingers and failing eyesight made using his supposedly ‘big button’ Telstra phone more difficult, and nearing impossible. Dad can now easily push the extremely large, well spaced buttons on his Kisa phone to speak to family. The only slight problem we have is with the phone cover (purchased for an extra $20). The buttons can be pressed accidentally and make a call if pressure is placed evenly on the cover.....which my father does frequently as he insists on placing the phone in his trouser hip pocket! When he sits down or bends over he randomly phones one of his contacts. We are working on a solution by somehow reinforcing the the cover with a buffer of sorts around the edge to hold the cover further away from the phone front. It is Dad’s fault because of the way he carries the phone not Kisa’s and we will work it out shortly.
Otherwise, I recommend this brilliant phone for anyone who needs simplicity in use of a phone. It certainly has given all of our family a sense of confidence that Dad will be able to use it as he gets older, even when we need to change the names to faces in the coming years. Brilliant product and awesome company to deal with.
Fantastic solution for the elderly
Fantastic solution for the elderly. My 88 year old mum loves it & it's very liable. Thank you!
We purchased a Kisa phone for my brother
We purchased a Kisa phone for my brother Ray. He had an intellectual disability. The KISA phone empowered him to become independent. He put this phone around his neck and just became part of him. He had photo tiles of all 8 siblings & a best friend on his phone, all he had to do was press the photo tile to call and keep in touch. This made for all us to know Ray was happy, sad, what was going on in his life, he always rung everyday - sometimes a few times in the day. I would recommend this phone, it was Rays lifeline!
Ray had been put into independent living units all brand new, in regional NSW - but an overlook, phone cables for home phones were not even thought of?!! We could not keep in touch with him, Ray was becoming sad and depressed, so I sourced the great KISA phone. What a great tool.
Sadly Ray passed recently and he has his very loved KISA phone around his neck, where it was always from the minute he got up til the time he went to bed. We are missing his calls.
Life without KISA would be much harder
Without the KISA phone and the wonderful support I have had from the KISA team I would not have been able to communicate with my husband as much as I have been able to do since he moved into Residential Care just over 2 years ago.
My husband has Dementia and is unable to use even the simplest mobile phone but with KISA and just 5 names to chose from he is able to speak regularly to the people who are closest to him.

Love the phone it was Been a huge help with my frozen shoulder and the ability of easy access to numbers I require.
Just a couple of questions firstly how can I change the directory there is a couple of numbers I don’t necessarily need and would like to change to more frequent numbers and secondly how do I get the earphones replaced and the charger is that an area that you can help me with?
If so would you be able to supply this for me and send through the charge and I will have him delivered to my address.
Thank you it’s a wonderful device for a person of my own and my disabilities I appreciate the service.

This is an excellent product and solves the difficulty that senior people face when using mobiles. Newer devices are overly complex and for many become to difficult to use and an inability to tune off / simplify the phones functions to cater for senior users.
The only suggestion I would make is that the volume be loader and/or the base station also have a speaker function including a load ringer.

We purchased the Kisa phone for my…
We purchased the Kisa phone for my father when he entered aged care, he has early dementia. We had tried an iPhone once before and it just didn’t get used. It was really important for him to be able to stay in contact with family and friends, it was a quick way of keeping him in contact.
There were a few things that I felt were trivialized about ordering it, not till we had actually ordered it did we find out and then that was too late. I would recommend making sure you understand changing names is not as easy as it sounds. You need to purchase a new front! Also for hearing aids it will only sync with android hearing aids, his are iPhone compatible.
The phone is very simple, he still had challenges but that was the dementia. Over time he is getting better, beware there can be reception problems in an aged care facility.
Ron managed to turn the volume down to nothing, the Kisa staff were really helpful and made the phone always on full volume through the computer side of things.
I think it is the best phone for aged people, but can be improved! I would recommend
After my Father-in-law with dementia…
After my Father-in-law with dementia lost several expensive smart phones, or locked them out forever, finding the KISA was a godsend. He’s been happily using it for months and hasn’t lost it, and no more confusion caused by unnecessary smart phone complication. Plus when we had a problem with the phone, KISA’s support was fast and helpful.
Very good phone for seniors
Great product and service from this company
The setup of the phone is great, however overall disappointed
The setup of the phone is great with the limited amount of contacts and the information provided on the back. However we’ve found the buttons to be too sensitive, resulting in a lot of pocket calling despite whether my husband actually has the phone on him or in a bag. Also the phone charge is only lasting 2 to 3 days and this is when there has been no usage. I’ve only accessed the tracking via website and found not to be user friendly
KISA has made life easier for all
I swear KISA has added another year to my elderly mother's life. She was very hard to contact being unable to reach her landline and was confused by her old mobile phone. We got her the KISA and it has been brilliant! Family can call from across the globe and mum loves that she pushes one button and is connected to family easily. It took a while to work out the different noises KISA makes and you MUST keep it charged otherwise it thinks the owner has had a fall and calls emergency. An absolutely brilliant device that should be standard issue at all nursing homes. Thank you.
KIZA phone
My husband has arthritic fingers and finds it hard to pick up without constantly dialling emergency, consequently he prefers not to use it.
The idea is good and I am sure that the phone will benefit others. He is rarely left alone and at 92yrs old and advanced Alzheimers he is not able to manage anything new.
Excellent service and quick delivery
Excellent service and quick delivery. Has made my Mum’s life better being able to easily contact us.

Easiest phone for Dementia patients to use. My husband could not manage any other phone but uses this one easily. I have also shown it to lady from BlueCare who was extremely impressed by it and was taking a photo of it back to base to show the other staff. Excellent idea and glad I found this phone.

General thoughts and feedback
Easy to use and charge. Loudspeaker function useful, as well as the signal and battery strength facility. I found one of the named call buttons difficult to press (others were all OK). Would be useful to have an indication of missed calls (on the back of phone??) Also the red finished call button could be a little bigger.
