I purchased Homer around 2 years ago when my grandson was 3. I was taking care of him Mon thru Fri up till the pandemic. During that time we did Homer every day. My grandson who just turned 5 in January is reading 2nd grade level if not 3rd grand level. Homer is a fun way to learn...no long tedious sections. A lot of different things to do. Art, Story telling, music etc. My grandson loved to hear himself read (and so did his parents). I recommend Homer to anyone who has a child or grandchild who likes to learn and have fun at the same time.

I liked having a track for my kid to follow before the update. We signed up around May - June 2020. Later in 2020 she can choose the reading track or just automatically click on the videos and such. Naturally kids just watched the videos.

My kids get bored after a few days after i purchased and never want to play again

Literature was too good. Maths needs more efficiency

Love it, my 4 year old daughter Emmalin has learned a lot.

It is a wonderful reading program for my son. He has done the best reading ever with this program and we have gone through many programs trying to teach him to read. He has dyslexia plus autism. He is in 2nd grade but so far has been more of a Kindergarten level reader but he has is gaining strides daily with Homer. I do wish it went higher in level for older kids struggling. I wish it had higher math also.

The only thing that is an issue is that you need to have wifi or data (4G/LTE) to use Homer. It can’t be used off internet service.

Unfortunately, this app isn’t a good fit for my son. It doesn’t keep his attention long. I wish you all had better learning games for a active 5 year old.

Homer has given my toddler good independent play time and he enjoys it! Also, the kits we received in the deluxe package are excellent to explore Alphabet, numbers, and feelings in a really interesting manner.

My son Loves this app!!! He is 2 years old and its so easy for him to navigate on his own and great for both of us when I really want him to be focused. He has learned so much since using the app. (I bought it jan 23 of this year) WE LOVE THIS APP! IT'S A MUST!

i have a 5 year old and 4 year old who use the Homer Program. They have excelled in every area of learning like never before since beginning this program. Homer is the best learning program for all kids

My son really enjoyed using Homer he has fun and has learned a lot.

My daughter has a good learning experience on the app. She enjoys alphabets more. The stories though don’t make much Sense.

The original program is very good. Unfortunately, the change to the updated version was not good. The look and interface were too different for a smooth transition. We ended up going back to the original. One other complaint: It would be very helpful to have a parent portal with curricular information, maybe even tips and tricks for effectively using the program.

I highly recommend "Homer". I'm homeschooling my 5 year old grandson this year in Kindergarten. I'm not a teacher and teaching him is quite overwhelming, thank goodness I found Homer! We have had no guidance/curriculm from the school district. What is a home schooler to do? We started Homer with Reading Pathway. I and his parents are amazed at how he is reading now and we have only Homer to thank for it. I am constantly telling his parents who are surprised at his reading level that it is all thanks to Homer! We have finished the Reading Pathway and are more focused on the other areas of Homer, but had also skipped around during the Reading Pathway and experienced others areas. My grandson especially loves the other pathways, Art, Games etc. Thank you Homer, you have made this task of teaching him a blessing. I don't know how I would have accomplished so much otherwise. I feel he will more than ready to tackle First Grade when he goes to school in September. Really, I can't thank you enough. Sincerely, Diane

My kid loves homer. I’m giving it 4 stars just because I really wish it had a Spanish version

We started with Homer when my son's kindergarten closed for COVID. He has enjoyed the program. We continued with it through half of first grade, then ran out of material (his "pathway"). I'd love it if there were a continuing pathway for 1st graders. Even just some more chapter books like the last section of the pathway.

HOMER helps my daughter improving her reading and spelling skills. Excellent! Highly recommended!
