I have used Lase many times as has my daughter, for surgical and non surgical treatments. The treatment,care and attention to detail is exemplary,from start to finish.I have recommended Lase to many, who have has their treatments carried out with great results. Mr Ali Khan and Lisa should be so proud of the services they provide within the North East.

I came to Mr Ali-Khan seeking breast augmentation and from the very first consultation I knew I would be making the perfect choice having him do my surgery. He made me feel beyond comfortable and always checking to make sure I was happy with my choices. After my surgery I could not believe how well I recovered, I had not one bit of pain and needed no painkillers what so ever which I think is down to Mr khan being the skilled surgeon he is. I couldn’t recommend Mr Khan enough.

Had an appointment with Mr Ali-Khan regarding scar revision on a facial scar, and while treatment was not recommended, I fully respect the honesty and integrity of Mr Ali-Khan’s decision and his recommendations. After months of research and contemplating going abroad for a tummy tuck, a friend recommended Mr Ali-Khan to me.
From the initial consultation at the clinic in Jesmond, I was given a warm welcome and provided with all of the advice and information to take away and digest. I had a consultation with Lisa Ali-Khan too but we agreed that I wouldn’t achieve the results I was looking for through her alternatives to surgery. This enabled me to make a well informed decision about progressing with the surgery and having some lipo.

My consultation was in December 2022 but due to a backlog from the Pandemic, Mr Ali-Khan still had a waiting list so we were looking at a December 2023 surgery (due to my holidays in the summer). That being said, I called in March, just to check in and they’d had a cancellation in May 2023 - I decided to book it.

I had a follow up appointment at The Spire with Mr AK and he answered all of my final queries, putting my mind at ease.

The Spire did get my email address incorrect along with the spelling of my name and therefore I didn’t receive any of the initial emails. Mr AK sharply rectified this.

I had 2 Pre-Op appointments the week running up to my surgery and checked in on the day at 07:30am. I was shown to my private en-suite room, the nurses, anaesthetist and Mr AK carried out all of the pre-op checks again and gowned me up!

The whole team were so warm it really put me at ease, before I knew it, surgery was done and I was back in my room! Mr AK came to see me that afternoon and advised everything had gone to plan, he had removed 1.2kg and 0.9 litres of fat, he showed me the video which I’d given consent to - it was amazing! I had 5cm muscle separation from my pregnancies which he repaired and he also got rid of an awful tattoo I got when I was 16!!

The recovery was not bad but I did underestimate how immobile I would be initially, the nurses had to help me to the bathroom and on the first evening, I did have to use the bed pan a few times!

The room was great, family could visit at any time and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was watered, fed and looked after.

I spent two nights in hospital and was discharged at 1pm on day 3. Mr AK came to see me prior to discharge and issue follow up appointments. I was given a care pack to take home with medication, dressings and of course the compression garment that was fitted straight after my surgery.

I had taken two weeks holiday from work and was thankful I had as the first few days was a struggle. The weather was really warm and wearing the compression garment 24/7 was a pain on the hot nights!

Overall, the pain was minimal but I was on painkillers and had been prescribed liquid morphine for peaks in the pain (I only used this twice in 2 weeks). The discomfort and immobility was worse than the pain, I couldn’t stand up straight and I did experience some lower back ache as a result. I would definitely recommend 2 weeks rest to give your body that time to recover But I was fine to return to work on week 3.

I went back to hospital two weeks after surgery for my first check up and to have the dressings removed, I had managed to keep the original ones dry and they were still in tact. They were removed and it was my first opportunity to see my tummy - WOW WOW WOW!

20 years of contemplating and I knew right then I had made the right decision. I couldn’t believe I was looking at my stomach - the difference was unbelievable and I had some definition from the muscle repair too which I hadn’t expected.

After 3 follow up appointments in total, I have now been discharged (3 months) and I’ve just returned from my first holiday wearing a bikini!! Remember to use high SPF if you’re going on holiday after surgery as your skin is thinner and needs protection, keep your scar covered up too
as exposure can affect the healing process.

