Absolute scam
Absolute scam. I wear distance glasses and lenses and I decided to look for LASIK options so I went through LASIK-EYES online form and got a call back from their call center. I answered all their questions and explained it’s a first time eye surgery, no history of complications, mid aged and it’s just the simple standard LASIC option. They said the starting price is less than £600 an eye and it may vary after the consultation. They book me an appointment the next week with a local optic center in my area for today. We are all so excited that it was so easy and the price sounds reasonable until yesterday afternoon (1 day prior to the appointment) someone from the local center calls and repeats the same questions and then says the starting cost would be £3000 and it may increase after the consultation. I respond that I have responded to all these questions before and the price was not what I was told by LASIC-EYES before I accepted to provide my details and book an appointment. He didn’t care and said this is our prices so I told him to cancel the appointment. Disappointed and annoyed. It feels like LASIC-EYES is false advertising for these centers to lure potential customers with low pricing ads then embarrass them by centers and accepting higher prices.

Laser eye surgery
As per other reviewer the service they offer appears to be to introduce you to optical express. I was called following completion of online enquiry form. I asked for reasons why i wouldn't just approach optical express directly. Person i spoke to was unable to offer any explanation.
Pushed to go with Optical Express as the ONLY option right now (not the case)
I spoke to Lasik-Eyes.co.uk about my options just now. I live in central London and have been told that the only option at the moment is Optical Express (which is also heavily favoured on their website - always comes as a top result, etc.). I have personally spoken to three other clinics, including London Vision Clinic which is listed on the Lasik-Eyes.co.uk website, and can confirm all are receiving patients. I asked the representative of Lasik-Eyes.co.uk whether they have a partnership with Optical Express considering they told me it's the only option for me and she was unable to deny or clarify further, just kept on apologising (for what? - unclear).
I don't normally write reviews but this really bothered me because vision is such a sensitive topic and consumers really care about their research - pretending to be independent and then rigging results is unacceptable. Give us the choice.
