Excellent service particularly during the planning stages and during the trip itself

We had a great holiday with Latin Routes. The organisation was first class and all the members of the company to whom we spoke were helpful and friendly. Partners in Peru were just as supportive to us and tours and travel arrangements worked exactly as planned.

Every thing went very well. We were diverted because of bad weather from Buenos Aires airport to Rosairo some 200 miles away and were worried that there would be no-one to meet us at BA when we finally arrived after midnight but a call to the local handling agent solved the problem without drama.

I was very impressed with the time taken by the two sales people who dealt with my inquiry. They answered all my crazy questions. I received prompt communications by way of a very professional looking folder which contained all necessary documents, useful advice and more importantly contact details in the event of any emergency.
Everything worked like clockwork, from being collected at the airport to our stay and then being taken back to the airport.
The actual lodge we stayed at surpassed all our expectations and we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble.
I understand that some members of Latin Routes have visited this particular lodge and hence they could speak with some authority.
It was an experience that none of my family will ever forget and for all the right reasons.

Lydia was very responsive in helping us achieve the packed time-constrained schedule we wanted for our trip to Ecuador, Galapagos and Peru. It needed a lot of work to ensure that the relevant elements involving boats/planes/trains could be achieved. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

From first contact through to the end of our holiday we felt like we were in excellent hands. I usually end up doing a lot of research for a holiday but after discussing what we wanted I was happy to let Latin Routes just handle it. Logistics and tour guides were first class. With the benefit of hindsight we may have changed the timings on two of the days but it would have been many more if we'd have organized things ourselves.
We had a great holiday.

What I loved most about Latin Routes was the first conversation with Thomas who wanted to really find out about the type of person I was to fully understand the type of holiday/experience I would enjoy. I explained to Thomas how special this trip was to me being a celebration of my 50th and also because I hadn't had so much time off work for 8 years. He really seemed to take great care of finding something that suited me. There was a little bit of a blip when we didn't think we were going to get the hotel that was suggested in Torres del Paine when this was quite a highlight of the trip but it was all resolved. Maybe it could have been explained better that the itinerary that is sent out is sometimes subject to change due to availability. However, the speed and courtesy of the team were faultless. The hotel that was arranged in Buenos Aires probably wouldn't have been my first choice, it was a little tired but the focus was on tango so I can definitely see why Thomas chose it and it was certainly in a good location for tango. Maybe Latin Routes can go out and revisit some of the places they have been using just to check the standards again as there are many new places that are the same prices that seem to offer better facilities and are in slightly nicer areas. It all comes down to what you want from the experience I suppose.
The pick ups/transfers were super slick and I had absolutely no issues at all. Everything ran smoothly. I had no flight problems and all the hotel reservations were arranged and were smooth. Patagonia was breathtaking!! It certainly was the trip of a life time.
Overall, I think that the areas that Thomas suggested to me were perfect for what I wanted to do. He did a fantastic job of putting together a package for me that suited my personality and needs. I would highly recommend Latin Routes - The service was superb! :-)

Our two-week trip to Bolivia was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We would wholeheartedly recommend both Latin Routes and Bolivia as a destination.

Need to develop better concierge services and improved digital application

We are keen but aging walkers and wanted to go trekking in Patagonia. We also wanted en-suite accommodation. Latin Routes put together a superb itinerary which even allowed us to do the famous W-trek in Las Torres National Park. Hotels in Argentina and Chile were great and in Las Torres itself the hotel was all inclusive. All the flights and transfers were provided by Latin Routes plus guided tours of Buenos Aires, Punta Arenas and Santiago. Also included were stays in El Chalten (superb walking to view Mount Fitzroy) and El Calafate (glacier viewing). It was like having a whole series of adventures over a two week period and somehow cheaper than travelling with a group! We would thoroughly recommend Latin Routes: just talk to them and let them pull together an itinerary just for you.

We arranged a five week trip to Chile, Argentina and Brazil. This involved around 12 flights, a Patagonian expedition and some great city visits to Buenos Aries and Rio. Latin Routes provided an excellent service from initial contact right through to extra support while we were travelling. We were met on arrival at each location by English speaking guides who were very knowledgable and informative, and extremely punctual. Highlights of our trip were many and included Atacama Desert, Iguazu Falls, Patagonia and white water rafting. We would recommend Latin Routes to anyone considering visiting South Smerica.

