Appalling scam

Kiwi.com sold me a flight that did not exist for over £300. This was an essential part of our honeymoon itinerary.

They sent me an email the same night saying the booking had failed and offering a refund, except when I clicked the link their webpage "conveniently" skipped to mean I clicked on "kiwi credit" when I had been trying to click on card refund. There was no way to go back, and not even a "confirm selection" safeguard. To top it off now the flight I needed had disappeared and all their flights to the same destination with the baggage we needed (for a three week break) had increased in price by at least 25-30% (and around £100 more than other carriers on skyscanner). To top it off, almost all flights on offer had impossible self transfer times, and no cover if you miss it.

This was obviously not a viable situation, so I tried to contact customer service. From here it was impossible to get any help, they put me through to advisors who I firmly believe were just robots stuck spouting nonsense that I had "made my choice" and couldn't go back on it now (all less than ten minutes after their own webpage error had caused the issue, and refusing to acknowledge any fault).

I needed the flights, so have now had to pay extra out of my own pocket to book the only viable option on their site as my money was irretrievably trapped in their system.

The only follow up contact I have had was someone saying they would "look into it", before disappearing into the ether and emailing me demanding a review of their "service". (Here is the review they were so keen on)

It is reliable, the app works perfectly, and always has the best prices. My last booking had the price maybe 6 dollars more than the others, but the ease of using the app and the reliability of service makes up for it. 10/10 recomend

Horrible trouble shooting experience!!!

I booked a flight with kiwi.com, and a little more than an hour later I realized I need to make changes. I went to the email they sent me regarding my flight and I opt for “manage trip in app”, downloaded their app, tried to get customer support, all those effort to no avail!

Their app where I’m supposed to be able to manage my booking to make changes with the flight that I just booked tells me that I have no flights with them! But in my email Kiwi has sent me multiple emails with my flight information with reference number.

There is a disconnect between the company and their app, and I’m left helpless!

They can keep the money!!!!
And I’ll keep the bitter lesson of never booking future flights with them ever again!!!!
