our trip involved a lot of travelling around Chile and Argentina. it all ran very smoothly, we were always picked where expected and at the right time. the hotels booked on our behalf were always excellent, and the staff very helpful.

I would definitely book with this company again.

We travelled with friends from the U.S. and had been talking about this trip for about 18 months, but couldn't find exactly what we all wanted. We met Emma at a UK travel show and explained that we wanted to include elements from various other trips available and travel at a specific time. Her knowledge was amazing and she managed to put together a bespoke package, which delivered beyond our expectations.

Our trip went smoothly and was at a pace that was just right, without wasting valuable time waiting around in airports or on long travelling days between areas.

All accommodation met expectations and local agents/organisation on the ground was superb.

We have recently returned from a trip to Colombia organised through Latin Routes. The arrangements were excellent throughout with a range of excellent accommodation and seamless transfers as we moved around the country. This is the second time we have travelled to South America with the company and our experience was again first class.

When we decided to go to Antarctica we picked Polar Routes from the internet at random and could not have made a better choice. From our very first contact with Thea we have been completely satisfied. She offered us a choice of cruises and after discussion with her we chose Hebridean Sky. She answered all our queries patiently and efficiently and all the arrangements worked perfectly. All cars, drivers, guides met us as planned, we were very happy with our hotel in Buenos Aires on our first night and particularly appreciated the platter of cheese and bottle of wine we found in our room, provided by Polar Routes. The cruise itself was an amazing experience which demonstrated that the original advice was spot on.

Latin Routes were amazing at helping us to plan our wonderful trip to Peru and Brazil. They listened carefully to our requirements, including budget, and seemed to quickly get a feel for the sort of holiday we wanted. Everyone we spoke to in the office were always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Rosie was brilliant organising everything, tweaking any slight changes we wanted and sorting out any minor timing issues. She gave us excellent advice which so often is difficult to get these days. Everything went to plan while we were away and the only things that we had problems with, which were way beyond anyone’s control, were sorted out quickly and efficiently by the staff in Peru.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Latin Routes and indeed we met others while we were away who we know were equally pleased with their holiday experiences.

Latin Routes provided a first class service from beginning to end. They had excellent knowledge of Argentina and their partners in the country provided first class support during the trip. I would recommend anyone thinking of making a trip to South America to contact them.

Latin Routes organised our honeymoon in Peru. Everything was amazing from start to finish! It was a jam packed 3 weeks and every detail had been organised to perfection! We can’t thank you enough for the most unforgettable honeymoon!

At the planning stage our adviser was most enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Brazil and following careful checking of our tastes and interests produced the perfect itinerary for us. It was unrushed and varied so we feel we had a good flavour of this vast and varied country. Throughout our holiday all the pickups and transfers were on time and there was always someone with a notice board with our name to meet us upon arrival at an airport. The quality of the accommodation was very good overall and the Pousadas were particularly enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Brazil. Having visited five South American countries and used four different travel companies Latin Routes is up there with the best.

Excellent service from Owen at Latin Routes from my initial enquiry on Peru and Bolivia to my return to UK; especially when my return flight was cancelled at the airport in La Paz and Owen rearranged all my connecting flights onto the next available flights back to UK without additional costs. Their local guides were knowledgeable and very accommodating; hotels selected and land transport were very good. Correspondence by phone or email were promptly replied. I would say I had excellent value for the cost of my holiday and I would certainly use them again on my next trip to South America.

Latin Routes did a wonderful job in creating an excellent holiday plan for us in South America. We had a rough outline of what we wanted to do at the outset and they listened carefully, talked our plans through with us, and made good suggestions. They then produced a holiday plan that met exactly what we wanted to do and had discussed with them.

The holiday itself was then exceedingly well managed and Latin Routes partners in Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina made sure that everything happened as we had arranged with Latin Routes.

We have no hesitation in recommending Latin Routes and would happily consider using them again for our next South American trip.

