The management department have worked hard to maintain my portfolio and Regan often responds out of hours if the matter is urgent. She was extremely supportive throughout a difficult legal process with a tenant and I recommend her wholeheartedly. The team around her are equally courteous and helpful.

Really poor from Leaders Southend. Moved out over 4 weeks ago and have not had my deposit returned. Despite multiple calls and emails to the agent I am still awaiting my deposit.

We were let down the day before we were due to move out of our previous accommodation by a landlord who no longer wanted to let their property. Leaders sorted this for us and quickly moved our references to out current landlord and we moved in within a few days.

Got the house to rent same day from Leaders.

Leaders have our rent money and are ghosting us, now 9 days past the rent payment date with no communications.
Serious concerns over their financial stability. They keep blaming our tenants for not paying us but we are in contact with our tenants and they have shown us proof that it is not their fault. Leaders seem to have a cash flow problem (one of many).
Our tenants are furious at having to prove payments every time, like they have done something wrong when it is Leaders who cannot get their house in order. Steer well clear.

Useless company when it comes to customer service. Have had my account in arrears every month because they cannot get a simple date change right even after being told multiples times after multiple emails and e signs. Get told I’ll get call backs and never do. Overall pretty bad experience with them.

End of tenancy deposit still not received after 5 weeks , formal complaint lodged , spoke to several agents promising call back within 2 hours as the manager was every time in lunch break even at 11 am never received
Several emails responded after more than a week or ignored
Requested to escalate to higher level , no reply received . Money still sitting in their bank account and not in mine with unacceptable delay. Time for a call to a lawyer?

Just wanted to give a big shout out and say Thank You to Leaders and the great staff in the lettings team especially Regan for doing what Managers should be doing and personally sorting out delayed accounts and rental issues. 👍😊.

We had an amazing experience with leaders our experience was great and our agent Sophia was amazing she went above and beyond for us and made our experience wonderful and easy we was kept up to date with all progresses and the team in leaders was truly amazing to work with and I wouldn’t have done it’s any other way.

We have had a great experience and help from Sophia Stanford as she has kept in contact with all the way through in find a property and help us with any difficulties we’ve had in completing forms.
She has been very respectful and polite and our experience has been nice and relaxed.

James, David and Charlie have gone over and above trying to help me get to the completion stage. They have helped and supported me, when I felt let down when the client care of the solicitors failed my expectations of this process. I cannot thank James, David and Charlie enough for their dedication, outstanding communication, professionalism and excellent client support. I have rented for many years through Leaders in Southend. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They take care of their tenants as well as their Landlords. Jo Clark has always gone the extra mile to make sure all concerned are happy. She’s a credit to the company. I highly recommend using Leaders. Always friendly and professional.

Was stung last summer by these cowboys. Had a sale agreed with a seller. Then leaders directed me to an external solicitors even though I already had one in place who then charged me £55 to do a credit check which i Iater found out I didn't even need to do When i stated to the solicitors i wasnt interested they then got shirty with me. Which then caused me to pull out of the sale. I'm now house hunting again and seeing a lot of properties I'm interested in from leaders but refuse to buy any listed with them now.

AVOID Terrible experience using the Southend office, I am a landlord and currently trying to move my business elsewhere and experiencing the same poor service I have experienced throughout using them - would not recommend
