Do not use this company! We rented from them while on a trip to Italy. The customer service was horrific. We waited in live forever, the guy at the desk was incredibly rude and refused to help a woman ahead of us and then took FOREVER to get through our paperwork. The car we received was dirty. Now, five months later we have 5 random charges from Leasys showing up on our credit card statement. Never again!

Do not.. Repeat, do not under any circumstances use this company.. We returned our hire car, without a scratch and with a full tank of fuel in Oct 22 to Florence airport.. 4 months later I have had £40 taken out of my account for absolutely no reason and without warning. I've cancelled my card and started a fraud investigation by my bank.

We rented a car from them in November 2022. They tried to claim that scratches on the side of the car that were existing, were made my me. We disputed this claim before signing any paper work to return the car. Now in January 2023, they have charged my card roughly $340 with no explanation. Are they just charging everyone that may have rented that car??? I have received no communication regarding these charges and am disputing them with my financial institution and may be escalating that to fraud.

As many others, after reading the reviews, I was stolen by this company. They charged my credit card months after I rented a car in Rome. Called them and all they said was that Leasys doesn't rent cars.

I booked a rental car from this agency through AAdvantage (American airlines frequent flyer program). I was supposed to pick up the car in Milan, Malpensa Airport on 12/23/22 but because of a flight delay, I lost the connection to Milan Malpensa and I was put on a flight to Milan, Linate airport instead. As soon as I was aware of this delay and change of airport, I tried to inform Leasys within business hours that I could have not picked up the car until the following day because I would have landaded in a different airport and near the end of their business hours. I tried calling their number +39 02 5858 0271 30+ times with no success. I then called AAdvantage customer service to seek help but they were unable to communicate with Leasys either. I managed to get to the Leasys agency at Malpensa airport the following day but they informed me that my reservation was marked as "no show" and could not get a car. I informed them that I tried to reach out to them by phone but they said they do not take calls... and I should have contacted AAdvantage customer service, which I did, but they were also unable to reach out to them. Why wven bother to list a number to call if they do not respond? Leasys, what are we supposed to do as customers in case of a delay if you do not provide us with the opportunity to communicate with you? I was charged the full amount of my the rental car by Leasys ($700+) although the service was not rendered and now they do not intend to provide a full refund. AAdvantage informed me that despite their best effort to get me a full refund from Leasys, Leasys decided to enforce their policy and denies the refund. What policy?! Plus, when I landed in Milan, Linate I made an attempt to talk to the representative at the local Leasys car rental agency to see if he was going to be able to inform their agency at the other airport about my delay. Despite their office was empty, he denied to help in such a way. Not only that, but in the moment I walked in the agency he immediately said "we are out of cars.." without even greeting me, and went back looking at his phone. When I explained the situation to him and told him I wasn't able to contact their branch at Malpensa airport he said "that's because they are busy, we cannot help". I was speechless by his unparallelled rudeness. My recommendation to anyone considering this agency is to use a well assessed car rental company with an existing customer service rather than an improvised company like Leasys with a disgraceful/not existing customer service. You might save money with Leasys, but it's not worthed in case you come across an issue requiring an interaction with them. I should have read their reviews on trustpilot before chosing them, my mistake. Consider not to do the same mistake. Marco

Wow, 40EUR was taken out of my card without my knowledge on 24 October 2022, then 20EUR on 21 December 2022, and another 20EUR on January 11th 2023.
All this happened after I have rented a car from leasys back in August during my vacation in Italy. I returned the car back without any issues, full gas tank, signed the paperwork to have my 600EUR deposit returned back, the deposit was returned, all good.
Now after 3+ months I'm being charged separate transactions god knows for what, without my approval.
Refund my money asap!

This company was absolutely shocking from start to finish. Having waited in line for almost two hours to get the hire desk we then had no help finding the car amongst more than 100 in the rental car park at Catania airport. There was no pre-hire inspection of our car, advice on using the car or route planning - all standard at other professional car hire companies! Our car broke down after the second day due to engine/gearbox failure and it took several phone calls to get the company to send a tow truck. The company then left us by the side of a busy road and provided us with no help whatsoever to get us back to our holiday rental or later to get to Catania airport to collect a replacement car - which was a repetition of the dismal experience of collecting the first car. There was no inspection of the car when we returned it to Catania airport with their only concern being that it had a full tank of fuel. Two months later they charged my credit card for the mechanical repairs and breakdown costing over £1,000 claiming the breakdown was our fault, providing no supporting documentation or evidence. Almost two months after charging my credit card and repeated phone calls and more than 20 emails to customer (lack of) service I have yet to receive any how details of how they decided we were to blame for the failure or an invoice and breakdown of the costs. Bunch of crooks!

