Excellent Experience!
The variety of wines offered for the prices are excellent values. This is my twentieth (20th) year as a Laithwaites customer and I am always very pleased often happy with the wines. I like mixed cases and only occassionally order the same wine. This particular review is for the Pinot Noir Day assortment offered. All excellent wines for the money and a great combination to have a few of each in the cellar now. Thank you!

I have been a member for about 5 years now. In all that time, after dozens of cases of wines, I had 1 bottle that had a rotten cork and one bottle that was too sweet for me….I was refunded for both bottles.
Laithwaites has a good grasp of the types of wines that I enjoy and it is fun trying new bottles from all around the world.

I purchased the 3 Red wine set
I purchased the 3 Red wine set. I like the ease of the site and how the wines are easily arranged, especially for someone like myself who's not versed on the different wine. I also liked the ease of ordering and the updates of my gift arriving at it's destination.

I ordered the mystery case (x2) but I wasn't expecting that 9 of 12 bottles would be California. I abhor California wines...and I did a survey compared to similarly priced Italian wines in my collections and the Italian wines were universal winners. Yes, it was a mystery but it was a bad con job. If I had an inkling you'd do that I never would have bought it. Now I'm trying to find occasions to give that stuff away.

Reply from Laithwaites Wine USA
We are truly sorry to hear that your mystery case selection did not meet your expectations, especially with the prevalence of California wines, which you mentioned are not to your taste. We understand your disappointment when the wines did not align with your preferences or previous experiences with Italian wines. We appreciate you sharing your candid feedback, as it helps us to better understand our customers' diverse palates. We are always working to refine our mystery selections to offer a broader and more satisfying range for everyone.

Good solid service
I've never had a back order, lost shipment, etc.
1 time FedEx damaged the box and 2 bottles went missing. Laithwaites took care of it and shipped me 2 replacements.
