Been to the one next to Wembley stadium a few times, food’s decent enough at that price bracket, good service, friendly staff. Normally go for happy hour cocktails, unfortunately, when an event is on... See more

Burnt food
Burnt food! Cocktails full of ice literally not even 2 mouthfuls of alcohol in the glasses and for 2 people cost 76 pound. Talk about rip off!!!!!!
Las iguanas torquay
Place was virtually empty, was asked if we had booked by miserable waiter, dark hair, small moustache who had absolutely no interest in looking after us.
No attention to us, had really bad vibes so got up and left. No one bothered
Shockingly bad service
Bottomless Brunch
Myself & work colleagues arrived Saturday (09/2023 at 3pm) for a bottomless brunch for works Christmas do. The lady sat us down nearly half an after our table was booked, gave us menus and said enjoy explained how the bottomless menu worked. We decided what we wanted to eat and drink but no one came to us to take our order for about 30 minutes. It was busy, which we appreciate that but staff were constantly ignoring us really poor service when our boss complained about the service the staff were really rude and upon leaving a truthful review on trip advisor three positive reviews posted from staff and friends slating customers saying they were drunk and not been able to handle their alcohol after 3 watered down drinks each somehow i don't think we where drunk it is very poor, the place is a shambles they don't have enough staff for the amount of tables booked bottomless brunch definitely not worth the money paid.
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting! I booked a Christmas meal for 22 people, when they arrived there was a table in the centre seating 15 and smaller tables round the sides for the rest. Because we had paid the deposit early we were advised that free bubbles would be available, they forgot this and a party guest had to remind them. They were told that the Christmas meals they had paid deposits for were not available and they had to choose from the main menu, not sure if this was at the same price. When the drinks arrived the waitress didn’t know who had ordered what, so left the tray at the end of the table. She spoke to a party guest with her hands behind her back taking there order (maybe she had a good memory) she was then told to take the orders for everyone and was surprised and someone else arrived to help. Had to wait 1hour 45 minutes to be served, totally disorganised and the party felt like they were surplus to requirements. Totally unacceptable and would never, ever book here again or recommend.
This brunch was an absolute shambles, staff rude and service terrible
This brunch was an absolute shambles. We paid for a brunch between 3pm and 5pm, when we arrived our table wasnt ready until 3:20 so we were just stood in the door way for 20 minutes without a drink.
When we eventually got seated, we were given 2 bottles of prosecco between 12 people which as you can imagine lasted around 10 mins and we ordered some cocktails. 25 minutes later so 45 minutes into our brunch we finally got our first cocktail.
After finally distracting waitress beth from flirting with other members of staff we ordered around 6/7 drinks (mainly soft drinks for the ones not drinking), after beth eventually decided to stop blatantly ignoring us 3 times they still never turned up until 30 seconds before 5. As soon as the clock struck 5 they asked us to leave even though we missed the first 20 minutes.
We expressed our concerns with manager emma who seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and we were bluntly told we couldnt have another round and had to leave (completely going against what the other staff member said).
This was a shambles from start to finish, the service was terrible, the volume of drinks was horrendous, the staff were extremely rude and the food was incredibly average.
Love this place (but seriously atrocious service!)
The Water’s Edge, Broad Street, Birmingham
I love this place. Love the colours, the music and the vibe. And the food selection is pretty great too!
But….…..it is certainly a very good job that ‘Iguanas’ scores so high in so many areas, because having come a good number of times over the last 2 years (including twice in the last 2 weeks), the service is consistently atrocious! And I do mean ATROCIOUS! Consistently. And tonight’s visit prompted me to finally ‘scribble’ this review.
To qualify my comments further, I can honestly say that the service at THIS Las Iguanas is the worst I have ever experienced in any chain restaurant by quite a long margin. I have literally stood at an empty bar (both when dining alone and also with company) every single time I’ve visited and I/we have been pretty much completely ignored for up to twenty minutes. Same applies when waiting to be seated, in the end having not even being acknowledged as staff walked back and forth past us, we seated ourselves and went on the hunt for menus.
On the previous occasion, the manager was present and apologised, asking one of the staff to please serve us. 10 minutes later, having been ignored herself, the manager returned and said that she would serve us.
Even when using the ‘DIY option’ of scanning and ordering at the table, when having a query, it proved impossible to get assistance. We literally had to follow the serving staff up to the till (more than once) to get their attention and ask for any additional items.
Just a couple of other noteworthy points for potential diners; some of the fave dishes often appear to have ‘run out’, the bottle of red wine we ordered tonight was ice cold and we had to ask if it could be popped in some warm water for a few mins - only to have to go to the bar to ask for it back before (a) it was too warm and (b) we had finished our food.
At this point in my review, it should be said that the very first time anyone has asked if everything by is okay, or if we need anything else, is Malik, who saw one of our party approaching the bar (this time for a glass of water). Well done Malik!
And it’s worth pointing out that each of these visits has been early/midweek with an absolute maximum of 15% capacity. We can only conclude that the consistently appalling service is down to the management.
A real pity, but no doubt the faithful (like me) will continue to return…..at least until something comparable opens nearby. Then Las Iguanas will HAVE TO improve; or it will be toast.
Poor staff and customer service
Visited the royal festival hall location in London. Overall food experience was ok. Very expensive only went as I had a voucher. The waitress didn’t use it correctly and was told to contact customer service to be refunded the voucher amount. Over a week has passed with no reply from customer service. Poor experience with staff and customer service.
£160 for p poor food and rationing
£160 for p poor food and rationing. Over priced . It’s Coventry city Ffs lol . Five of us and we even took advantage of two buy one get one free cocktails! Myself and my partner are vegetarians, so opted for a side each as most meals were meat , we were served doll house size portions for nearly £8 a throw. 5 cheese bites , with a sprinkling of coriander. For the cost, the standard of food was quite poor . Lovely waitress though so I hope they pay her well . PS PLEASE check the unlawful service charge , which they do not tell you about . Read a few reviews on here and they rely on you not noticing. Very disingenuous and unlawful?