AVOID!! This company is absolutely shocking from start to finish. Their collection company did not bother to turn up to collect my car after taking a whole day off work. They then invoice me for another month as I still have the car even though the insurance ran out. They have put the phone down multiple times on me, customer service are so rude and un educated on the company they work for.
Cost me a days money, I ended up having to pay for the following month even though I couldn't use the car and they collected 2 weeks after.
Please save yourself the trouble and use another company that actually care about their customers.

After a good rent- experience in June, we found out this September and October there were 3 money withdraws from our account on different dates. We received an email that the costs where because of a parking fine, but we paid that directly at the postoffice that day. I've tried multiple times to get in touch, but no reply. Very difficult to contact and get poor information or customer service.

Picked a car up in Florence, terrible customer service where there was just one person on desk and took nearly 2 hours to get processed. Dropped car off Mid September which was earlier than booked for. Asked for a refund but the answer was NO, thats fine we understand but no conversation had, just NO. We were told a refund would be given some 14 days after so expecting end of September, here we are Dec 24 and a chain of emails of nearly 70 communications and not resolved. My EURO 600 has not been given back and now reading reviews I can see I am not alone. I must say to all, do not use Leasys in Italy, do not book through discovercars as both of these have terrible respect and customer service.

Rented a car in Rome Fiumicino via Ryanair, and booked full insurance. Waited over 2 hours to pick up the car.
On return of the car everything was fine, signed off and copy of handover retained. Then they charge our credit card over 70 EUR without any kind of information or notice, and now after 2 months I still cannot reach anyone in the customer service to sort this out or get an explanation. Amazingly bad service.
Leasys: I tried that link already, and none of the mails worked. It is crazy that you simply take our money without info, and then force us to figure out how to contact you to get them back.

Do NOT rent from this company, we had pre reserved an electric car and it took 2 hours just to get the car and it was not even charged when we got it. SO we wasted 2 hours of our vacation charging it at the rental station. The worst was when we got home. We rented the car from Oct. 7-15, paid the full amount on the invoice and received confirmation we had returned the car. When we returned I had two e-mails from the company asking me to confirm the return date, I replied right away with the date and time. Four weeks after we returned I get a bill for 1000 euros for a car rental from Oct. 7-Nov 4. We weren't even in Europe anymore. I contacted the company which informed me a new invoice would be coming and the previous one was incorrect. Yet a few days later my credit card was charged for 1000 euros. It is now with mastercard to dispute. By far the worst travel experience I have ever had.

Terrible company. Nearly ten weeks after handing the car back which passed all of the checks, they have charged me for a sum £432.24.
I have not received an invoice or an explanation as to why I have been charged.
I have tried to contact the company multiple times via phone and email and have had no success in getting a response from the business.
This company is a scam, please do not use.

Absolutely atrocious. Booked (and paid in full) for our car three weeks prior to arrival. We arrived to the airport and they would not accept our bank card with the Visa Logo on it because the card said "Debit" on it however it's linked to a credit account. So I offered my Captial One Credit Card yet they wanted 800 Euro deposit for the four day rental. We TRIED to get the car but couldn't swing the 800 which they even said could take up to 5-7 days for the hold to return AFTER we returned the rental. As we were traveling from the US, we didn't have the ability to lay out that kind of money and not have access to those funds for two weeks. They were willing to cancel the reservation, and confirmed so on the spot. We expected to have a refund and after a month contacted Trip Advisor who said to contact rental cars.com who said it's not their problem contact Leasys. Leasys says it's not their issue they didn't charge us it was rentalcars.com. filed an official dispute with the bank, nothing. Filed a dispute with Rental cars.com. today I get an email from Leasys stating that it's not their fault we "chose to not pick up the car!" Like, what in the world? I TRIED, and they declined our form of payment. They are running a scam. EU department of Consumer Protection is being notified. They take American travelers for stupid.

All I can say is please do not use this company - we were given a car in Italy which after 10 mins on a busy motorway the clutch broke. Trying to restart the car the ignition then fell out. Stuck on a busy three lane motorway with my wife and young child we tried calling the emergency number and they kept just hanging up on us, we finally got through and left a message and they called us back the next day. Then to make it worse after getting back to the airport we were given another car which was covered in dents and on return home 2-months later we received a mysterious €90 charge - we have tried contacting the company and no answer - all i can say is please do not use this company
