Loved the glasses, and get compliments on them all the time

I have mine since a year, the best glasses I ever had! Ordered a second one on IGG. Of course the delay is part of supporting a startup in crowdfunding! You re doing well guys and negative feedbacks are also part of the game. Can’t satisfy everyone:)

Ordering glasses online is rather hit and miss. And Lance glasses is a Gigantic Hit!! Extremely lightweight and strong, the spectacles are the subtle yet bursting with style. Can not wait to get my second pair!!!

I've gotten 4 pairs through the 2 campaigns; fabulous quality and so many features for the price. Yes, shipments were delayed, but that is common with public funding campaigns. Worth the wait!

Yes, only the frame had a problem. Unfortunately, however, I also made the lenses by mistake.
I have written several times asking to have lenses, also contributing, but I have never received a reply. Now I find myself with a pair of very nice glasses that I can't use.

A great way to get glasses in different frame options at a good price. The timeframe is sometimes longer than anticipated, but I suppose it comes with a crowdfunding project.
I have purchased twice from them and everything was in order. In total I have bought and received 6 pairs. Whenever I had a question I opened a ticket and got an answer within 24 hours.

As I expected, the frame do not perfectly fit with my face and fall easily. I need to fix them at a store. Otherwise, I do not think these glasses go well with my large asian face but lens correction is perfect and they are light and confortable to wear.

I love my glasses, light and solid.

The glasses turn out great but the customer service and ordering system is horrible.

This is a follow up on my May 23, 2020 review.

First, they finally refunded my money for the glasses but NOT my prescription money. I emailed Karim. Disturbingly, Karim tried to withhold my prescription refund demanding I remove my trustpilot review!! Yes, HIS EMAIL ONLY CONTAINED “REMOVE THE TRUSTPILOT REVIEW.” as a response to my asking for my prescription refund (Exhibit G). He went on to say take it up to the platform. Like they haven’t wasted enough of my time. They finally refunded my prescription money for $18.52 instead of the $58. Was tax 65.45%?? I will not pay taxes or any fees for something I NEVER RECEIVED especially after you attempted to hold MY OWN MONEY to tamper with my trustpilot review. The bad practices start from the top, can’t expect better from those working for him.

Second, Lanceglasses responded to my review stating how willing they are to resolve the issue. This is far from the truth. THEY DID NOT OFFER ANY SOLUTION AT ALL. In my opinion, the reply is for others to see how “willing” they are when they are actually not. Btw, I begged them to be more reasonable over and over and come to a mutual resolution before I posted a negative comment. I also followed the steps advised by IGG Trust and Safety support on how to approach this campaign. They also told me to use the IGG Terms of Use to take a legal action.

Third, I pointed out that they PUBLISHED MY PRIVATE INFORMATION on their Indiegogo (IGG) webpage. As a response, they HID ALL MY COMMENTS every time even when the comments are documenting emails and evidence. I emailed the owner, Karim. Here is his response regarding my private information being published:

Karim: “we are totally entitled to use it unless you specified you don’t want It by email.”

In what world do you think you are ENTITLED TO ANYONE’S PRIVATE INFORMATION? I would have accepted an apology but after they published it on IGG, Karim went on to yet AGAIN PUBLISH MY PERSONAL INFORMATION on Trustpilot!!!! What are you trying to prove, Karim?

I also emailed both IGG and lanceglasses regarding my comments being hidden from public view. Here is their response:

IGG: “..the campaign owner has set your comments as hidden.”
Lanceglasses: “only Indiegogo moderate their contents, we have no power to Edit / Modify / remove comments from the feed.”

SOMEONE IS LYING HERE.. so AFTER A LITTLE RESEARCH: From an article by crowdfundinginsider.com titled "Something to Hide? Supporters of BauBax Crowdfunding Campaign Say Creators are Deleting Backer Comments" by JD Alois, one backer, who had similar experiences concluded that owners are ABUSING THE SPAM BUTTON. IGG enables this type of behavior. (Please refer to the article for more info).

Finally, from my understanding, LANCEGLASSES is part of the “INDEMAND” program which means they are expected to deliver within 3 months. This is far from met- hello 2018 and 2019 backers. Now, they are asking for backers to review them to push the older negative reviews to the back.

Please stop blaming the pandemic. This does not explain the complaints from 2018 and 2019, neither is your unprofessionalism. Please stop exploiting the crisis for your own benefit so that you can continue to market the way you do. The crisis, courier service, or consumer reviews did not do you any great injustice. HONESTY TRULY IS THE BEST POLICY. Maybe limit your blame to others and take some accountability. Maybe learn to apologize for your mistakes, consumers appreciate some accountability and SINCERE attempts to resolve problems, not just for show.

This is not about money, this is about honesty, accountability, professionalism, and transparency so that consumers are aware and can feel confident in your practices; I am most definitely not.

No glasses are worth the awful experiences you put your "supporters" through. WE DESERVE BETTER TREATMENT. I will NEVER put my hard working money in your pocket.

Great glasses, good quality, nich design, affordable price, and sturdy as well.

I got a pair of metal premium lenses. Really love them. Good quality, lightweight and stylish. Took a long time to get to me (guess crow funding times + Argentina's poor customs service), but overall really happy. Slow delivery (I am waiting for my second pair, but got the pandemic issue too),but guess worth the waiting (excellent quality for the price, at least compared to what you can get in my country). Got great service from customer support when needed. Wish I had waited a little more to get the new really good offer 2x1

I thought my 2 pairs of glasses, one metal the other acetate, were very attractive. In fact, when walking into my nearby grocery store I received a very nice compliment for the acetate pair (kinda like a mist green color). The fit of both pairs was very good and looked good with the shape of my face, never got a chance to use their app. One of these days I hope someone will invent a system to keep glasses from sliding down one's nose, oh well I can dream. The quality of the lens in the acetate pair was outstanding, flawless but the metal pair had the lens coatings as wavy. Didn't notice at first, no headaches, no focus problems just sometimes hard to find the right spot. Thought about sending the metal pair back for a new lense replacement but remembered the wait time to receive the glasses. I really liked my glasses but the extreme wait time will most likely send me else were. How correspondence with Lance seemed to be timely. I wish the company the best.

Excellent quality eyewear and great value!

I'm very pleased with Lance Glasses, and I highly recommend them. They are having a very special design for most of their pairs of glasses. Another important aspect is the high quality of their products.

Some issues with an ill fitting sunclip and no responses from customer support. Eventually resolved after months by filing a PayPal claim.

The glasses are perfect despite the fact that the delivery time was not as fast as expected.

I am a contact lens guy.
But when I am at my computer, I have to wear reading glasses.
And even w the premium lens (contacts), the sharpness / focus is never great. And when I go out, I need sunglasses.

I got a pair of Lance glasses w ALL the bells and whistles, and I AM IN LOVE!
I can wear them all day long, read up close and far away, inside and out in the sun, without giving it a second thought. They fit well and look great. And if you are active, they are reasonably rugged. Changed my life.
