Its beyond words how much my soul is happy that i went to Legacy Pets to have my beautiful best friend Benson cremated. Paula, Claire, Norma and Milos mum, thank you deeply. Once I'd got his ashes I could stop crying. It really helped me and my kids more than I could imagine.
I'll never forget my daughter telling me she could see Paula stroking Benson as we'd drove away after saying goodbye.
Your all true angels.

I got in touch with legacy pets wen my old boy our ozzy started getting worse on his back legs and spoke with a lady called josie and was planning ahead as knew I would be broken wen the time came. Josie was very nice and helpful even though I was heartbroken she made sure I was OK and kept telling me to take my time. Wen I knew it was time I got back in touch and josh answered the call. I was a mess trying to sort a vet out as our ozzys vet couldn't attend so josh sorted all that out as well as making sure I was OK. Josh also stayed late and arrived early the next morning and stil making sure I was OK, so Thank You Josh. The vet arrived his name was Charlie he took his time and explained everything and was respectful of my wishes regarding our ozzy. So Thank You Charlie for being kind and respectful to our ozzy. Charlie left and within 5 minutes Mike arrived to take our ozzy to legacy pets Mike was very kind and respectful to our ozzy and myself he was gentle with our ozzy and layed him in the van with his Teddy and a blanket he looked asleep I also received a call off Mike about a hour or so later to tell me our ozzy was in the quiet room with his Teddy and blanketso Thank You Mike for looking after our ozzy. John brought our ozzy home Friday with his nose and paw print Thank You John for looking after our ozzy and making sure I was OK. Thank You Karen for looking after our ozzy wen he arrived. I am still heartbroken but Legacy Pets did give me comfort to know that he was being looked after and know we're he was with people that genuinely care for pets. I would just like the thank the team at legacy pets for their total professionalism & caring approach when laying our beloved Great Dane Henry to rest . I would just like to say a massive thank you to Legacy Pets for the superb service they gave to our beloved cat Gizmo, the vet Shereen Aktar was compassionate, emphatic and very clear all the way through the process of saying our last goodbye, the office lady on the phone was also a credit in the way she handled my call, thank you Legacy Pets 🙏🏻

We had to make the heart breaking decision to have Chilli (our 18 year old cat) put to sleep as she was suffering and from the first phone call Legacy were wonderful. Kind, compassionate and personal service - they treated Chilli like they knew her and with respect
The vet was respectful and thoughtful explaining the process and being gentle such that what is a horrendous experience didn’t feel so bad
The young man who then came to pick Chilli up within 5-10 mins after the vet left was again compassionate and treated Chilli with respect even placing her upfront with him in the van and strapping her in
Picking up her ashes was also a personalised appointment and again staff were compassionate

I lost my baby boy Kyle on 09,04,2023 and from start to finish legacy we're amazing .. the care and compassion was out of this world when I needed it the most.. a special massive thanks to Mike for your kindness when collecting and returning My boy. Everyone I spoke to at Legacy Pets was warm, caring and professional. I was given time to make decisions and they asked thoughtful questions about my lovely cat Willow. When I went to pick Willow up, I hadn't made an appointment but they still took the time to sit me down and explain everything. I recieved Willow's ashes in a lovely box along with her paw prints and all in a nicely presented bag with a candle. Excellent service and staff.

Our precious Margot was put to sleep on the 20.02.2023 unexpectedly. The vets had provided us with information with Legacy Pets, and slowed us time to grieve before approaching them.

My mother in law arranged for collection and the package we wanted, and they were absolutely amazing with updating her to let us know when they had Margot in their care. Legacy Pets actually collect your fur baby from the vets in a dignified matter. No one prepares you for the loss of a loved one, and the sympathy and compassion showed in those days meant absolutely everything to us. To not have her home for a few days was the hardest thing we’ve had to go through, but with regular updates, it made it that little easier. On collection, we were greeted by Norma at the Bury branch, who allowed us time to reflect and talk about Margot. You can tell the people that work here genuinely do care and want to understand how much of a loss your fur baby is to you.

We were given space and time to sit and talk to Norma about Margots life, and we never felt rushed or pressured. Norma showed us everything included. Everything was packaged absolutely beautifully.

