We had a wonderful time in this delightful villa. It was clean and well-proportioned and there was a very generous welcome pack to greet us when we arrived. The villa was very clean with generous provision of towels, both bath and pool. The area was also perfect for us. Optimavillas also allowed a late checkout for my elderly parents which was much appreciated, this was organised very promptly. We would love to stay here again.

The location of Villa Rose was fine. We stayed for three weeks and rented a car for the final week in order to explore the island. Unfortunately much of the equipment in the villa was sub-standard. On arrival the parasol was ripped and broken (took five days and two visits to supply a new one). The clothes dryer was broken and rusty, the dishwasher left many items unclean, the blanket was stained, the cushions dirty. I could go on but the worst was the double mattress which sagged in the middle and made sleeping difficult. We were told a new one would be provided...and two different people turned up to measure the mattress....but a new one never arrived. On the plus side the weekly clean was thorough and the villa was quiet at night. Such a pity that the owners don't realise that it's the 'little things' that often make for a great holiday. Even some of the 'welcome pack' items still had their 1 euro and 1.50 euro stickers on them. Hardly quality!!!

We have just returned from 10 days at Villa Celeste , our third booking with Optima . The villa was a great size with plenty of space for the 4 of us and our grandson . The outdoor space has a pool , swings , mini golf , pool table , table tennis and a sun room as well as outside dining area. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and we did miss there being a dining table inside . We had a couple of issues with the property due to the weather but this was dealt with promptly by the great staff at Optima . We have had repeatedly good customer service from them and would definitely use them again for future visits to Lanzarote .

We had an amazing holiday at Villa Casa Salada with Optima. The villa was so light and airy and had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. The pool was easily the best pool we’ve ever had in any villa, so clean and the temperature was perfect! There were some things that were showing a little wear and tear but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Thanks to the staff at Optima and especially Rachel who promptly came out when we had a small problem. We will definitely use Optima again. The only problem was we had to come home!

We use optima villas regularly. We stayed in Vista Montana this time which was a lovely villa, modern decor,very comfy beds. Good outside area with a nice warm pool. The villa was clean.

The following comment is not a negative just an FYI.

Optima pool towels had a holes In, didn't effect our stay but unusual oversight by optima

The only thing I would add is a heater as it was unusually cold this year. Not just this villa but all accomodation. We heard lots of people talking about how cold accommodation was in general this year

Booking with Optima Villas was easy and efficient. Communication and service from the team was excellent.
The villa itself was well maintained and clean.

Easiest straight forward booking system, communications are very comprehensive and all the staff are polite and very efficient. The Villa was so beyond our expectations, we immediately booked it again on our return to the UK.

First time using Optima Villas have used other companies for many years and found the whole process very easy and amongst the best I have dealt with. Stayed at Villa Algeria on Faro park, clean, comfortable and great access to the walkway, shops, restaurants, bars and bus service which is excellent. Definitely be using Optima again.

The villa we stayed in was clean, well kept and provided plenty of kitchen utensils, seating areas and in a great quiet location. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The beds were a little dated and uncomfortable and in need of an upgrade. The TV downstairs did not work either. Optima villas who managed the booking generally provided great communication, except they did not send the email with details of how to enter the villa or any instructions on how to use the security alarm. These difficulties were not a great start to the holiday and had no way of contact except email.

Great company to deal with . Been with them over last 10 years . Villa always in good condition and well serviced . Friendly and helpful staff if any small issues . Heated pools always well maintained. All in all and excellent service

A great appartment through Optimavillas with great service as always. Team are friendly, helpful and always on hand.

This Villa is a great place to stay for your holiday.
Spotlessly clean. Value for money. Super well equipped. Ideal for families or couples. We have stayed in over 20 villas in PB over the years and this really is the best one yet. It isn’t trying to be something it isn’t and it was a delight to stay there. We will be back. Andy n Tracey from Blackpool.

I can highly recommend Optima Villas as we have stayed in several of their Villas and found them to be to a very high standard and provide an excellent service from booking to leaving nothing is to much trouble. We will definitely be booking again.

