HOW TO RECOVER YOUR MONEY LOST ON…

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR MONEY LOST ON KUCOIN

If you have lost money on KuCoin or experienced issues with their payment methods involving partner companies, you need to act now. Specifically, if your funds were routed through EURLITA UAB or HARMONIIE SAS BANK, you have a strong legal basis for a FRAUD SUSPICION claim with your bank.

THE LEGAL REALITY:
HARMONIIE SAS is not a licensed bank. In Europe, using the name "BANK" without a license is a criminal violation (Search for: France Article L511-8).
EURLITA UAB operated as an unlicensed intermediary.
Under Lithuanian AML Law (Article 9), your bank was required to identify the beneficiary. If they allowed transfers to these "red flag" entities, they may be liable for WILLFUL BLINDNESS.

ACTION STEPS:

Contact your Bank: Open a formal dispute based on fraud suspicion. State that the payment rails (Eurlita/Harmoniie) are unlicensed.

Contact the FNTT (Lithuania): Report the fraud. Reference the existing investigation under Case Number: 25-5278 (Financial Crime Investigation Service).

Contact the PNF (France): Report Harmoniie SAS for the illegal use of the "Bank" designation to the Parquet National Financier.

Thievery at its Finest

KuCoin stole my money plain and simple. There's absolutely no excuse for that, it is downright despicable.

I've been a customer since around May 2021, so it's been a little over one crypto cycle. Happy with the service to begin with because KuCoin came with a lot of options, almost fun really. Then they were forced to shut down in the US where I live, I believe this was in January 2025.

I cannot blame them for shutting down in the US, but I kept some crypto with them anyways. I cannot recall what cryptocurrencies exactly and in what amounts, and unable to check because I'm locked out of my account. But my own records show that I had purchased some of KuCoin's own native cryptocurrency, KCS, which I would have logically kept on KuCoin's platform. It also goes to show that there was a time I believed in the success of KuCoin, and put my money where my mouth was by buying some of their own tokens.

I figured I could leave whatever crypto I had with KuCoin for safekeeping until the right time presented itself. Maybe one of these days KuCoin would be welcome back to the US again, or I would travel to a country that would allow me to access my KuCoin account. I wasn't too rushed to be honest, I see crypto more like a long term investment.

But then I started noticing these dormancy fees. Shame on me for letting them pile up this long when I've been noticing the emails over the last year. I guess it's more like a marginal fee that made me look the other way after a few months. But every single time I saw this automated email informing me a little more money has been taken away from me. Like a middle finger waving at me with a smile because there's nothing I can do to retrieve that money the way things stand. I am locked out of my account.

I have reached out to KuCoin support in the hopes of putting a stop to this once and for all, but it is clear to me they do not want to help. Asking me to provide them with identification documents, then a photo + video of me holding identification, only to get a failed upload message after all that wasted time.

When they finally accepted my identity documents in the form of an email response, then they wanted to charge an additional fee of 30 USDT and required proof of address beyond the ID I just provided them with. I'm telling you, the greed just doesn't stop with them. And now I have reason to suspect they want to steal my personal information as well.

Maybe it should come as no surprise why KuCoin keeps moving its headquarters around the world. First China, then Singapore, the Seychelles, and apparently Turks & Caicos Islands. They keep ripping people off. I would advise everyone to stay far far away from KuCoin. There are much better and safer options nowadays.

DO NOT USE KUCOIN!

Kucoin allow you to deposit fiat after full ID verification then hold on to your deposit. They request over the top and in depth things to do, including emailing your full financials over normal email. That is not secure. They held onto my thousands of money for 4 days without notice. I have pushed them for a refund and will update. They are so unprofessional and don't even have the correct processes in place. How it got approved in OZ bewilders me. I will be moving forward to see if they have acted illegally. Very, very poor Kucoin. Don't do it guys. Use any other Exchange!
