About KISA At KISA, we believe everyone deserves to stay connected with their loved ones, simply and safely. We are a proudly Australian-owned and operated company based in Cheltenham, Victoria, dedicated to creating easy-to-use mobile phones. Our phones are designed from the ground up for individuals who find modern smartphones overwhelming, particularly seniors and those living with dementia, low vision, or other disabilities. What makes a KISA Phone different? There are no complicated screens, apps, or confusing menus. Instead, a KISA Phone is personalised for its user, featuring large, tactile buttons with the names and even photos of pre-programmed contacts. It’s a mobile phone reduced to its most essential purpose: making calls to the people who matter most. Our dedicated support team is based right here in Cheltenham. When you call us, you'll speak with a local team member who is ready to help. Your feedback on Trustpilot is incredibly important to us. It helps us understand what we're doing right and where we can improve our service. Thank you for considering KISA to help keep your family connected.

KISA no good for dementia users.

I bought the KISA phone for my Dad aged 92 who has dementia however he has not been able to use it properly. He can make calls to us but cannot receive calls as he cannot learn to press the answer button when he has been used to just picking up the handpiece to answer the phone. It would have been much better to have the lights flashing on the answer button when a call comes in rather than flashing in the centre. He has also found the volume a problem. We have turned it up to full but he still has trouble hearing us even though his hearing is excellent. There is no way he could learn to double click the answer button to enable loudspeaker. We have therefore had to supply a landline for taking calls and on the odd occasion he rings one of us on the KISA. Having the lights flashing on the answer button or flashing on the name of the person ringing would be much better for anyone with dementia. Something for you to consider.

I bought this phone for my 93yo Mum as sometimes her landline doesn't work and mum won't use a mobile phone. But this phone she will use and it is peace of mind for all the family as she loves to go walking and now we know she can ring us while she is out. Love the ease of use. This should be advertised in Doctors waiting rooms. Thank you again.

Ease of use and peace of mind.

Hi all, I purchased a KISA phone for my 83 year old mother, Out of necessity and ease of lifestyle. This product has indeed made a difference to her life. With the simple use she is now able to contact and be contacted with little to no issues. I also purchased the tracking, this has made me have peace of mind knowing where she is at all times until I finish work and at home with her. I recommend the product to all those that need a phone without the bells and whistles.

I am responding on behalf of Bruce. The KISA phone is wonderful! Dad (Bruce) has dementia but he manages to be able to use his phone to keep in touch with us all. The simplicity of using the phone means he is still able to understand how to use it. When the aged care home he was in went into lockdown for 3.5 weeks it was his only way of having social contact! Thank you

Great solution for father with dementia

We were at our wits end in finding Dad a phone that he could use. Dad has dementia and although his ability to operate a phone had become problematic his desire to remain in touch with key friends and family was still very important. THe KISA phone became a lifeline. We were able to port his existing phone number and design the phone to respond to his individual needs. The knoweldge that his name and address was on the reverse gave us peace of mind.
Highly recommend this product.

A great phone but could it be improved?

We bought a KISA phone for our mother who suffers from dementia. We visit her in her care home as often as possible but we live some three hours drive away. We felt it important to maintain contact with her on a regular basis for as long as possible.
We like the way that the screen can be tailored to our requirements and she only needs to touch a name to ring that person. Should the contactable people change, we like the way that the screen can be remanufactured to reflect these changes. Alternatively a particular person can be removed from the contact list and their name blacked out on the front screen. We initially needed help to do this and other adjustments on line but were impressed with the online support provided that really helped us out.
As our mothers dementia worsens, she is finding answering a call more difficult. The small button that she is required to press has a symbol that is obviously hard for her to interpret and can easily be confused with the hang up button. Maybe a large panel labelled “answer call” or such like would be better.
The battery life is quite good but could there be a better plug in cable connection that doesn’t require such high level motor skills.
Finally, we think a slightly larger case would be easier for users such as our mother to use. Easier to see, read the screen and pick up. She was used to an iPhone 6+!
Overall we feel that this is a great product and we are happy with our purchase and would recommend it to others.

I bought this phone for my 90 year old mum. When the NBN came in, we lost our old 'normal' phone. We tried an iPhone but she has a lot of trouble using it. There are too many steps for her to remember in order to ring someone in the contacts list. Nevertheless she can manage this sometimes. She can' t manage texting and the internet side of it is lost to her as she can't manage that either.
I tried an 'Olitech' phone as that is supposed to be simple to use. But it was even more difficult for mum to manage than getting to her contacts in the iPhone. Then I discovered the KISA phone! Sometimes it is a bit slow to 'wake up' when she rings someone, and so she thinks it is not working. But mostly she loves it as all she has to do is click on a name and it gets to that person. There are no multiple steps to have to go through. It is simple and direct. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a phone that is very simple to use. The only issue is that she cannot dial anyone who is not on the list of contacts that are written on the phone. She has to use her iPhone for that and always has to get someone to help her anyway.

Fantastic! Thank you!

Fantastic!! An elderly family member has been having increasing cognitive issues. She is no longer able to use her mobile phone and has difficulty with her landline. She lives alone and her KISA phone has been wonderful for her. She has had no difficulty using it and it has enabled her to connect with family whenever she chooses, call for help, and arrange a taxi. It has increased her confidence at home, and reduced the anxiety of family members. Thank you.

The KISA phone is almost perfect for my elderly one! It hasn't made a phone call and hopefully never will as it is for emergencies. The only fault is the battery, It needs charging every couple of days and that is hard on a ninety year old.

Wionderful

My mother has the early stages of dementia and was finding it too hard to use a regular phone Kisa has made her life, and ours, a lot easier. Being able to call as many as 10 numbers is great, and the names are very clear and legible. What a brilliant invention!

Phone works exactly as we wanted it to

Phone works exactly as we wanted it to. Just 4 people my mum can call and she was not able to use a regular phone so this is perfect. I have recommended it to friends who want to keep in touch with their family who might have issues with a standard phone.

My dad is 89 and it only took him a few lessons and he was on his way. When I bought a SIM card at my local telstra store, they asked for information on your company as they have not been able to source anything like your product. My cousin has ordered one for her mum as well. I work for a aged service provider and I would love it you could send some leaflets on your product. The address is Valmar Support Services Ltd
