Just back from a stay in Casa Elisabetta. Been using Optima villas for over 10 years and this is the first time I've not been overly impressed with Optimas response whilst on holiday and the accommodation.

Pros:
*Secure entry complex which was quiet and next to a little mini supermarket at the base on Montana Roja.
*Plenty utensils in the villa
*Usual welcome pack from optima which is appreciated.
*TV channels excellent.
*WiFi throughout
*Good for smaller family holiday

Cons
*Beds uncomfortable.
*Tired and dated decor inside with marks on the walls.
*Showers needing updated
*Layout was a little strange with some sliding doors not feeling 100% secure at the back.
*Washing machine broken on arrival. Reported on day 2 of holiday as needed to wash child's clothes. Optima took 3 days to rectify this after saying it was delayed until the day before we were leaving to go home. Explained how disappointed I was of this and they eventually said one would be replaced in 2 hours time. They fixed the issue but taking 3 days with a slower email communication update on the situation wasn't their usual service we had in the past from them. Not sure why this was this time but nonetheless they sorted it thankfully.

*Sofas in the living areas were stained and very very uncomfortable.

*Table in hallway screwed to the wall a hazard for banging toes on, getting in and out of the front door.

*Pool had green round the sides until the last day when two Pool cleaners came in and cleaned it properly. Sadly this wasn't done for us arriving for our weeks holiday.

*30-40 min walk to the main playa blanca harbour. Walking didn't bother us too much. Just a little further than previous stays.

Fabulous service as usual from the optima team. From booking to any questions , everything is always answered promptly and professionally . Apartment was spacious and clean and perfectly located . Everything you need for a lovely holiday

We recently had a great stay at Villa Keira end of March 2026. The company were really responsive when I had questions and were really accommodating to our needs with early check in and late check out. Villa was great with a fabulous pool. Lovely and warm despite the cooler conditions in March and the challenging recent weather.
Only had one disruptive nights sleep with the wind but that’s no reflection on the villa.
Lovely hot tub area and very private.
Would highly recommend the villa and this company. Will stay again

Just stayed 7 nights at Casa George in Faro Park area of Plsya Blanca. Fantastic vill. It was absolutely spotless and comfortable and well equipped. Again fantastic service from Optima Villas. This the best villa letting company i have ever used. Really quick response to any issues you may have and are genuinely caring. Have booked yet again with them for June.

This is our Second Holiday with Optima Villas. They just do everything to a high standard from Quality of Villas, advice, communication, right through to the well thought out Welcome Pack. Really enjoyed our holiday🙂

We stayed in Villa Ciocco. As other reviews have said, the Villa is a little rough around the edges, nothing major but it would make it a 5 star experience if a few things were updated and replaced. The dishwasher wasn’t working well and my husband had to clean it all out. The pool and outside areas are lovely, the heated pool was perfect and the kids spent hours swimming. It’s in a lovely spot with stunning views of the sea. In easy reach of most things with a car. You could hear the entertainment from a nearby hotel most evenings, but it wasn’t loud and finished by 10pm. All in all we had a great holiday and would go back to the Villa for the outside space and easy proximity to Playa Blanca and the surrounding areas.

Just back after a wonderful stay in Casa Azul in Playa Blanca. Our first time trying the villa life and it did not disappoint!!! The house was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The kids loved the heated pool and we spent our days lounging around the pool and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. The villa is in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk to the seafront - great to get the steps in each day! Plenty of towels including beach towels, a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, powerful showers, washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc as well as board games, cards and books too! Really appreciated the very thoughtful welcome pack too as we arrived late in the evening. Would highly recommend Optima Villas based on our stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in Puerto Mar apartment, serviced by Optima Villas. The apartment was in a central location in Playa Blanca, near to shops, bars and supermarkets. It was very comfortable and clean with an outstanding view of the sea. We will definitely return!

We were given this villa as our booked one was flooded, it was cheaper but you get what you pay for. Villa was very miminal, beds were very comfortable, linen and towels very good, plenty of china etc. Welcome pack appreciated but would have liked some salt and pepper. Bbq was unusable due to heavy rust as was shower head in ensuite bathroom. No greenery outside and very sterile. Swimming pool cover straps broken. Very quiet area as mostly residential. We would not return to this villa but will always use Optima for further bookings as we have done before, great communication.

Our 3rd stay in Casa Olivia and our 10th stay using Optima. Cannot fault the service from Optima, lovely welcome pack , prompt response to query and very well equipped villa.
11th sray booked for November, but we may well return before then.
Highly recommend Optima to anybody looking to book a villa in Playa Blanca.

We stayed at Villa Su Casa. The weather was bad when we were here and we lost power and water. Rachel was so attentive and ensured all was restored very promptly. The Villa was very clean and we felt if we had any problem that Rachel and team responded brilliantly.
Playa Blanca is only a ten minute walk and if we needed to leave the Villa all was on our doorstep. Look forward to coming back again.

Our 4th holiday with optima villas, once again easy booking , good communication, any problems dealt with immediately ( even on a Sunday !) Villa Rose well equipped with everything you may need. Good cleaning service in villa and pool. We will definitely use Optima again next year.

Wonderful holiday, weather not as good as usual! Casa George was great. Optima were outstanding as per normal. Looking forward to returning in June. Thank you once again Optima 😊

This is our second time at Villa Maria. We love it! The villa has everything you could wish for to make a self catering holiday stress free. So many utensils, pans, plates and a dishwasher! Inside and outside the villa is comfortable, fabulous and the pool is just amazing. We will definitely return again.

This was our 6th holiday villa booked through Optima and everything was excellent once again. On arrival there was a welcome pack and the villa was in excellent condition. We will definitely book through them again.

We had a fantastic time in Casa Reina plenty of room for four adults and a young child , very helpful people at Optima villas answered emails promptly and with quick decisions would happily book with them again

First time with Optima Villas, having stayed in many Villas, in the SW Corner of Playa Blanca. Cannot fault the App, really 1st Class, and so informative, well done. Would strongly suggest a Handle to exit and enter the pool, 1st step is very narrow. Extremely clean on arrival, and Villa located in a quiet location.

No probs with Optima, booked with them for 3 years.
Second time in Villa Juabel for 3 weeks, nice quiet area about 25/30mins from Playa Blanca centre, however we felt it is in need of some upgrading/modernisation, especially
en suite showers.
Outdoor area is spacious, actual patio furniture needs replaced, some cushions were missing and others badly stained. Due to winds the area was covered in white paint flakes, also around fake grass was needing weeds removed.
Too expensive for next year given how tired it is.

Do not book! Have planned and paid in full (a substantial amount) for a family holiday due to commence in 2 weeks. I was emailed ( not even a phone call!) this morning to say the property is no longer available!!! No call, no offer to accommodate us elsewhere. The office can not be contacted and they will not return my calls. This is supposed to be a ‘premier service’?

3rd time in villa Dafne. We enjoyed it just as much as ever. Optima maintain the same high standards throughout.
Nice team and nice staff. We are already booked for the same dates next year.
We have mentiondd before but it would be nice to have one of these wind breakers on the right of the patio as you step out from the villa to make it more comfortable sitting out in the evening.