Having just returned from a trip organised by Latin Routes to Chile,Argentina and Brazil we would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone looking to plan a trip to South America.
The expert advice, information and service provided at the time of booking was first class, from the early planning of our itinerary to the implementation of and the actual service experienced on our trip was excellent.
The guides provided and services we received in each country visited were very professional and although we travelled at times independently the connections and transportation pick ups worked seamlessly. Having travelled extensively independently we have also used other travel companies when planning trips, non of which offered the expert knowledge and degree of service that Latin Routes provided if your thinking of planning to visit South America which is a fantastic place to visit I would thoroughly recommend booking with Latin Routes’s.

Our first adventure in South America was an amazing experience. With expert guidance from Aurelie and then latterly from Thomas, we arranged a trip to explore Chile. And what a fascinating country it is! From the out-of-this-world scenery of the Atacama Desert, through the verdant Lake District area down to Patagonia, finishing off in the beautiful wine district. Patagonia was our favourite stop (snow-topped mountains, glaciers, soaring Condors - fabulous) and we loved sleeping in our yurt at Patagonia Camp. We could have stayed there longer.

This trip, which went perfectly without a hitch, has certainly inspired us to explore more of South America and we'd have no hesitation in asking Latin Routes to help us put together an itinerary again.

Our holiday in Brazil was our first organised by Latin Routes. They were very friendly and helpful, especially in the planning stage when advising what was possible/desirable, Everything went like clockwork and the guides were excellent..

We had an exellent holiday in Chile. Latin Routes helped us to make our holiday itinerary swiftly. We had unique and interesting hotels where we would like to go back again. The company supported us through our holiday. All information and documents were given to us before we left the UK. We received all detailed travel documents on the first day of holiday from a local travel agency. We had on going support from the agency while we were in Chile.

All the arrangements made by Latin Routes worked like a dream. Cars and guides were always there to meet me at airports and were early at hotels. All the hotels were as expected with only a couple of minor niggles which were not their fault. All in all for a fairly complicated itinerary with lots of domestic flights everything was stress free which is just what you want especially when travelling alone. I would recommend Latin Routes without hesitation.

This was the first time I had dealt with Latin Routes.
From the very first conversation with their member of staff, Owen, I felt that he was interested in what I wanted rather than what he wanted to sell me. However he came up with suggestions with good reasons and worked very hard over a couple of weeks to come up with an itinerary that suited our energy levels and time restraints. We were a group of eight ranging in ages from 62 to 75. He kept that in mind and suggested and upon acceptance started booking out trips and excursions. all the Ground Handlers were excellent - good guides, drivers and receiving staff at airports. They were always there on time and very very helpful.
The only point I would make very strongly is that they should not book people to travel with Avianca Airlines internally. They were diabolical. They lied to us that the flights to Cusco were not taking off from Lima due to weather conditions in Lima on a beautiful morning and all other airlines were happily taking off. The then redirected us on a flight to Cusco via Bogota in Columbia and a flight that was supposed to take 4 hours took us 16-18 hrs. and even after that, every flight internally was delayed and they only let us know of delays at the last moment. delays were upto 4 -6 hrs. This was no fault of Latin Routes but I have registered a very strong complaint with Latin Routes about this and hope the will not use that airline again. Galapagos cruise was excellent and so was Peruvian Amazon Forest. All the hotels and lodges were excellent.

Latin Routes gave me plenty of options to consider and although gave me advice left me to make my own decision.
Latin Routes looked after me from start to finish and I was not left in any doubt re transfers etc. The holiday was all I wanted and more and that was in no small part to the planning from Martin. Having it all organised added to the cost but it was worth it for the satisfaction, reassurance and comfort given I am a single traveller and travelling in a country where I didn’t speak the language. I was travelling from Antarctica to Rio via Iguazú.
Paperwork was efficient and precise and nothing was too much trouble for Martin - in his words no question is a daft question better to ask than not!
Not the first time I have used Latin Routes and it won’t be the last.

Always spoke to the same helpful staff member who knew exactly what was happening and found out anwers to any questions she didn't know the answer to already. They did their best to get us on appropriate flights to suit us though we were booking quite late so there was less choice to be had.
Holiday went perfectly. All guides arrived on time, were helpful, polite and spoke good English . They were brilliant getting us through the airport desks quickly, though we did have to queue in Rio for a long time with Gol - not the fault of Latin Routes. The individual tours were great and helped us avoid the busiest and hottest times.
Generally we got good information about the countries from them and a lovely summary booklet of our schedule. They really seemed to know what they were doing.
