First class service and arrangements via Owen for our trip to Chile and Peru. We were their first clients for Robinson Crusoe Island and what an amazing adventure that was - very special time and so pleased our plans allowed it to happen when others were saying impossible.

We also visited San Pedro de Atacama and Easter Island in Chile and Cusco / Machu Pichu in Peru. Nothing to fault in travel, hotels or tours. Would recommend 100% the personal approach. It is going to be very hard to beat this trip wherever we go next!

Good advice given in early planning to cater to our particular interests and needs. Good choice of accommodation in terms of facilities and locations. The links with partner companies Lima Tours and GAdventures meant we had excellent guides who kept us well informed about our itinerary and were extremely knowledgeable about what we were visiting. There was a good balance between guided time and free time, and advice was always given on what to do in our free time. Transfers were all well managed and we were kept informed about any adjustments.
Would not hesitate to recommend Latin Routes to anyone seeking a South American holiday.

This is the second trip to South America we have done with Latin Routes- this time Colombia! We knew what we wanted to do and see when there but Tom helped us to plan it, and gave us such an amazing experience (he had recently travelled there). We travelled from Bogotá to Medellin Cartagena Santa Marta Minca and Tayrona National Park where we stayed in a ecohab where we could trek and explore!
We felt by the end of our trip that we had such an insight into the Country with its history/ arms/drug conflicts and how the majority of people want peace! The people are welcoming and it was a privilege to talk with some of these effected!

We were looking for pre and post cruise add-ons and Rosy listened to what we hoped to get, types of Hotel we like and experiences too. The best bits were Iguassu Falls where the hotel and experiences were beyond brilliant.
I highly recommend the service which came at a sensible price compared to some others. The planning was enjoyable as it felt we were working together rather than being sold what they wanted to sell us.

From the moment that I enquired with Latin Routes about a tailored holiday in Brazil, I knew that I would end up with a truly memorable holiday and so it proved!
Through a series of re-iterations with Lydia, I ended up with a 15 day trip staying in four contrasting locations (Salvador, Chapada Diamantina National Park, Rio De Janeiro & Ilha Grande) and a whole series of tours/excursions.
Their chosen hotels were excellent and all in good locations, all travel arrangements went off without a hitch, the guides who picked me up at hotels, were knowledgeable, spoke English and the tours really helped me see and understand Brazil.

Latin Routes organised a month long journey through Patagonia for the 2 of us. The trip involved 5 long distance bus journeys, 4 internal flights, 2 train trips ,and a cruise round Tierra Del Fuego. We stayed in 12 different hotels. Everything went smoothly, all the trips were on time. We were met at each of the stops by courteous and well informed guides who took us from the airport/bus station to our hotel.

Our holiday was put together entirely on the recommendations of Martin, who we met at the Destinations show, based on our interests and couldn't have been better. The 4 week trip was outstanding and went very smoothly thanks to the high quality partner companies used by Latin Routes throughout South America. We had excellent guides, good hotels and efficient, friendly and comfortable transfers throughout our trip. We could relax and enjoy exploring without having to worry about anything. We soon ran out of superlatives to describe the amazing places that we visited and are truly grateful for all the recommendations and planning by Latin Routes. Latin Routes organised a trip for us to Latam which was not only very well advised, put perfectly organised and a comparatively attractive price. Local support was available wherever required. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

The itinerary worked well, & the hotels were very good (some much more than that). We stayed in 8 different places, with travel (planes, cars etc) in between. All went well, with no "hiccups".

We used Latin Routes for the first time this year for our first trip to Brazil, having been recommended by a trusted travel agent. Everything went smoothly, we have never had such excellent guides at each destination we chose. The hotels were perfect for our requirements, a mix of luxury and boutique. We had requested quite a complicated itinerary, and it went like clockwork - no hesitation in giving them a 5-star rating.

This visit fulfilled a long held desire to visit this area.
The preparation provided by Rosie, our agent and the team, by listening initially to our interests, helped in advising and guiding us in choosing an exciting and suitable itinerary for a more mature age 70+. The team may be younger but have been trained to appreciate a wide range of traveller goals.
The glaciers, the mountains,lakes, volcanoes and cities were so exciting and culminated in the final stunning contrast of the Iguasu Falls.
Transfers were smooth, guides very informative & enthusiastic about their areas, accommodation comfortable and empathetic to the environment, food interesting.
We loved meeting the people and would love to revisit.
We would recommend Latin Routes to anyone.
NB Proper preparation prevents poor performance, Latin Routes more than met that criteria! Thank you.