Margot now sits on our bedside table, with her nose, paw prints and fur surrounding her. Waking up feels a little easier knowing she will always be close to us forever.

Thank you so much for making a difficult part of our lives a little easier.

Had a fabulous experience with legacy pets. After the sudden loss of our pet we had a lovely service from start to finish. Our dog was treated with the upmost respect and care whilst in their hands and it was reassuring as the owner to gain regular updates. We also got the ashes back within 48 hours, despite it being a weekend. Many thanks to all the team.

I would like to thank Legacy pets with all my heart for the great service they provide, Our hearts were broken when we had to have our beautiful girl Mitzee Moomin Owens put to sleep. The pain was unbearable I phoned Legacy pets the following day and they went to get our girl. From the very start they shown us so much love and support & it sort of made it a little easier knowing she was being taken care of every single aspect of every single person i spoke to was above & beyond any service of care they were there for me every step of the way they listened when I was upset and gave me so much support. They did everything so perfect for us & helped us on our way to trying to heal. Even when we went to pick her up the service provided was exceptional & I would like to thank Norma for being so kind & giving me & my daughter a big hug when we needed it most. We will be forever grateful to you all.

Cannot rate Legacy Pets highly enough. My daughter was so upset when her hamster died, and they treated her and Toasty with sensitivity, respect and dignity. The little touches made her so happy, especially the paw print picture with her name, will be a treasured memory of her. The scatter tube is lovely, and will be perfect to bury inside a plant pot for her to remember her by.

When our beloved Bassett Wilson developed serious health issues we contacted Legacy Pets and they organised a vet to come to our house and help ease his pain and suffering. Although it was heart-breaking to lose our buddy, the way it was all handled was absolutely perfect. It was done with such caring and respect that i know we did the right thing contacting them. I cannot recommend them highly enough to help you through this incredibly difficult time.
We now have his ashes and his paw and nose prints to forever remind us of him.

I have used legacy pets twice now due to loosing two animals in a short space of time. They go above and beyond every time and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Each time the staff have been brilliant, it’s such a difficult time and they made it bearable and made me feel at ease.

The caskets I received had beautiful engraving on them. I would 100% recommend anyone to use legacy pets.

What a fantastic service Legacy Pets offer. Everyone I have dealt with has been so kind and compassionate from start to finish. From the lovely man I spoke to on the phone, the vet who came to my home to help my Romeo over the rainbow bridge and the lovely man who came afterwards to take my boy away in a lovely bed with such care and dignity. My best friend was home where he belonged the very next day so I can scatter his ashes in his favourite places.

The care the team at Legacy show is far better than the experiences I've had in the past dealing with previous losses. Thanks so much to all of you.

My beautiful boy Bruno was put to sleep by legacy due to ill health. I was recommended to use them.

I have never had such a poor experience with a company meant to care about animals. The Vet they sent - Jack - was completely apathetic. It was undeniably clear that it was just a job to him, a tick box. But it wasn't to me! Bruno was my baby.
The process was rushed. His talk was robotic and you could tell it was just rehearsed. There was no personal service, no building of a relationship - he didn't even stroke him. He seemed bored to be honest. His attire wasn't clean. He looked tired.
It was unprofessional and I felt embarrassed.

This was the biggest decision of my life and the Vet they sent to put my dog to sleep looked bored and tired and did not care.

I WISH i had taken him to my own vets. They at least new Bruno. I thought having him put to sleep at home would be better but it wasn't.

I DO NOT recommend using legacy pets for a home goodbye. Avoid at all costs.

I will say the staff I spoke to on the phone were lovely and tried to understand and support me.

Losing our little boy was heartbreaking but everyone at Legacy Pets made it as smooth as possible. The service is extremely quick and professional. All of the staff we spoke to knew exactly the correct things to say. Fingers crossed we do not need to visit again anytime soon, but when the time comes, we will 100% be choosing Legacy Pets again.

We had to put my beloved Bassett hound Gertrude to sleep this morning.
Called Legacypets at 9.00am and by 12pm my beautiful hound was put to sleep peacefully in my own home. Both the vet Sheena and the gent who collected Gertie for cremation Shaun, were amazing! Both so empathetic and kind at such a distressing time, this made a massive difference.
The grieving process will be horrific, but this superb company has made this ever so slightly easier.
