Been to the one next to Wembley stadium a few times, food’s decent enough at that price bracket, good service, friendly staff. Normally go for happy hour cocktails, unfortunately, when an event is on... See more

First time in any Las Iguanus
First time in any Las Iguanus. This was Bracknell. Service appallingly slow. Staff just don't seem to care or really want to be there. If they were understaffed then close half the tables so you can service customers properly. Request water and it never arrives so you have to chase for it. Had to chase when will food be ready. Food not bad but service dreadful. We prefer to dine where the service is good and customers seem valued. Las Iguanus is not for us again.
Cocktails were weak and tasteless
Cocktails were weak and tasteless, my burrito was the thinnest burrito I’ve ever seen, hardly any filling. Music was so loud we couldn’t have a proper conversation - will never go there again. Leeds restaurant
Poor food at Southampton branch
Recently visited the Southampton branch. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and efficient.
It has been a few years since we have been to a Las Iguanas. Previous visits to the London O2, Portsmouth and Cardiff have always been good, with a decent choice of well prepared food.
This wasn't the case recently. The menu was pretty uninspiring.
We were surprised when the food arrived just 5 minutes after being ordered. The veggie burrito was warm enough, but contained hard vegetables. The rice and black bean sauce were cold. Similar story with the loaded chicken, and the chicken itself was lukewarm and covered in congealed gritty cheese sauce.
Dessert was no better, the brownie was mush, and while the cheesecake was good, it came served on a warm dish.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRRR
I am writing with deep disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred during our recent visit to your establishment. On the evening of the 28th of February 2024, my partner and I, along with our friends, visited Las Iguanas to celebrate our 8th year anniversary. What should have been a joyous occasion turned into a deeply unpleasant experience due to the reprehensible behaviour of one of the staff members.
Upon arriving at Las Iguanas, we were enticed by your advertised brunch deal for £25, which concluded at 11 pm. However, upon inquiring about the offer, we were informed by your staff that a booking was required. Understanding this requirement, we promptly made a booking online for brunch at 8 pm to enjoy the deal.
Unfortunately, the evening took a turn when we were attended to by a waiter named Byron. We informed Byron about the new booking and asked if it was okay to now enjoy the brunch menu, excited to enjoy our anniversary. In an act of utter unprofessionalism and disrespect, Byron directed offensive language towards my partner, labelling our decision to book for brunch at 8 pm as "c***ish." We were completely taken aback and appalled by his choice of language, which not only violated basic standards of decency but also tarnished what should have been a memorable evening for us.
When we expressed our shock and asked Byron to clarify what he had said, he callously repeated his offensive remark calling my partner a ‘C***’, leaving us feeling deeply disrespected and uncomfortable. Such behaviour is entirely unacceptable and has no place in any establishment that purports to provide a welcoming and hospitable environment for its patrons.
As a result of Byron's actions, our anniversary celebration was completely ruined. The incident left us feeling humiliated and distressed, overshadowing what should have been a special occasion shared with loved ones.
Bryon then left the restaurant floor to make a phone call. We drank the drinks we had already ordered and then another waiter approached us asking if we wanted any food. Due to Bryon’s offensive language, we wanted to leave the restaurant promptly. We requested the bill, which was provided to us with the service charge added. I stated there is no way we are paying the service charge and for it to be removed. Bryon stated he was sorry for using the language, but our evening was already ruined, and we left the restaurant.
I implore you to review your staff training protocols to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
While I am deeply disappointed by our experience at Las Iguanas, I hope that your prompt and sincere response to this complaint will demonstrate your commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Do not waste your time or money!
We went to the branch at Stratford Westfield. We had two of the "happy hour" cocktails which still cost £7 each. They were vile! Some pre-made cheap junk, we couldn't even finish them. But there was worse to come - the food! We ordered two plates of nachos, one plate calamari, one plate beach cheese and patatas bravas. There was scarcely any sauce, cheese etc on the nachos and the nachos had no flavour. Both the calamari and the patatas bravas consisted of tiny overcooked balls with no distinguishable flavour. The cheese was nice. The bill for this pile of rubbish was £75 as the service charge is automatically included and to be fair the waitress was nice. Never ever again!!!
Amazing service quality food & drink
Amazing service quality food & drink
NOT Mexican nor Latin American food
Location: Resorts World Birmingham (NEC).
Food experience: 1 out of 10 (poor towards rubbish)
Reason: They call 2 skewers (one chicken one beef) on microwaveble rice (bag) bed with sweet corn from a can and fries.... ready? Argentinian "Mixed Grill" Price: 27£ for one portion.
They have the audacity to ask for a tip befor being served (we ordered on app).
We waited forever to be seated although it was not busy.
Nobody asked if the food was allright.
Rice was cold.
Overall experience: appalling.
It was relatively busy in the wembley…
It was relatively busy in the wembley branch and the staff were trying they're hardest to keep up. The staff were very polite and friendly even though they were busy.
