Do not use

Ordered boots from Leafy Souls, waterproof snow boots. Clearly stated could take 5 weeks to arrive, did take almost that long. My issue is that when they arrived I couldn’t get my foot into them due to the poor design and they stank of glue.

Followed up and tried to email, however no response after 2 days, having had a request to send a picture. I have a funny feeling they don’t really do e-commerce, more like take the money and run.

I’d strongly advise anyone not to purchase from this company.

I came across this company by chance…

I came across this company by chance online yesterday and thought they had some lovely items, made even more beautiful by being cruelty free. I placed an order for a bag and 2 dresses but it was quite late at the time and I didnt have my card details handy so didnt complete the order. I had every intention of completing the order but when I got up in the space of a few hours they had sent me a ton of really pushy emails urging me to complete my order as there was limited stock blah blah. I HATE this sort of aggressive sales, it really turns me off so I decided not to complete the order and unsubscribed from their mailing list. Its a shame, lots of lovely stuff I would have loved to purchase but not now.

the ordering process was easy

the ordering process was easy, the selection of items was awesome, very different and unique gifts! i especially appreciated the discount for purchasing more than 1 of the items. the website wasn't too overwhelming and the prices were fair. very excited to receive the items! and customer service was very responsive, even when i was just thanking them for the coupon post-order!

Bought two pairs of shoes using the…

Bought two pairs of shoes using the size chart they provided and after taking weeks to receive they didn't fit. After many emails back and forth I was informed they don't do exchanges unless they sent wrong size, but offered a small store credit of about $10 per pair. I spent nearly $100. I'm going to decline to bother with them anymore. Expensive lesson learned.

Smells a lot like fraud

This smells a lot like fraud! Leafy Souls is selling winter vegan womens waterproof snow boots for 63.70€ which they present as a reduction from 277.34€. The exact same boots are on sale on a different site for 9€!! – There is a blatant absence of important information on their site on how products are produced. Their customer service could not provide me with this information either. As a vegan caring about the ecological impact of an item, I cannot purchase from a site that is unable to specify production methods. Vegan companies usually also care about an ecological production chain but here they offer products without mentioning that they are made out of organic/recycled materials or that they are colored using eco-friendly dyes. There are no eco certificates. Therefore, products may be vegan, but they are produced under cheap and environmentally disruptive conditions and then sold (at a higher price) to people who care about being vegan - which is hardly cruelty free or ethical. It is sad when ‘vegan’ is being used for this type of advertisement.
Under ‘A Great Cause’ they claim that they ‘donate a percentage of’ their profits, however, fail to precise the percentage.

We would like to let you know that this claim is not true in any way as we do not source from the same place as the said company mentioned. Kindly note that we source our products from Vegan Supplier and manufacturer which may not be the case with the other store. Hence the price and quality difference.

You also mentioned we do not care about ecological production because we have not mentioned our products are made from organic/recycled materials. We would Kindly also differ with you on this as well since lack of this information does not mean we do not care about the environment. We are selling products which have lower effect to environment as compared to production of non-vegan materials like Leather etc. Production and our products also have way less negative impact on environment as compared to production of materials like real leather etc. We may not have products that have no negative impact to environment or even its production not affecting environment negatively but what we do have are products that are way less harmful to environment, use less energy to produce compared to other non-vegan products.

On the issue about eco-certificates, we would like to point out that we are willing to share with you more information on this. Kindly send us an email on support@leafysouls.com and we will share any relevant information with regards to this. Also kindly do note that companies may have eco-certificates and still produce their items unethically hence availability of eco-certificates does not certain friendly working environment or production or materials in a less environmentally disruptive conditions. What we do is we partner with suppliers whom we have vetted and are sure that they have good working conditions and process they use to produce our products are good for our environment.

Last but not least we acknowledge the lack of specificity and we welcome this feedback. We are going to ensure this information is available. Great products, terrible policies

After many, many emails back and forth, I did get some satisfaction. I really like their bags, but they have a non-refund policy that is horrendous. I finally got some credit against another product, but it was hard work. It's a pity because the products are great and I so want to get away from plastic and leather. If they read this please be more flexible....

Be warned

Wish I had never ordered from this site. Bag I ordered took to long to arrive . I can not return it as they don,t do return,s. Not even sure you can refuse a return. Do not touch leafy soul,s. They appealed to me with there vegan status. But never again. Rubbish.

I received an email on the 7th of…

I received an email on the 7th of September 2019 that my order has been shipped - to date nothing arrived!!! After several attempts to find out where the parcel with my bag is - they only send a link in response that does not open or give any info when the parcel will be delivered or where it is. This is the worst online purchase experience so far.

The package took forever to arrive

The package took forever to arrive, the service reps don’t answer the questions. I’m waiting for my return address to send eh super cheap bad quality products that I overpaid for back to these fake designers. This company exploits the vegan movement by claiming to be ethical, yet the bad quality service and products show otherwise

Leafy Souls is a fantastic company taking the lead and initiative to making a difference on a Global platform. Their wide selection of environmentally friendly Vegan based products are of very high quality and great prices. The company also has impeccable Guest Service! Yes “Guest Service”, ...never once during a purchase, or correspondence with Jenny or Customer Service, have I felt as just a Customer. The Newsletters, $ Contribution Program, Ultimate Vegan Battle Plan info email etc all create a relationship with their base visitors to the site. I encourage you....Take a moment visit their site. This Company is a “Leader” and will continue to “Rise” as the Awareness increases in the industry.

Complete con, not an ethical company as portrayed

Unfortunately, I can confirm the bad reviews here. I was also sucked in by the vegan marketing, but this is in fact just cheap tat from China. It may also be vegan, but it is not the quality promised on their website. I recently bought some trainers, which arrived marked the size above the one I had ordered, but despite this they were at least a size too small. Clearly the size labelling was inaccurate, confirming poor quality. I emailed and the customer service was rapid and friendly and requested a photo of the shoe size, which I sent. Then after a few emails, I was requested another photo of me (trying to) put on the shoes, which I sent. They confirmed they were sending another, larger, pair. A month later the trainers arrived and they were exactly the same as the original pair, marked the same larger size, but actually far too small. So I emailed again to explain they had sent me the same size with the same problem, attaching another picture clearly showing the shoes and the size displayed. Another customer support responded, asking me to send more pictures! I said I've already sent numerous pictures, it was getting ridiculous, now I would simply like a refund. No response. I sent a reminder a week later and still no response nearly two weeks after asking for the refund I've heard nothing. So two months after my initial order I have another pair of trainers I cannot wear and no way of sending them back and no communications from the customer support. I had high hopes and was very pleased to find a vegan company selling bags and shoes etc., but LeafySouls are sadly a complete con, time wasters and you will end up out of pocket with an item that is not what was advertised on their website. Don't waste your money!

I received my handbag quickly and…

I received my handbag quickly and without a hitch. However I had ordered a dress that did not fit my arms. After working with Leafysouls customer service, we came to an agreement and a satisfactory resolution. I have since placed another order and am concerned about shipping time as I go on vacation for a month 10/6. This is not a customer service issue though. Just want to let you know I had an issue, got a satisfactory, quick resolution, and am doi8ng more business with Leafysouls.

Good quality, good support service

I ordered a handbag but got the wrong one so I contacted the support service. Soon I got really friendly and fast help by a nice employee with whom I could settle the case to make it a win-win for both sides.
Will definitely order again due to the top quality and friendly support I got.
