We have rented my mother's house with Leaders for a number of years we have been extremely happy with the property management, our manager Adam has always been professional and manged all the problems to a high standard often going beyond what could have been expected, I have no hesitation in recommending them to any future clients, the house has now been sold due to probate
I commissioned leaders letting Agents of Worthing to find me a tenant for my just vacated property in Worthing. A representative attended the property and advised that the property would rent at around £1850 I thought this was excessive and advised that I would accept £1550 which was £50 more than my last tenant. I was advised that tenants would be snapping at my heals. And so it was, a prospective tenant paid a holding deposit and a full years rent on 10th October 2023. The tenant then moved in on 12th October. I received the deposit which I duly protected. On that Thursday I contacted Leaders and asked about the rent payment to me. I was told that the monies would have to go through accounts and I would be paid, probably on the Tuesday. I did express my displeasure and claimed that the delay in receiving my rent was unacceptable. I received nothing on the Tuesday and contacted Leaders to complain again. I have still not received any rent and the tenant has now had possession of the property for 9 days. I phoned the company head office and spoke to someone from the Lettings department about making an official complaint and the advisor explained that he needed to speak to a manager and would get back to me. At the time of writing I have had no such contact. I would suggest that a manager reviews the practices and procedures to make this a more streamlined experience for the customer.
The staff at this branch were fabulous from start to finish. Jade was at the end of the phone for all of our queries, supported us throughout the whole process and made a really difficult move as smooth as possible. Would highly recommend.
The staff in the Worthing office were so helpful and met all my expectations and requests. As I live so far away from the purchase they helped in arranging a number of viewings both before and after exchange of contracts.
First initial dealings with this bunch and what a disaster it was. They allowed a viewing to be booked in without telling us until the day of the viewing that it was only a 6 month let. What made it even worse is I saw the house up for sale with the these lot as well. I then approached their sales department to get an understanding and some clarity as to what was the deal with the house, I was met by an abrupt, rude and unhelpful agent who basically said he thinks it's been taken off the market. Well clearly it hasn't been taken off the market due to being told on the day of viewing that it's for 6 months. Bad practice and not clear on any of their lettings/sales.
Thanks to Rebecca Eager at Worthing who has made the whole process for us as landlords so much easier with her efficiency and proactive communication.
We appreciated the honest and knowledgable advice
Throughout the process and the fast response to our queries
Sales Manager was fantastic.Lifetime Legal's initial service & their recommended solicitor was appalling so we didn't use their solicitor. Your broker who you referred the Buyer to did not follow up with the Buyer (First time Buyer) so he lost his first mortgage offer because he did not know to pay the valuation fee & had to reapply to another mortgage lender & then change his solicitor to the new Lender's panel. The new solicitor was indolent in the process & took 2 months to familiarise himself with the file & caused more extreme delays sending enquiries that did not apply to us right up until the final day causing ongoing delays. Initially our solicitor with the Buyers first solicitor expected completion end of January so we gave our tenants notice to vacate 18th January but the Buyer losing his 1st mortgage offer only came to light about 7th January which resulted in us having to support an increasing mortgage, service charges & Council tax for 3 months without the benefit of rental which put us in financial difficulty & lost us £2,000 in equity which was small enough anyway. The Move Manager tried her best & was very supportive but most of the time I was more informed & up to date via my own solicitor. The sale was agreed 8th August 2022 & we only exchanged & completed 8 months later on 5th April 2023. This has been the most stressful sale of any property in our portfolio & the only property where we have used an Estate Agent. We sold 4 other Buy to Let properties privately and had no problems with the conveyancing process. To be frank we are highly disappointed with Leaders as well as their associates such as Lifetime Legal & Broker & would urge anyone NOT to use your services.

I have had a longest buying experience from BTL property which I can understand as it must be to do with solicitors work. Move manager was on the case all the time and chasing on my behalf to both parties. But felt that after completion every thing went silence. No calls from branch about key collection or information about tenant and their tenancy agreement which I knew was on rolling period. I had to call branch and email move manager about keys and to get contact information about tenant. I strongly felt that, Leaders would have entertained all my enquiries if I would have given them my customs as in managing property on my behalf but well it's all business so I can see reason why. I believe there has to be some sort of handover pack at the end that all completed, there is the key in envelope, all the details what tenant is paying and history and deposit options which again branch didn't know if tenant had a deposit in scheme of no deposit options. I felt I wasn't getting any answers unless I ask the question which again I dont understand why! but some basic customer service would have made me stay with them instead of going to Robert Luff & Co. Thank you.

Most useless agency regarding repairs in a rented house.
boiler problems (took them 5 weeks to sort out broken boiler on a bring of winter- freezing cold rooms),
Water problems (no hot water, poor pressure, sometimes no water at all for up to an hour) not solved for over 2 month even though they had multiple reports about the issue.
Leaking gutters, not fixed for over 6 month now
Same goes for pretty much any other problem that's been reported
Stay away from them!