I checked the bill after and found that the optional service charge was added to the bill but there hadn't been an option to give the value of my choice when I paid. I do leave a tip but choose to give in cash so the actual staff member can get the tip directly. So in actual fact I have paid a tip directly to the staff member and als9 a tip added to my bill that says optional but clearly isn't optional. I think that this is misleading as it was a low value meal and yet I have had no choice but to pay.
Drinks great food poor
The drinks were flowing but the food wasn’t 👍 other bottomless brunches had more of a substantial menu with starters and deserts
Resorts world in Brum..
Resorts world in Brum... food was super and so was Millie our waitress . She was outstanding and a really hard working girl. Throughout the visit she smiled and was informative on the cocktails.
Las Iguanas: Avoid
Las Iguanas is supposed a restaurant which offers a medley of Mexican and Latin American dishes…perhaps they need to ask Mexicans and Latin Americans to taste the rubbish they churn out. It’s truly disgusting, tasteless crap, hot sauce is not seasoning, plus half the stuff they said they had sold out of, yeah right!
We visited the Milton Keynes branch where we were met with a passive aggressive attitude by the staff with a side order of waitress with the common sense of a donkey.
When their original branch was in the shopping mall, the food was quite nice, staff were well trained and the restaurant had a much better atmosphere. However clearly, they’ve cut back on quality all round and it shows.
The experience I can only liken to if the prison service were to open a restaurant, hired the cleaning staff to cook, take your order and serve your food. Needless to say, we won’t be visiting any of their restaurants again.
FYI, if I could give minus 5 Stars I would.

Went for dinner this evening with some work colleagues. The host was amazing and very good at her job. The waitress didn't seem very bothered with serving. She dropped our drinks on the table which i understand things happen but we already waited long for them. Then waited a long time for the food and wasn't to standard. Wouldn't come back as not worth the money.
Dead mouse on arrival
A recent visit to Gunwharf branch in Portsmouth with the family we were greeted by a dead mouse by the bar,as we were asked if we had a booking I pointed this out and the reply I got was oh its because we are by a port.
We were shown to our table and the dead rodent was never mentioned again.
I saw someone take a picture of it ,then remove it.
I filled in the relevant reports on the website but have never heard a thing.
Obviously not important, will be reporting to health authorities.
Glasgow Las Iguanas - food good, waitress poor
Glasgow Las Iguanas. Food and drink was very good but service lacklustre, impersonal and cold. Waitress called Kate who sounded Australian. We thoroughly enjoyed our mixed grill and cocktails (although spicy margarita arrived minus jalapeños and bottle of beer was served without a glass). Waitress couldn’t care less and was unfriendly. She had minimal manners and treated paying customers with an air of disrespect. That attitude gets a huge thumbs down and due to our experience doubt we will be back again. Wish we didn’t leave a 10% tip now and we spent quite a bit in the restaurant. Train your staff better in customer service! Left a bad taste after a decent meal.
Visited las iguanas leeds on NYE for …
Visited las iguanas leeds on NYE for bottomless brunch which i appreciate is one of the busiest times of the year. We arrived 15 minutes late at 7.45 due to a train delay and we’re told they had given our table away despite paying £20 deposit. They told us we could have a table at 8.30 but no one ever came to get us so had to ask again. Finally got seated at 8.45 and service was so so poor, again appreciate they are really busy but i have visited other restaurants at this time and service has been much better. Was waiting 40 minutes between drinks and food was cold and incorrect order received. Once finished took ages to get the bill and ended up being in this restaurant for 5 hours. Will not be returning at all and especially on new years. Be aware that they will give your table up if you are 10 minutes late!!
Customer service terrible
Customer service terrible. Food was nice. But didn't make up for bad service.
Visited the Trafford Centre one
Visited the Trafford Centre one, was served by Patty G and service was great, food was hot and tastes well
Poor quality of service
I was very disappointed with the service at the restaurant from Sheffield Meadowhall. We were asked to use the QR code to place an order, which was not very polite. Additionally, since one of us wanted something from the starter category and the rest of us wanted something from the main menu category, nobody informed us to tick the option to be served all at the same time, not separately like starters and main dishes. We waited for more than 30 minutes to be served, despite having paid for everything we ordered, including the service fee. Of course, it was our fault for not paying attention to something that wasn’t highlighted on the app. Overall, it was a very unprofessional experience. ☹️
A very good food but very poor service! Hope that kind of services to be improved soon.
Terrible Food
Terrible Food - Avoid
I was looking forward to going to eat out and my friends booked Las Iguanas.
I ordered the Fajita Stack and it was terrible. Cold.
I will never go back. Avoid them
Burnt food
Burnt food! Cocktails full of ice literally not even 2 mouthfuls of alcohol in the glasses and for 2 people cost 76 pound. Talk about rip off!!!!!!