Bottomless brunch food menu is VERY limited. But the drinks are very nice so can’t complain too much.
Liverpool 1
Popped into the Liverpool 1 place for a bite to eat.
Good selection on menu. Came to take order in a reasonable time, drinks followed.
Waited around 40 minutes for food, first 2 dishes that came out were cold so sent them back. You can see the food hatch from the restaurant and considering the place wasn’t that busy there were loads of dishes sitting there for what seemed an age. 3 of our party had fajitas, they were dry and almost crispy, we had to send one of those back as it was burnt. Food overall was very tasty and I think let down by the service.
They did add a service charge which we asked to be removed.
Great food and Drinks
Really had a lovely time with the food and drink in the Trafford Centre restaurant. Unfortunately, they were a little understaffed when we went but they managed very well considering this issue.
Great work from the team, really appreciate how attentive they were to us.

MICHAL from Las Iguanas BASINGSTOKE was fantastic! Very accomodating, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we enjoyed our visit so much because of his lovely hospitality. Thank you so much 😊

Ok so went for dinner and drinks before going out in the town, used the Leicester branch a lot a couple of years ago but thought we’d give it a go.
The 3* allocation is based on the service from Julia the waitress and David and Liz the bartenders. The drinks were amazing but the food…… not good. Can only be described as a sloppy mess.
Left a tip for the bar staff and had no issue stating this was for the drinks alone as they were great but the food crap!
Half the restaurant is now closed off and used for storage and a rather large freezer opposite the booths, the whole place used to have a real good funky vibe but that’s gone!
Feels like this location has suffered from lack of interest or investment.
Bill came to £211 so not a cheap poor experience for 3 people! Took our mate for his birthday and wish we’d gone elsewhere.
Pop in for a drink because a cocktail is all that’s great about it now.
Bottomless brunch
Went for bottomless brunch on a busy afternoon. Drinks (jugs) just kept coming. Food was spot on couldn’t fault the service…our waiter was on the ball keeping our group of 11 happy.

Food was a decent size but service was poor! The lady came over to ask if we were ready to order, we said not just yet and she just stood there waiting for us to order really awkwardly. She didn’t write anything down which led to her bringing us the wrong things. We got the wrong cocktail, she forgot to give me my drink and she messed up our starters. When a different guy came over to give us our drinks he said “oh she’s put the order through wrong again” so this must be a common thing I suppose.
Luke was amazing
Luke was amazing! So friendly
And accommodating. We had a lovely time and the staff were so friendly in including sarah who greeted us and showed us to our table. We will be going back very soon
Went for a bottomless brunch
Went for a bottomless brunch. Could not believe how tiny the food is. Order additional meal go try satisfy my hunger. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the charge for sooooo little. I won’t be returning. Shame as this is the first out of four visits that the service had been acceptable.
