Perfect grad dress!

Love this dress and LEAU! I had never ordered with them before, but was very happy with the experience. The sizes do run small, so I would size up. However, even with needing to make an exchange, the customer service and quality of the dress is great. I will definitely order again!

BUYER BEWARE! DECEPTIVE COMPANY PRACTICES

BUYER BEWARE! Extremely deceptive company. I purchased an item that turned out to be final sale, but nowhere during checkout or on the product page was this stated. Only after searching through the return policy did I find that information. This lack of transparency is misleading and unfair to customers. Businesses are required to clearly disclose when something is a final sale, and this company failed to do so. Shoppers deserve honesty.

Credit ONLY Return Policy Isn't Ideal

I bought a dress to try for an event after seeing it on Instagram. In the checkout process wasn't clear to me that if you use a discount code you can’t get a refund and you can only get store credit. I believe if stores have a non-standard policy like this it should be flashed in HUGE print everywhere the code is listed. This wasn’t the case. If you click into the return policy and scroll down, you can see the credit only part of the return policy for items on sale, however. After posting this review and discussing this with the company for over a week they offered to refund the purchase. I am happier with the result now, but it was still a hassle.

Their customer service is incredible

Their customer service is incredible. I had a small issue with an order, and they had quickly come up with many solutions for me. They are incredibly responsive. I ordered a corset, and it’s the most beautiful piece of clothing I own. It fits perfectly, and I’ve gotten so many compliments each time I wear it.

I placed an order for the Hera Halter Mini Dress and a black mesh corset and received it a week or 2 after placing the order. It fit perfectly and I wear it like every weekend. Cant wait to keep buying more stuff!

VERY poor customer service.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience with Leau was frustrating enough that I felt it was necessary.

I ordered the Jersey Maxi Skirt for a special event and instead received a shirt. Mistakes happen—I’ve worked in retail and understand that. But what truly matters is how a company handles those mistakes, and unfortunately, Leau handled it very poorly.

I reached out immediately with photos and order details, hoping for a quick and simple resolution. What I received instead were generic, AI-generated responses that didn’t address my concerns. Every “solution” they offered placed the burden on me as a customer — asking me to take time out of my day to return a product I didn’t even order. Not to mention, the product I ordered was double the price of the one I received.

I explained that I work three jobs and don’t have the flexibility to make extra trips to the post office to return the item during the day. Still, no one seemed to care. Eventually, I had to take time off work to go to the post office, just to correct their error. And even then, the correct item didn’t arrive until after the event I bought it for.

When the skirt finally showed up, it was poor quality and didn’t fit. I requested a return and refund — no store credit, since I had no interest in shopping with them again, to which I received no response. I followed up multiple times and received no response at all, still to this day.

I spent my own time, energy, and money trying to fix an issue I had no hand in creating. I was ignored, dismissed, and inconvenienced. Sad because I am an LA local and I was willing to shop at this higher-price point to support a small business.

Shop elsewhere. ESPECIALLY at this price point.

Horrible company

Horrible terrible customer service. Scams you into buying things if you use the promo code they auto populate then you cannot get a refund!
Order was delayed by them- so had to rush order correct size. Wasn’t able to wait for an exchange. When I emailed them because you cannot call anyone and explained it was their fault I didn’t have proper time to do an exchange and wanted a refund they refused! Now forced into a store credit I didn’t want I ordered the correct size to arrive way too late and don’t even need- but weeks go by I never receive it. I go to my confirmation email that I paid and everything since the credit did not cover $2.66 which I paid. Says it’s getting ready to ship and it never did. It is sitting there with a $0.20 balance - still a mystery to me why! I try to pay it and I cannot because it’s too small of a balance. Now in email limbo again with this terrible company!!!

I would give 0 stars_Horrible Quality & Return Policy

I would give 0 stars. I saw this brand online and was sooo excited to try it out. However, I’m very disappointed in the fit and quality of the dress. It’s comparable to SHEIN. Don’t waste your time and money. I shipped the dress back ( label was not provided, I had to pay for shipping) and after very long delays to get my refund ( and consistently having to follow up with customer service) , I ended up being short in the refund. It has cost me over 120$ CAD to try this brand out. This is ROBBERY. AVOID AVOID AVOID, don’t fall in the social media trap I did.

Also they pick which reviews to post on their website, so the scores you see on their products are biased.

BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE.

I have worked in dress manufacturing for over a decade, so believe me when I say the dress i purchased is grossly overpriced for the abysmal quality. The seams are puckered, the fabric feels cheap and plastic-like, and the draping at the waist isn’t even properly attached to the bodice—basic construction flaws that should never make it past production. BEWARE: the product is awful, and the company behind it is even worse. They lure you in with a “10% off welcome discount,” but what they don’t tell you is that it makes your purchase nonrefundable—something conveniently not disclosed in the fine print. Slimy practices, terrible craftsmanship, and zero respect for the customer. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money elsewhere.

I am so beyond frustrated with my experience with this store. I am in the midst of planning my wedding, and have been looking for a dress for my engagement photos. I found one promising on this site. When you first get on their page, you’ll get notified that they will send you a discount code for your first order if you sign up for email notifications. As someone who is on a pretty strict budget amidst the stress of planning a wedding, every dollar counts. I signed up for their email list to take advantage of the discount code that THEY are offering their first time customers. I purchased a $265 dress, and applied a 10% discount code which saved me $26. Not much of a discount, but again, every dollar counts. When I received the dress, it unfortunately was way smaller than the size guide indicated. I am 5’4, 110lbs and per my normal measurements, I should’ve been an extra small. Unfortunately, the dress was way too small.