3 months on the scar is dark pink but healing great and I know this will keep fading with time. I am back to normal and doing exercise. I do have some numbness around my belly button but nowhere else.

For anyone contemplating cosmetic surgery I 100% recommend Lase Cosmetics. Mr Ali-Khan is truly great at what he does and after so many years, still takes absolute pride in getting the best results for his patients. He has such a lovely, calming manner, explains everything so well and puts you at ease. I had complete trust going into my surgery.

Couldn’t recommend more. After being turned away elsewhere with the surgeon saying my lipoma was too big to remove Dr Ali Khan assured me this was not the case. Everybody at LASE made me feel calm and at ease from the initial consultation and especially during my surgery (shout out to Paul who went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and comfortable in the theatre even let me squeeze his hand). The after care has also been great with a phone call and an appointment making sure everything is okay. Super happy with my experience and the way that I look following surgery. I recently underwent abdominoplasty surgery with liposuction and muscle repair with Dr Ali Khan. From my initial consultation I felt confident I had found the right surgeon, Dr Ali Khan was personable, professional and clearly explained the procedure the risks and answered all my questions with no pressure. On the morning of my operation I felt very calm as I knew I was in safe hands the team at Spire were fantastic and explained the process each step of the way. The aftercare was reassuring with regular checks and assistance from the spire team. Dr Ali Khan visited a few hours after the operation to check on me and explained how the operation had gone and even phoned the ward last thing at night to check again before morning rounds a phenomenal level of care shown. I had ongoing regular checks to ensure I was healing well and Dr Ali Khan took the time to answer all my questions and provided reassurance, He goes above and beyond with his care and puts the safety of his patients as his upmost priority. My muscle separation was 8cm with a huge hernia and loose skin after having 2 large babies I looked disfigured before the operation and it has literally changed my life for the better. For anyone thinking of a similar procedure I can only speak from my experience Dr Ali Khan is genuinely a lovely caring professional, his work is outstanding and the level of care he shows is above and beyond thank you Dr Ali Khan for giving me back my confidence.

I have recently attended my 6 week post op check up after undergoing a labiaplasty procedure at LASE and I could not be happier with the result. From the moment I visited LASE for my first consultation I knew this was the place I wanted to have my surgery. Initially I was nervous before the appointment but all of the staff at LASE are so lovely and welcoming which made all of those nerves fade away instantly. I could not have picked a better surgeon than Mr Ali-Khan as he is very genuine, considerate and not to mention a great laugh! It is clear he only wants the best for his patients. Mr Ali-Khan explained everything about my surgery in full detail, answered any questions I had and there was never any pressure to go ahead with the procedure. I have never undergone any kind of surgery before but because of how reassured Mr Ali-Khan and the LASE team made me feel I had no anxiety on the day of my procedure. My recovery has been so straight forward due all the advice and top after care I have been given from Mr Ali-Khan and the LASE team. Mr Ali-Khan is the best at what he does and I could not recommend LASE enough!

I was recommended by a friend to go here, but when I made the consultation, I was not sure what to expect. I was delighted to be be greeted by a friendly receptionist, who put me at ease. Then I had my consultation with Ali-Khan who listened carefully what my requirements were and he then, explained the procedure, did a drawing and gave me time to ask questions and at no point put pressure to go ahead, with the surgery. I did go ahead and again, the whole team in the immaculate surgery, were professional, friendly and I felt completely in safe caring hands. I returned a week later to have my stitches taken out and wow, amazing, so very happy with the result. I would 100% recommend Lase Cosmetic and if I decide to have anything else done, this is where I will be booking. The aftercare and attention this company gives you is excellent, as at one point I did leave a message on the answerphone, which Ali-Khan replied quickly, with his calm and friendly attitude and my mind was put at ease immediately.