Wir haben im Dezember 2024 über Optima Villas die Unterkunft Mariolas Sunset in Puerto del Carmen gebucht, für einen Aufenthalt im November 2025 – sorgfältig ausgewählt aufgrund unserer langjährigen Lanzarote-Erfahrung und der perfekten Lage, die wir sehr bewusst gewählt hatten.
10 Tage vor unserer Anreise wurde die Buchung wegen eines Wasserschadens storniert. Ein solcher Schaden kann passieren – aber wie man damit umgeht, ist eine Entscheidung. Und hier wurden sämtliche Folgen vollständig auf uns abgewälzt.
Die einzige angebotene Alternative lag 30 km entfernt in Playa Blanca. Für uns war das völlig ungeeignet – sowohl die Lage als auch das Umfeld und der gesamte Charakter des Ortes passen schlicht nicht zu unserem Reiseprofil. Zusätzlich war diese „Alternative“ auf der Website von Optima Villas für unsere Reisedaten rund 450 £ günstiger als die Mariolas Sunset. Von „Vergleichbarkeit“ kann man da wirklich nicht sprechen.
Dazu kam: Keinerlei Entgegenkommen.
Weder bei den erheblichen Mehrkosten der kurzfristigen Neubuchung, noch bei der Unterstützung, eine echte Alternative zu finden, noch bei der Wahl des Rückzahlungswegs. Die Rückerstattung erfolgte ausschließlich in britischen Pfund, was zu zusätzlichen Währungsverlusten führte.
Insgesamt fühlten wir uns komplett allein gelassen. Gerade eine Agentur sollte in einer solchen Situation unterstützen – stattdessen wurde alles auf uns abgeschoben.
Nachdem wir später mehrere Rezensionen zur Mariolas Sunset gelesen haben, die auf einen renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand hinweisen, sind wir inzwischen fast erleichtert, dass der Wasserschaden vor unserer Anreise aufgetreten ist. Wären wir auf Optima Villas vor Ort angewiesen gewesen, hätten wir vermutlich ein echtes Problem gehabt.
Sehr enttäuschend und sicher keine Erfahrung, die wir wiederholen möchten.

We booked the property Mariolas Sunset through Optima Villas in December 2024 – chosen very deliberately due to our many years of experience on Lanzarote and the perfect location in Puerto del Carmen, which mattered greatly to us.
Just 10 days before arrival in November 2025, our booking was cancelled because of a water leak. Damage can happen — but how an agency chooses to handle it is a decision. In this case, every consequence was placed entirely on us.
The only alternative offered was a property 30 km away in Playa Blanca, a location completely unsuitable for our plans and preferences. Even more concerning, this “alternative” was listed on Optima’s own website for our dates at around £450 less than Mariolas Sunset. Calling it “comparable” simply doesn’t fit the reality.
What made the situation worse was the complete lack of support:
No help with the significantly higher cost of finding last-minute accommodation, no realistic replacement, and not even flexibility regarding the refund method. The refund was issued exclusively in British pounds, causing additional losses due to exchange rate differences.
Overall, we felt entirely abandoned in a situation where one would expect an agency to step in and help, not withdraw.
After reading several reviews mentioning that Mariolas Sunset had already been in need of renovation, we are almost relieved that the water damage occurred before we arrived. Had we depended on the agency while already on the island, we would likely have faced serious issues.
A very disappointing experience, and certainly not the level of service we expect from a professional villa agency.

We stayed at the Villa Su Casa which was lovely! great location 10 minute walk to High Street and town beach, optima villas were amazing and couldn't do enough to help you and make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Will definitely be using them again next year.

Optima once again proved to be the highest quality villa agency in Lanzarote - we'd say in all of Europe! The villas are exceptionally good, and this year they pulled out all the stops with an astonishingly well presented, modern and beautifully designed villa in Playa Blanca. Attention to detail shows in the excellent features: bedding, towels, very comprehensive welcome pack. We return to Optima Villas year after year because they are unbeatable!

Had a great time in casa Reina , lovely villa . Been with optima every year they never let you down nothing is too much trouble, all the villas are spotless and I cannot fault the service they provide.

Great Villa company. Easy to book. Very nice clean Villa. Excellent client service. Good communication and quick to respond. Stayed in Casa George in Faro Park area of Playa Blanca Lanzarote. Vary quiet location but within east walking distance of restaurants and bars. Will stay again.
