I spoke to Paige today and she was incredibly helpful, kind, understanding and took the time to carefully explain my options for a final settlement. She’s extremely capable with an indepth knowledge of my program, caring. Paige was empathic regarding my current situation so she was able to streamline this process today to make it as simple, straightforward, yet comprehensive. I am beyond grateful for her dedication to providing not only phenomenal customer service, but also being a genuinely caring person, which is rare at this current time. Absolutely astonishing customer service! Thank you Paige!

Lakeview Law Group is handling a lot of debt I have just let get out of control. I had totally overextended myself. I am very grateful for their staff and services. So far they have made several settlements for me. I get a phone call and a text message, when they receive a settlement offer. I then have the opportunity to accept or reject the offer. It rolls along rather smoothly. I have no complaints!

Overall Very Helpful

When I first signed up with Lakeview Law Group, I thought they helped with debt consolidation. I found out about a month into it that they handle each account separately and work with each creditor to come to an agreement on what I can fairly pay to payoff my account. My credit initially went down but started to go back up after the first year. I was able to finish paying on the agreements, and my files were closed out. Lakeview Law Group did a great job of handling the accounts. They keep you up-to-date and will answer any questions you have at any time. It can be a little expensive, but in the long run, it is worth it since they do all of the negotiations with the creditors and pay them monthly for you. When I was in a position that I could not pay my cards individually myself, they were extremely helpful in setting up a system for me to pay. I appreciated all of the work they did and the help they gave.

I feel so scammed being a 65 year old

I feel so scammed being a 65 year old. Over 4 years I paid in 30k to eleviate 5 debts, only to find at the end when I’m supposed to be debt free that they want more money to settle one extending my payment another year. Out of the $30k of mine, they kept over $8k for services and $1200 for HiDDEN FEES that I knew nothing about. I only knew what they settled my debt for was FAR LESS than what I had paid them. That’s when I learned about the “FEES”. I feel sick that I trusted them to take care of me!

Lakeview has been great! They have negotiated down my debt and kept me informed. I’m almost to the end of my program and glad I called them when I did. Paige, you’re awesome! Thanks again for the update and delivering great news. I highly recommend Lakeview Law Group.

I was not properly represented in good faith.

I hired Lakeview Law Group over two years ago to consolidate two credit cards. These are the results:

1) I WAS SERVED A LAWSUIT BY A CREDITOR TO MY HOME: I paid Lakeview Law Group $582 for over a year at the time of the lawsuit. They told me to quit paying, they would take care of everything and don't answer calls from the creditors. This is what happened.

2) MY EXCELLENT CREDIT IS NOW BAD: I have never missed a payment and pay over the minimum on my credit cards. Lakeview Law Group was paid monthly by direct deposit. I was recently denied for a small loan for my business because of Lakeview Law Group. I was told that my credit would go down for a few months, but it is a bad credit rating over two years later.

3) I AM PAYING MORE: My debt for one of the creditors is 21k. When I filed a complaint with Lakeview Law Group to the Better Business Bureau after I received the lawsuit, someone actually called to apologize and promised me I would be all paid up in the fall of 2025. I was told that by more than one Lakeview Law Group representative. A few months away from being all paid up I learn that they never had reached an agreement with a remaining creditor, and I would not be paid up in September 2025. I could have paid this debt down on my own in a few years, but this is what I get:
The new terms: An additional 14 months increased from $582 to $787 until July 2026.
$582 to April 2027.
$475 Until April 2029.

To recap:
For a 21k plus one more debt of $15,522 I have paid Lakeview Law Group:
582 for 22 months=$12,804
Plus an additional: $787 for 14 months= $11,018
$587 for nine months=$5283
$475 for 24 months= $11,400
$40,505

The reps who called me about the last-minute change weren't apologetic at all. It was more like: "This is where we are at, what do you want to do?" I was put on the spot and caved because I need my bad credit restored to back to where it was before I hired Lakeview Law Group. I truly feel I was not represented on my behalf.

I reviewed my contract which they never originally provided. It was sent yesterday. I have no recourse for my bad decision to hire Lakeview Law Group. There is language that covers them.

I do not like writing these types of reviews, but I don't want anyone to experience what happened to me. I will add that they did a great job on one of the creditors. Things did start off well.

COMPLETELY WORTHLESS!

I had this company supposedly working on my behalf only to be blindsided by a judgement against me and now my wages are being garnished because they completely neglected to address the court paperwork I was served with (and sent them assuming they would handle) back in October of 2024! Now I'm wondering what other creditors are out there that I am unaware of that they've completely ignored. BEWARE THIS COMPANY!! THEY'LL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LET YOUR DEBTS GROW AND NOT DO ANYTHING! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!!

We need to believe

I have read many reviews, some excellent and others less favorable, but what caught my attention is that Lakeview Law Group is not a BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited business. Although the person I speak with on the phone is always very polite and promises to resolve the debts, seeing so many negative reviews and the fact that the company has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 1,682 reviews—which indicates a high level of customer satisfaction—I still don’t have an answer regarding the fact that it is not BBB accredited and has a B rating with 51 complaints registered. At least in my case, I can only say that I am satisfied so far with how they have been involved in resolving my debts, but I still have to wait until they negotiate with all the creditors. I hope everything will turn out okay.

Customer Service

Spoke with Bella today about a concern. Very professional and personable. Lakeview has been on top of a company that buys bad debt and try’s to scare you into paying. 10 months to go and Lakeview will have my debts paid

Settled several of my accounts

My experience today was with Bella who answered all my questions. She was very personable and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I hope I have the pleasure of working with her again!
I have worked with Lakeview on a few accounts that have now been settled. Unexpected Medical bills sent my finances in a spin. No more annoying phone call has my life easier.