I needed the dress for my engagement photos next week, so didn’t think that I had time to process an exchange on the dress for a larger size. So, I immediately purchased the dress in a larger size and paid for rush shipping, thinking that the first dress I could return for a refund. After I had purchased the first dress, the company sent me ANOTHER 10% discount code off my next order as a “thank you” for shopping with them. I applied the 10% discount code to my second order. HUGE MISTAKE.

After purchasing the second dress with a discount code provided to me by the store, I went to try to request a refund and to process my return of the first dress. However, it was only giving me the option of store credit. I immediately emailed the company to ask why this was, and they informed me that any order that uses a discount code is barred from requesting a refund on their order. You are stuck with store credit.

I had emailed them mere minutes after placing my second order and after learning of their return policy, asked that my second order be processed as an exchange using the store credit for my first order and my card be refunded at least for that order. They said no.

When I expressed my frustration that a discount code provided to me by THEIR company, and which only saved me $26 is now barring me from requesting a refund on a nearly $300 dress, they replied with “because we’re a small business, we cannot make any exceptions to our return policy”.

I’m not sure what being a small business has anything to do with having a horrible policy. To essentially lure your customers into using discount codes that the STORE ITSELF PROVIDES, all while knowing that when said customer uses the discount code, they are going to be unable to request their money back in the event they want to return their items, is SO BEYOND WRONG. The company wants you to use a discount code because it guarantees that they will be making a profit off of you.

It also is a slap in the face that their excuse of being a “small business” warrants them to keep hundreds of dollars of their customers hard earned money. They don’t know their customer’s financial statuses. I’m pretty sure that even as a “small business” based in LA, selling clothing that are hundreds of dollars a pop puts them in a better financial position than the vast majority of their customer base. Not to mention that the quality of their clothing does not match the pricing. The prices are extremely inflated in comparison to the quality of the material for the items that they are selling. It really really really rubbed me the wrong way.

Now I am stuck with either two dresses, or $530 in STORE CREDIT for a store that I, quite frankly, do not ever want to give my business to again.

I anticipate that the company is going to respond to this review, stating that their return policy is provided in multiple spots on their website. Wrong. Under the items on their site, there is a drop down menu for “shipping and returns” where is states “We gladly accept unworn, unwashed items with the tags still attached within 14 days of delivery” with a link next to it to pull up a separate page with their full return policy. Nested in that page is the information that if you use a discount code, your item cannot be refunded. Based on how many negative reviews there are out there about the discount code issue, their return policy is clearly not communicated as efficiently as they say it is.

I am 31 years old, and never in my life have ever written a bad or negative review about any company. This is a first. Honestly, I feel so taken advantage of that I had to say something. If it warns other people out there to not shop this site, then the $530 that has gone down the drain is at least worth something.

Purchased a corset for my girlfriend after she mentioned how much she wanted one.. She absolutely loved it and commented on how much she appreciated the packaging and the design. Seems like a great company and definitely good to know for future presents needed. Lol

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Update: I do want to update this review as after posting it, customer service escalated my issues to the founder of the company. While we probably both wish it had not taken this post or length of time to get a response, I do realize they didn't have to do anything even after this post. She thoughtfully responded, wanted to make things right while still understanding my frustrations, & offered 3 options to move forward with a resolution. She also stated she would use this as an opportunity to improve the customer service experience for all customers. While the below experience is still valid, it is important to recognize the effort to improve, be heard, & feel valued as a consumer. Thank you Gia for your attention & for the time you took to resolve this.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! They keep tax for items you exchange and charge you tax on the replacement item which is unheard of. I was also told I would receive credit to the original form of payment due to the dress being damaged and then a day later was told that was wrong and they would not honor what their own team member 'promised'. Influencers are promoting their product but not even looking into the support they provide. Utter trash and will never purchase from them again. They comment to send them your order number after you complain but they do nothing with it to make things better. I did this the first time when they lied about refunding my money. And now they are doing it again when trying to not refund tax on an item i didn't keep. You also can't reply to the company on here and I'm not putting my order info on a public site

Fraudulent merchant

I placed an order for a corset top on July 24, on their website it says that orders ship within 2-5 business days. I messaged their customer service multiple times, they weren't able to assist, just told me to wait. The order arrived only on August 15, so 3 weeks later! it was a regular domestic order. when I received the item, I didn't like it, the quality is below average. When I messaged the customer service in order to get send it back and get a refund, they said the order is not eligible for a refund because a return period is only for 14 days but they were they the ones who shipped the order only 3 weeks later. Really disappointing and frustrating. Stay away from this company!

BAIT AND SWITCH

First, their prices DO NOT reflect the quality of their items. I purchased a dress to try on for my upcoming wedding, and received a dress that is see through, has poor stitching, and cheap plastic "boning" they call a corset. Secondly, as you can see from previous reviews, this company likes to scam their customers. (What a shame they take advantage of brides looking for their wedding dress - especially in this economy) If you decide to sign up for their newsletter for their welcome discount, YOU CANNOT RETURN YOUR ITEM FOR A REFUND. Now I'm stuck with a CHEAPLY made dress, out $260, and have no option but to leave a review for others to see. Their customer service is useless, and does not care that their policies screw you out of money. If they cared, they wouldn't have such horrible reviews, and their social media posts wouldn't be filled with comments of other customers who unfortunately also got scammed. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND MONEY! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SHOP.
