We booked a car. They would not accept our credit card because, apparently, we have to live in the same county as the issuing bank. Neither would they accept our debit card or cash. They just left us standing. All the other car hire companies at the airport were happy to accept our credit card. Anyway, we applied for a refund of our deposit and guess what? Two months later still no reply.

Exellent service, cheapest price comparing with the other car rentals for the whole stay with full insurance(NAP airport). Next time we will book again this company. I was skeptical reading all the comments here but we did not have any problems with Leasys. 3 weeks later deposit was unblocked. I paid only this which was in the contarct. For all the negative comments here I recommends you next time to book car via the offical website not via retailers.

DO NOT USE LEASYS. They charged me on the credit card - I could not contact them so went back to Torino desk and they admitted that they had made a mistake but said they cannot correct it. Spoke to the office in Rome and they also agreed a mistake but again said they could not correct it. They charged me 150 Eu for petrol for a FIAT Panda. 1. I left the car full and have proof 2. 150 Eu of petrol in a Panda would mean filling the boot. I repeat DO NOT USE LEASYS. Dishonest, incompetent, thieves.

Rented a car with wrong statement about fuel content, with worn tires, never respond to phone after the police stopped me and would not provide a replacement car.
Bologna Airport office is the worst office I ever used in 30 years of travelling around the world.

SCAMMERS DO NOT USE!

Paid online in full for 10 days car hire and when ready to pick up they refused to process the same credit card for “security deposit” even though I have paid rental AND FULL INSURANCE in advance.

Would not release a car, would not refund any money.

Charged an extra £175 after the fact with a completely unresponsive customer service team who won’t tell me what the charge was about. Thought they were good at first but AVOID!!!

No one is interested in talking to me. I booked through Auto Europe but they are utterly useless. £319 stolen via my credit card and they refuse to acknowledge this.

DON’T go near Auto Europe- they play you off to a scam local rental firm and that’s your money/rights gone - shameful .
I am 6 weeks into trying to get my money back . The excuse for charging this fee was I that had dropped the
Car off week late despite proof of ticket and boarding pass . Could not make it up ! Liars and thieves .

Seems good value until you get in the 2.5 hour queue!
I knew when I dropped off the car and the guy said he couldn’t verify the paperwork as it was on My phone - who has access to a printer on holiday ..,.that I was not done with this shambles of a company .
Two weeks later 316.00 debited from my card . I am going to war with you guys !

Returned the car with almost full tank (took picture at return) and they charged me for half empty.

Worst rental experience ever.
Got to the rental desk on time at Milan airport - where I had pre booked a Fiat 500. I was then given the wrong car , to which their response was "we don't have any fiat 500s" . I understand on my booking it said "Fiat 500 or equivalent car " however the car I was given was an SUV , about 3 times the size of a fiat 500. I don't see how this was an equivalent car. I told them this and they said I had no choice as that's all they had. Fine.
After bringing the car back on time, full of fuel and zero damage I have still yet to receive my 600 euro deposit back over a month later. They don't answer the phone or to email so I have no way of contacting them.
Worst rental company ever - please read other reviews that echo my experience and just go with another company ( there are loads to choose from )

I was charged for refilling when the fuel cap was broken and the technician had to force it open with a screwdriver. I have called and emailed numerous times but no response. I had been assured that I would not be charged. This is Richiesta nr. 590007 Contratto 66743 / BA del 29/09/2022
It looks like a common story looking at all the recent complaints.

We rented a car with Leasys in Olbia and returned the car in perfect condition with full tank on 25 August 2022. We still have not received our EUR 800 deposit back but the company has charged us the full rental cost on top of this. This company continues to dodge calls (the number listed on their google does not work) and ignore emails - they are simply thieves. We luckily recorded a video of the person we returned the car to confirming everything was okay and that we would receive our money back within 2 weeks. Unfortunately it seems our only next steps are to take legal action in the UK county courts. USERS BEWARE. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LOW PRICES. THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY WHO WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! Have never rented a car so dirty - both outside and inside. Rented “full - full” when started driving the petroleum level was low. Nobody mentioned anything when picking up the car.

The car we rented was filthy.
The waist from the previous rental was left inside.
We didn’t appreciate that at all.
Also waited in line for over two hours to be checked in and that completely disrupted our travel plans.

