Have used lanzluxury villas for years

Have used lanzluxury villas for years , and have stayed in several villas in playa blanca area , which have been competitively priced compared to other companies , and the villas have all been excellent. The staff have always been extremely helpful and professional , and just a phone call away on the rare occasion you need to contact them .
Will keep returning to them and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting that bit of extra luxury and privacy which you don’t get at an hotel , which is often more expensive .

We always book with Lanz Luxury Villas…

We always book with Lanz Luxury Villas and never had any problems with any of the villas we have stayed in. We are currently in Villa Gia 149 and have just booked Villa 230 for next March. We are staying in Casa Cava Villa 143 in June and then Punta Faro villa 237 in November. Jennie and her staff are really friendly and professional and we look forward to many more bookings with Lanz Luxury Villas.

Not a luxury villa

First time using this company and will be the last.
We stayed in villa 332 Princessa Sue and we had issues from the start.
1. When entering the villa we were immediately hit with a damp, musty disgusting smell that was present for the duration of our stay.
2. The pictures and description of the villa did not match the actual condition of the property.
3. Website pictures clearly show air conditioning unit in the main sitting room but this had clearly been removed. In fact the villa was extremely stuffy and unpleasantly hot due either to lack of air conditioning units or air conditioning units not working properly. So much so that out of six bedrooms we could only use three of them. The two lower floor bedrooms we knicknamed the sweat boxes.
4. Really poor maintenance throughout the villa. Kitchen door unit falling off when we opened it. None of the ceiling fans worked. One of the dining room chairs falling to bits. Main patio doors wouldn't lock properly due to catches hanging off. TV wouldn't work. Remote controls for air conditioning units missing backs and taped up or wouldn't work. In general just a worn and tired excuse for a supposedly luxury villa.
5. We did contact the local manager and he came promptly enough and sorted the TV for us and dropped in a portable fan but the biggest problem was air conditioning. He informed us that he had organised an engineer to visit on the Wednesday (half way through our holiday) This was the last we heard from him. No visit from the engineer and no follow up from the manager.

We as a family have rented a few villas in Lanzarote over the years and in my opinion and for the amount of money we paid this villa is not up to scratch. While some aspects of the villa were great, fit out of the kitchen and pool area in particular the bad points outweigh the good.

This villa probably was luxury in the past and could be again with a bit of love and proper maintenance.

Not luxury anymore

Villa's are not been maintained inside or outside and cleanliness has gone down hill have used them for many years but will think twice about it now nicer and cheaper Villa's on booking they need to take the luxury out of their business name

Villa information misleading and cleaning/maintenance poor

Good to book but misleading info re the villa and no real response on negative feedback. Their website also needs a place for clients to add comments on villas but that is missing too. Using numbers for Villas for the booking rather than names also prevents you from looking to cross reference reviews on other sites.
This is our follow up on Villa 206, or better Villa Ibiza, which is the real name:

We are just leaving the villa so whilst fresh in our minds I thought we’d send you a list of issues etc.

- air conditioning remote in master bedroom, didn’t work, we bought new batteries
- left bedside light didn’t work in main bedroom
- light bulb fell out of main bedroom ceiling whilst I was on the bed directly onto me (so only two lights remain now in ceiling)
- light bulbs mismatched thought out the villa, so sometimes fairly dim in the evening
- chess set left out as a feature, we played chess through the holiday, but broken pieces
- no salt or pepper, although vinegar and filter papers for coffee machine
- cleanliness in general was poor, dust which was so thick when we arrived inside (we’ve been to Lanzarote many times before and stayed in villas so know about the red dust, but this was lack of sweeping and cleaning)
- dirty fridge
- broken furniture, one of the chairs outside broke as soon as my son sat on it
- pool. This was cleaned after we called. When we arrived the water level was way below the vent and took the ‘emergency’ pool cleaner many hours to have the hose running to bring the level upto that needed. The pool was dirty and had obviously left open for a number of days.
- hot tub. Dirty on arrival, completely different on cleaning by emergency pool maintenance. One side of jets broken
- garden. There is a thorny plant by the door which is overgrown and was flapping about hitting us in the face. This needs to be sorted
- cats. There seems to be a hole in the back ‘gate’ so the garden in the evening is a cat thoroughfare
- hot water - it is only possible to have one shower running at a time with hot water, with three en-suites, this should be covered in villa details as the inference is that three bathrooms means each shower can run with water at the same time. This isn’t the case.
- pool surround, issues with the decking broken and shifting
- pool loungers, again not the red dust, but general dirt

In summary you should update your photos on the website and we would not call this villa luxury. As I say it took a couple of days to sort the pool, not really the start to the holiday we wanted. The general cleanliness in comparison to both privately owned and James Villas we’ve stayed in before was very poor. The villa feels unloved and in need of some maintenance throughout.

We will be back to Lanzarote, but we won’t be choosing to stay at this villa again

Many thanks

Whatever happened to customer service.

These days it seems acceptable to accept everything to do with a holiday will be done remotely. This does have its pitfalls, namely inhumanity. Initial email, a ping-pong of correspondence, money transferred, everything printed, keypad on Wall. Not a sole to be seen or heard. And your in.
However if there is a problem, you have to break the seal of amonimty.
The same sense of remoteness is now transferring itself to the act of physical ineptitude of looking after Villas. There is a concerted hands off approach.
In March 2020 we were locked down in Villa 501 Montana Roja Playa Blanca. Fast forward 19 months and we are back in the same Villa, and its in exactly the same condition.
No new lick of paint, dust under glass cover tops, filthy patio, grubby hot tub, lumpy pillows, outside chair cushions dirty.
At £1100.00 per week, its not cheap. And what do we get for a midweek clean, change of sheets and towels. But no clean. I don't think it ever gets cleaned.
And still no one to talk too. No one asks if you've had a good time or not. Was it Value for Money etc...
Ahh well our love affair with holidays is over, everything is so sterile and companies just don't care, and neither do Villa Owners.
Lanz villa's is just one of hundreds of uncaring money grabbing companies, offering much and delivering little.