Throughout the whole process of appointments, surgery and aftercare Mr Ali-Khan was wonderful. He made me feel at ease and calm during every step of the process towards my breast augmentation surgery. He was open and honest about what to expect which i greatly appreciated. I had considered this surgery for many years prior to going ahead and i'm so glad i waited. Mr Ali-Khan was the perfect surgeon for me.
4 years on and I am just as happy now as I was at the time. It really was the best decision I have ever made. My overall outcome is fantastic, my scars have healed beautifully, there is no sagging as of yet and everything looks as natural as i had hoped.

I have since been to see Mr Ali-Khan and his team at LASE for other treatments, all of which were amazing too.

I am a 20 year old girl and was very self conscious about my cystic lesion I had in my face. Mr Ali Khan was able to take me through the process of consultations, surgery, and reviews smoothly and comfortably. I was extremely nerve wracked for my surgery and the procedure went so much better than I could have asked for. The whole team at Lase are so comforting and really help you through the whole process. I am now happy, cyst free (in my recovery/healing stage) with a great scar that is healing incredibly for only a short time later

After significant weight loss, for years I sat on the fence about having something done about the excess skin and moobs it had left behind. However the second I took the plunge and visisted Lase I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made.
From my inital consultation with Dr Dr Ali Khan to my prodecures and follow ups with Dr James Wokes I was treated brilliantly and felt hugely supported throughout.
I had an extended tummy tuck and a mastectomy for gyneacomastia through Dr James Wokes and the results were incredible. My stay in hospital was briliant and I was looked after very well. All my follow up appointments were well planned in advance and my surgeon James was always on hand to answer any questions no matter how small. A year after my procedure James also agreed for a free follow up procedure to make some small amendments too.
I understand it is rare for a male to have these procedures, but if you do decide to go for it, there isn't a better place to do so than Lase.

From my first appointment Mr Ali khan was very professional and made me feel so comfortable. I wanted this surgery after loosing a lot of weight during lockdown however he made sure I was aware of the risks and never tried to sell me or pressure me into getting surgery.

On the day of surgery everything was fully explained and again went over the risks. Between the staff at the spire and mr Ali khan I felt so looked after during my stay . Straight after the surgery I was already so much happier and now 3 months post op my results are amazing and I am much more confident.

I had an abdominoplasty and muscle wall repair with Mr Ali-Khan in November 2022 and I am now 5 months post op. After having 2 large babies I was left with a lot of loose skin and a 6cm divarification in my abdominal muscles. This on a background of left hip OA, I was struggling to exercise comfortably, suffered chronic back pain and upset with my appearance despite being reasonable fit. After months of research I booked a consultation with Mr Ali-Khan. I have not looked back. He explained everything carefully and in detail including risks/benefits for all my options. There is no pressure or obligation to go ahead if surgery is not the choice for you. I proceeded with the abdominoplasty and muscle repair. The results are incredible. I feel I have regained my life. Not only aesthetically there is a huge improvement my back pain gone and my hip pain is under control as the muscle repair has regained my core strength and stability. I am now the fittest I have been in years and training for the GNR this year. The aftercare from Mr Ali-Khan and his team is exceptional, I was even seen on a Sunday for a wound check and dressing change.

Anyone in the same position as me my advice is do your research and if you feel surgery is the path to explore I cannot recommend Mr Ali-Khan enough. Thank you so much.

The honest, personal and tailored approach put me at ease and the actual surgery and recovery was amazing, fully supported throughout. And the results have transformed my life! In January I went on to have a breast uplift. I had a number of options and procedures open to me and I was quite confused about what I wanted. I couldn't rate this very brief experience of Lase Cosmetic clinic high enough. Lovely friendly welcome at reception, I felt completely at ease and had a very honest and open consultation with Lisa. I really appreciated the advice from Lisa - unfortunately for me, I wouldn't be able to achieve the results I wanted via the treatment I was enquiring about. That's why I appreciated Lisa's integrity. I wouldn't rule out other treatments in the future, but after this experience, I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Lase. I would trust them completely