Initially, I was happy. Everything went pretty smoothly. Then the car broke down, it was hard to find the telephone number, links from their official website were broken, etc. Once I did get them on the phone, I was pleasantly surprised with the service and got the car towed and exchanged. I had to pay for the taxi, they said that would be refunded. The taxi was €70, I paid it. When I got to the office, no one wanted to hear about the refund for the taxi and that I should contact head office. Good luck contacting head office. When I sent them an email asking for a telephone number it took them 8 days to reply. When I send them an email twice about the refund, no one replied, and it's 14 days later.

We rented a car in August at Malpensa airport with Leasys. This based on previous very good experiences with Leasys. The car was a rather a very high mileage Fiat 500L where Leasys did not bother to fill in the water for cleaning the windows, could not be bothered to check the oil where we had constant warning about the low level of oil and did not refill the Adblue. Ontop of this the breaks were making noises and were reacting poorly at times. We bought oil to fill up some of the oil and spent money on Adblue. At the end of the rental we submitted these expenses. All smiling the woman said she will note the complaint and gave us a complaint number. But then when it came to issueing the refund suddenly the computer would not longer work despite the fact that her colleague next to her was checking in new clients. Given our past positive experience we trusted Leasys to issue the refund (big mistake never walk away without the money) but of course they did not. Could not be bothered to answer emails - nothings. This for £35.00 they are prepared to ruin their name. Amex was also useless in helping us claiming back the expense. Goes without saying that this company is not trustworthy and should go at the bottom of the rental care companies pile.

We chose Leasys through discovercars. Upon arrival at the Bari airport, a very rude employee from leasys lied to us, mentioning that they didn't had the car (which we chose and that was contract) available, but they would provide us a similar option. We said ok, fine. They were super quick to take a 600€ deposit and said that we would pay for the car upon return (2nd lie). To our surprise, the supposed manager gave us a HUGE SUV, brand new!! Once we refused to take this car (more a truck than a car), the "manager" began to speak in italian and got very agitated and rude. In the meanwhile, there were people taking the car that they said it wasn't available. He tried to give us a car with no fuel, and making us pay for it. We refused. After a huge struggle, they came back with the car with a full tank, but with no functioning radio. He also provided us with a fake SOS number: if you have any SOS with this company, you might as well pray for a miracle, because they won't help you. Upon return, the "manager" said that everything was ok with the car, but refused to give us the paper saying it was ok. They also refused to get our deposit back, saying that they would give us the difference. The other employee was super rude, calling us names, insulting us in italian, just because we were demanding a proof that the car was ok. The contract info was full of forged signatures and wrong details. We even called the airport police which didn't help us at all. LEASYS is just another scam and they'll rob your money if they can. Please don't ignore this advice. They are cheaper for a reason. I which i took this reviews seriously before renting with them. I almost got my vacations totally ruined because of this company.

I have this company for a 2 years leasing. Well shall I start for the car… was not what they sold me… so simple to be paying that amount actually… nothing of nothing imagine the car play is no working.
Secondly I got a small accident a guy hit my car while I was driving he was getting out of parking. I talk to Italy as head quarters are there impossible to find anything or anyone that helps you in Spain, I did what they said send the documents for the car and the doy manera signed with the other driver as was his fault,
So well it took them 3 months to reply as more mails I sent I think at the end they just think they had to do it. They sent me to a 20 km from my city to the repairing car place and they told me I had NO right to have a complementary car..: they guy that sold me that car has not told me that? I had to pay 10 euros more a month to have a 5 day extra car…
Well so finally I was able to leave the car to be fixed what happen next?? LEasys was 19 days counted without giving permission to the fixing place either me to use it…
So I did complain because I did not want to pay for that 19 days as were them not me I did the right procedures to make docs, give car….,.., what happen next is that they say my car had to be thouse days to be repare because of the damage. WHAT? It was just some small scratch on the back door… well over all DO NOT HAVE THIS COMPANY NEAR YOU. NOT WORTH MY MONEY I SPEND EVERY MONTH, NOT WORTH THE CAR THEY GAVE ME..: I can’t wait to give yo them the car and run away… PORFAVOR NO HAGAN CASO A ESTA COMPAÑÍA DE VERDAD LES DIGI… FATAL

Would leave less than one star if I could. They took a 600 deposit that should of been return upon car return. It’s now been 49 days and still nothing. Impossible to get hold of with regards to this matter. Avoid this company. I’m sure they will reply to this review as normal with them asking for details in which I give them get no response. Don’t be fooled.
