Leau Dress Fan 4 Life!!

I love Leau dresses! I have purchased several over the years and they have all been highly complimented.
I love that Leau makes classic, beautiful pieces that will last for years and can be worn by women of varied ages. The dresses I have bought have been very high quality. Very much a reminder of some classic Alaia pieces. I think an important thing to note is to know your own measurements well so you can match for an optimal fit. I will continue to be a Leau customer because I know that their clothes will optimize the features I would like to focus on. Lastly, I've never had an issue with shipping. All of my orders arrive timely, nicely packaged and immaculate.

Great Experience!

I ordered the LEAU Ramona dress and I’m obsessed! It fits like a glove; size charts are accurate. The dress arrived at a very reasonable time despite being on backorder. I haven’t encountered any issues while ordering. I recommend this brand to my friends and would definitely buy again!

Fantastic service!

Fantastic service!
The package was delivered within five days and the ordering process was very smooth. What I ordered met my expectations and looked exactly like the pictures. There were a few loose threads sticking out from the dress, but when I contacted customer service, I received a very kind response and compensation right away.

I would highly recommend them to everyone! Quick responses via email, an easy-to-navigate website, and the sizing was accurate.

SCAM

This company’s return and refund practices are misleading and feel intentionally deceptive.

I returned my item within the required 14-day return period and have clear proof that it was sent back on time. Despite this, LEAU Clothing falsely claimed that my return was late. When I provided evidence proving them wrong, they then told me I would receive a refund.

Instead of refunding me to my original payment method, they issued a gift card without my authorization and then claimed there was “nothing they could do” to correct it. This is unacceptable. Under US consumer protection laws, a refund means returning money to the original form of payment — not forcing store credit on a customer.

This behavior feels like a deliberate tactic to avoid issuing real refunds and keep customers’ money. Being lied to about return timelines and then pushed into store credit after complying fully with their policy is not how an ethical or trustworthy business operates.

I feel completely scammed and would strongly caution anyone in the US considering ordering from LEAU Clothing. If you think there’s any chance you’ll need to return your order, think twice before buying from this company.

Poor service for customers

Poor service for customers. Ordered a dress and paid excessive costs for shipping. Nearly 2 weeks later and the dress hasn’t even been shipped yet. Very disappointed with the lack of communication also. Refund has been requested for the premium shipping, if a dress isn’t in stock it also is worth telling the customer it’s a pre order item.

SCAM

SCAM! Do not order from here!
So many girls have relayed to me incurring the same incident. I ordered 2 weeks ago and after them absolutely adamant that the item was shipped it most definetly was not as I called the courier company directly and they confirmed. My item is still in the same tracking status and has not been handed over to the courier after paying an expensive express fee. Customer service is terrible and no help.

Shady Business Practices - Unclear Refund Policy

I used a welcome discount for my first order. Was a measly $12 off. The item was over $100. I returned it. Now they’re saying they can only offer me store credit because if you use a discount, you’re no longer eligible for a refund. This was not clear AT ALL in the checkout process. It should be flagged. Also, I’m no longer eligible for a refund because of a $12 discount? I would understand if it was 40%+ off. Come on now. Shady business practices. Completely disappointed. Still waiting on them to make it right and refund me.

Do not order from this website!! Class action likely

Do not order from this website!!! It is 100% a scam website. I ordered a wedding elopement dress and paid express shipping and shipping insurance and they dresses did not arrive until after they stated they would. I requested a refund because the WHITE, LONG GOWN can’t be worn again. They stated I could not return because the 10% discount code that they essentially force you to use means the dresses cannot be returned for anything except store credit. FL, CA, almost every UCC state’s case law would find that their return policy advertisement was not accepted by their online buyers. i.e. not enough to form a contract. This would make a great class action and I will refer the idea to my plaintiff’s law firm friends. The best part of all of this is that I accepted store credit and returned the dresses over 4 weeks ago and while I received the notification that they were to be delivered December 7, the last I checked the dresses were in Puerto Rico. Also, the quality of the dresses were quite frankly very poor and I will be posting as many reviews as I can and reporting the the Federal Trade Commission as well as the aligning state agency.

I had the same experience as other customers. I bought a dress to try after seeing it on Instagram multiple times and during checkout it was not clear to me at all that using a discount code meant I wouldn’t be eligible for a refund to the original payment and could only receive store credit.

If a store has a non standard return policy like this, it should be displayed in HUGE, obvious print anywhere the discount code is shown not hidden, especially since they promote the welcome discount. Instead, the only way to find this information is by clicking into the return policy and scrolling down to a small section about sale items, which makes it clear they know exactly what they’re doing. It’s also frustrating to see that other customers are getting refunds back to their original payment methods while others aren’t. I have seen that other customers are getting refunds after posting reviews and going back and forth with the company. I but it was still an unnecessary hassle that could have been avoided with clearer, more transparent policies upfront. It’s especially disappointing since I kept one of the dresses — this really isn’t the way to keep customers coming back.
