Bought a shed 2 months ago 21 working days it should be with you, still nothing every time I phone them I get answered with I don't deal with these calls I'm covering someone and ill get them to call you back, sent them emails no reply! I thought ah ill give them a try despite their reviews, do not make the same mistake I have! They take your money and try stopping you from having a refund saying they need to send the item back which you haven't even recieved 🤣🤣

I would go less than 1 star if I could. Ordered a shed on 4th May 2025 had to cancel my order in 25th June as I was still being told there would be a further 10 working delay in getting it delivered. I needed the shed as my son is getting married and I will have over a hundred guests daily at my home, needed some to store the alcohol and disposable dishes that I required for the events, also to house a fridge during the course of the wedding functions! Quite literally one person to the next doesn’t who why they are doing!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend them or use again. Very poor customer service.

Strange one really, shed was late but spoke with the chap on the phone at length, understand the logistical problems, asked for a refund and it is in my bank. I don't think they are scammers at all, just a small company who is struggling with the logistics.

I phoned and emailed numerous times got emails to say order was refunded and would be 7 working days etc... 11 days later no refund.. keep getting emails about delivery as the shed was a pre order! I've emailed numerous times and half the time get ignored . I've ended up doing a chargeback from credit card company and hoping I can get it back this way and that the shed doesn't turn up!

Placed an order for a garden bench 4 weeks ago and it still hasn’t arrived. Customer Services make up excuses. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Appalling

Ordered a shed from this company the updates on my order were none existent had to keep contacting them for any updates only to be informed of delay after delay eventually I decided to cancel my purchase to which a full refund was agreed unfortunately I haven’t received it as yet and passed my dispute onto my bank totally untrustworthy and not people of their word

I ordered a large garden box (Toomax). I started to build it but a few bits of the flimsy plastic box had broken off. It was still usable so carried on building it. Worse was to come. The lid complete with built in hinge part was useless as the two moulded in equally flimsy outside hinge pins were already broken off and the lid is useless and not reparable. The company said they would send a replacement. Hasn't happened. I would advise you not to buy a Toomax garden box like my big one it has a stupid designed flimsy hinged lid and some brittle connecting parts on the side panels .
Update. Today I received a replacement lid for the box which after reading all the bad reviews I didn't expect. Maybe I spoke too soon about them. I have moved them up to 3 stars and would have been higher if the product was OK. They should have a word with Toomax.

Warning: Company mimics trusted UK brand – non-delivery and refund delays

I ordered from lakelandhome.co.uk, wrongly assuming it was connected to the trusted Lakeland Ltd due to the similar name and clean site design. It turns out this company is SWL Retail Ltd, a separate business.

After placing the order, I received no dispatch notice or meaningful communication unless I chased. Eventually, I cancelled and requested a refund. Weeks passed with no refund. I ultimately had to raise a dispute through my Mastercard issuer to recover the money.

Looking at reviews here and elsewhere, there’s a clear pattern: customers are charged upfront, receive no goods, and only obtain refunds after delays. If you’re affected:
• Raise a dispute with your credit card provider immediately
• Request they refer the case to Mastercard’s Global Merchant Review team, as repeated chargeback/refund patterns may breach network rules
• Report to Action Fraud and Trading Standards via Citizens Advice
• Consider notifying the real Lakeland Ltd, who may not be aware of how close this branding is to theirs

In my view, this business appears to operate in a way that misleads consumers and relies on customer inaction or confusion. Until they change their practices, I would strongly recommend avoiding them and any related businesses.

I ordered a plastic shed that would fit neatly into the existing space.

This was at the start of May.

I phoned four tines to chase the order and each time received a generic email saying it was in transit and I'd have to wait an additional 10-14 days for it to be delivered.

I have requested a refund to my credit card and not received it. The matter's in their hands now.

Wish I had read the reviews - the chap in customer services loves to spin a yarn! Broken storage box - new lid has been coming along with missing parts since April - I have lost count of how many times I have rung! Always some excuse that the lorry has broken down twice! Put it into the hands of my credit card now.

Poor service all the way through. Order was not delivered on time and nobody communicated with us. When we rang them, they said it will be delivered in 2 weeks time. 3 weeks down the line we still didn't receive the order, so we rang them again, they didn't pick up. Eventually my wife called them, they said they still couldn't deliver due to lack of one element and asked for another 2 weeks delay. After another 3 weeks we still didn't receive anything. We called them and cancelled our order. Refund was not returned to us on time, now we have to go through our bank to receive our money back.

Product arrived on time, and was of a very good quality.
There was however a faulty strut for the lid. I contacted customer service who were very friendly and sent out a replacement which reached me in a couple of days.
I’ve never known a company to rectify an issue so quickly without any fuss.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Item ordered early May and despite the 'in stock - delivery in 7-10 working days' nothing arrived. Numerous attempts to telephone them but could never get through to a real person. Emailed them a week later with a cancellation request and can't even get a response from them two weeks later, let alone a refund. Going through the credit card company to get my money back. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING COMPANY, should not be trading! AVOID!!

Their stock status on their website is clearly a lie.

Regardless, I called to cancel an item on 21st May. They said fine, you'll get an email within 24 hours to confirm.

No email arrived, chased this on 23rd May. Email arrives stating wait maximum of 7 working days.

Chased refund 8th working day. Got strange response like I had only just cancelled the order. Called them this morning, and they have no record of me cancelling any earlier (even though I have an email from them stating this on 23rd May).

So they clearly never issued the refund in the first place. I got very cross on the phone as I hate being lied to, so hung up before I said something I regretted.

I have now completed the chargeback procedure with Barclaycard as this is clearly the only way I will get a refund.

If there was an option for zero stars here, that's what these cowboys would have got.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering with these guys !!. After nearly two months of waiting
( even though the website said it was in stock ) and being told every week.... its on its way , I gave up & asked for a refund...which is all fairness was sorted quite quickly.
Not once was I given an update on my order without having to call in myself....and every time I called I was promised it was coming early the following week. It never arrived !!
I wouldn't use these guys again, which is a shame as I like to support smaller bushiness.....but its badly run, shame.

One star is being very generous,do not order from this company .I ordered a shed 13th April still not arrived .Rang customer service 3times and was told it was out of stock and they were waiting for delivery .Never had an update from them so I am now in process of refund.

One tired evening I stumbled across Lakeland Home thinking it was Lakeland. I spent £380 on a bin storage unit. Unfortunately, a month later and numerous attempts to contact them, I’ve realised it’s a scam website. If you’re not sure, try calling them - no answer, EVER.

I wish I had read the reviews before placing an order with this company much like many people I had a terrible experience from Lakelandhome. I ordered a shed on which the website stated it was in stock and ready to ship. 3 weeks passed without any update. I finally spoke to customer services who advised my tracking order would be emailed next day much as I expected the email never dropped into my inbox. I spoke again to customer services and was advised the order was out of stock and it was being shipped from China. I asked for a full refund which I was told would be paid within 7 working days and surprise, surprise the money was not refunded !! I contacted my bank who quickly refunded my money and will chase up Lakeland Home. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !!