Best trip ever, made so much easier by the guidance of our fabulous agent, Lydia. We had contacted a number of companies and had an outline plan of what we wanted to do. Latin Routes made suggestions on how we could fit it all in and what else we may want to include, then organised it efficiently, communicating with us constantly to update and tweak as we needed. The concierge service, too, was excellent, answering questions and giving advice up to the off and beyond. We contacted a number of companies with ideas about holidays in South America. Latin Routes were definitely the best in terms of advice and value. We did not know exactly what we wanted to do and Thomas provided excellent advice and alternatives. We received lots of information before we went and the concierge service was also helpful in adding some additional trips after we booked. While we were there all of the guides and transport were excellent.

What a fabulous trip made so much easier with the planned itinerary. We went to a local travel show with an idea,sort of plan,cost ,and additional trip to meet non travellers. We were listened to, got what we asked for,amazing service from start to finish. We recently travelled to Peru to do the Inca trek to Machu Picchu on a trip that was booked with Latin Routes, their fantastic organisation meant that we could relax as all our transfers and hotels were sorted out, the staff in Peru were excellent and made everything run like clockwork.
Once on the trek our guides and the support staff made the tough journey a pleasure, Rey and Marcella (our guides) were exceptional, they motivated you with their enthusiasm and made the whole adventure fun, the other thing that made the whole experience even more memorable was the other trekkers, the mixture of ages and abilities of the group was perfect, and everyone got one well with each other.
It was an experience we’ll never forget and despite if being a challenging trek it was all worth while when we finally caught our first site of Machu Picchu.
The support staff on the trek and especially the cooks performed miracles, the standard of food was as good as many restaurants and when you consider where we were and what equipment they has it was a triumph, they even made Carol a lovely birthday cake, which with no oven just a two ring burner was a miracle in itself.
The hotels were all of a good standard as was the transportation between airports and hotels, all the guides spoke good English and were polite and friendly.
The trips that were arranged for us in Cusco were also very interesting and despite our tiredness after the trek we enjoyed them immensely and in truth walking around made our aches and pains seem a lot better.
We would highly recommend Latin Routes to anyone who was planning a journey to this part of the world, the trip was all we could have wished for and more, we will have stories to tell for years to come.

Brazil is a huge and amazing country and detailed consultations with Thomas produced an itinerary perfect for us - sightseeing, a bit of culture, a bit of soft adventure and wildlife, and a beach to finish. We stayed in 4 completely different areas, flying between them. The hotels were all of the kind we prefer, in excellent locations for the sights of the area. We were met and transported to and from airports and had one or two guided days for the main sights and some free days to find our own way. All the guides were great, spoke good English and gave advice for free time and where to eat etc. Latin Routes created a trip which was exactly what we wanted and, really, couldn't have been bettered.

We had a fabulous holiday organised by Latin Routes, everything ran smoothly and the support was excellent. The Inca Trail trek was amazing and our guide made the whole experience, with his gentle support and upbeat manner.

I booked a trip through Latin Routes to Argentina having met the managing director of the company Martin Johnson at a travel exhibition at Olympia and was very impressed by what he had to offer.
Martin put together a trip which enabled us to travel to Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Salta and finally El Calafate. This involved 5 internal flights and multiple hotels and travel guides.
I was assigned a concierge to deal with everything to do with the trip before we travelled. Lydia Groom was our concierge and whatever and whenever I called with a quetion (which I did frequently!) she was so helpful. I should add that if she was not in the office another member of the team would be equally helpful.
All of this made me very confident that the trip would go smoothly.
So on September 6 we left the UK for our 2 week trip.
We have traveled to many places but this trip was truly the most amazing yet!
Our experience was greatly enhanced by superb guides who Latin Routes organised through their partners on the ground.
We loved BA but were blown away by the wonder of Iguazu Falls. It is impossible to truly describe the experience You HAVE to be there!
Salta was a great place to enjoy the landscape and chill!
Last but certainly not least the Glaciers in Patagonia. Again words cannot describe the beauty of this natural phenomenon
We look forward to using Latin Routes again as we will definitely be returning to South America and would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same

We had a magnificent, albeit physically challenging holiday, in Peru that they put together and managed for us with considerable competence. I would also say in passing that Lima Tours, who Latin Routes contract out their ground operations to in Peru,were consistently superb.
