If I could leave no stars I would. I stored caravan with them over the winter and came back damaged and missing items. would not help at all and ignored any further messages. Very rude and unprofessional. Carried out sub standard repair/service Avoid this company at all costs

We found Eugene on the sales side to be very polite and helpful .However John Jr after sales very rude. The following day after picking up our camper van my husband found a diesel leak,and the roof very difficult to close which appeared to be offset. The van went in to be sorted on three occasions over a 3-4 week period but neither problem was resolved.
However due to unforseen illness we sadly had to sell our longed for van. As our conscience would not let us sell onto someone else knowing about these faults, we took it to a local garage who sorted both the diesel heater leak and roof. We then managed to sell the van .

First time buying a caravan from John, he new exactly what we wanted and came up with the right deal.
Caravan was delivered to our seasonal pitch by a member of the team who went above and beyond.
Great experience from start to finish.

Have visited the Store for many years,they always have a good range of stock competitively priced. Traded in our old caravan for a 3 year old LMC for a good price. It's great to go and view a big selection without hard pressure selling. The service since then has been excellent, from siting the caravan, servicing and storage. Several times John Evans has been out to us - usually on the same day when we have had a problem with the heater and a broken window hinge. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Evan's Caravan and camping.

One of the best sellers to buy a caravan in that country i felt i was being looked after and also adjusted a question it was answered perfectly and the service is 100% in everyway will definitely buy again from there business was looked after so much

We have purchased caravans off John Evans over the past 10 years and never been disappointed with the service and the caravans we have purchased from him ( hence the reason we go back if we ever want to upgrade) We are a family that love seasonal pitches and the hobby’s and LMCs are perfect for this . John goes above and beyond to deliver the van to our site and do any alterations like extra plug sockets needed to the van, there’s always a massive range to choose from and he’s always done us a good deal especially compared to other caravan dealerships in the area . We personally wouldn’t even look anywhere else 🙌🙌

We can't recommend Evans Caravans highly enough. From our first visit through to collection, the service was excellent.
This family run business are professional, patient and genuinely helpful, answering all of our questions.
We have been with Evans for 8 seasons and we are now on our second caravan with them.
Evans also offer secure winter indoor storage, they collect the caravan from site at the end of the season and then deliver it back to site at the start of the season which is invaluable.

I’ve stored my motorhome with this company for a long time and they go above and beyond to ensure the vehicle is safe in storage whilst not in use. When I’m going away all I need to do is message them and they will have the vehicle ready and waiting for my arrival. Impeccable service and friendly too.

We found them excellent to deal with we store our van with them for winter they collect it and deliver it back to site washed read to use. We purchased our tabbert caravan from eugene .we asked for a couple of items to be rectified before collection of it everything sorted wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Evans caravans for our next caravan many thanks👍

We bought our first caravan off Evans Caravan and Camping and John went above and beyond to help us find the perfect van and the price we were happy with. The aftersales service are second to none and they are always a phone call away should we need anything or have a question. The stock of vans they have is top quality and all of the vans are in excellent condition. The winter storage offers are excellent value for peace of mind. They have been very knowledgeable and helpful with any issues we’ve faced as first time carabiners and are a pleasure to do business with. Overall an excellent family business providing top quality products at fair prices . We have recommended Evans Caravans and Camping to our family and friends as we have had such a good experience with them, so much so we are buying a second van from them too !

Very professional business Very helpful a pleasure purchasing my new Caravan.

Loved caravanning so 4 months later decided to upgrade with a different dealer. We had spent 10k on our first van, a 2 berth Bessicar with Evan’s. Found out when we upgraded elsewhere our van had damp and also that Evans had never registered it with CRIS and it was still registered with the company (Copelands) that they bought it from! This means our insurance would been void if we had a problem. No interest in the customer either! No handover. Really not great! Drive further afield is my advice! Thankfully we went on to a cracker from someone else at 30k

Diesel Heater: Over time had serious issues with this organisation (see my review January 2025) Decided to upgrade heater. Discovered large jagged unsealed hole under van, letting in moisture allowing fumes into the van. Loose wires hanging down, taped together, which kept causing the heater to stop working. Cheap Chinese heater.

Bought a lmc 695 vip exquisit from John at Evans caravan and camping Pwllheli back in August 2025. John gave us a very fair price for our swift in part exchange. He promised it would be ready for collection in 2 weeks and it was. The technician explained everything to us. The service they provide is 2nd to none. He even threw in a few extras. I would highly recommend this company.

We were on a tight budget but Eugene came through with the perfect first time motorhome for us. I must say it’s been a great van and suits our needs. I can highly recommend this company and we will be back when its time for a change.

Be very careful when dealing with Evans Caravans!
I sold back to John (Jnr) a caravan that he had sold me just 2 years previously. Unfortunately, it was originally supplied without most of the required paperwork (CRiS certificate, service history, etc.) and it came with so many defects/faults, that it simply wasn't possible for me to recover anything like the money I paid. I lost £'000's!
I would therefore urge anyone considering buying from Evans Caravans to ensure they get all the necessary paperwork, and equally important, have the caravan/motor home properly checked-out before parting with their money, something regrettably, that I didn't do.
Although they offer a 3 month warranty, their after-sales and customer service appears so poor that you should consider all of their caravan/motor homes to be 'bought as seen'.
In addition to my own experience, a friend bought a LMC caravan from John Evans that had, among other things, a gaping hole in a window. It was over 12 months later, and following multiple reminders, that it was eventually replaced.
(The fact that I have rated my experience as 2 stars rather than 1, is due to Eugene. He is the shining star of the family and a pleasure to deal with.)

I was in the market for a motorhome, but hadn't found anything locally that took my fancy. I happened to be passing through Penrhyn when I came across Evans caravans, and there were a few motorhomes outside and within my budget. Because I was with friends I didn't stop that day, but returned alone a few days later. Although they had som nice motorhomes there, none of them ticked all my boxes. I had a chat with Eugene, and told him what I was looking for in terms of spec, and my budget. He said he'd keep an eye out and took my details and promised to call me if something cropped up.
Sure enough, 2 weeks later I got a message from Eugene about a van they had just got in, which he thought would fit my needs. He sent me loads of photos, and I got on my motorcycle next day and took the 90 mile trip to go see for myself. The van was perfect, it ticked nearly all the boxes, low milage, very clean and tidy, with the perfect layout for me, and it was inside my budget. He even threw in a few accessories too!
I paid a deposit and he arranged a service, a bit of minor paint damage to be repaired and a hab check.
I collected the van a couple of weeks later.
U did have one very small issue after taking delivery, so I took it back under warranty and they ran me into cricieth to get some lunch while they sorted the problem, then came and picked me up and took me back to my van. In addition to rectifying the small wiring issue, they fitted a brand new leisure battery at no charge.
I can't recommend eugine and Evans caravans enough. You only find out how good a company is when you encounter a problem and how they react to that problem. There was no quibble, no hassle, just took it back and they sorted it out. 5 star service!
