Easy to set up and manage a pension

I have only just opened a pension account with legal and general and everything has been really easy so far, The process has been explained well and they have given great communication when I transfered over my old pension. I also like the App you can download to track your contributions and see how your pension is performing.

I had a great experience with Legal &…

I had a great experience with Legal & General. Everything was simple, straightforward, and easy to manage from start to finish. Whenever I needed help or had a question, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The communication was clear, and the whole process was hassle-free. I was able to achieve exactly what I needed, and I’m very happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend Legal & General and look forward to returning as a customer when I restart my workplace pension.

Very generic, impersonal, lack of response to enquiries, lack of response to transaction request

I have just received the L and G response and am very surprised as no one contacted me over the phone or by any other means to conduct a check.
It is now the 8th July and still no payment has been received!

Having reviewed your account, I can see that you submitted your withdrawal request on 30th June. Unfortunately, the payment could not be processed initially because additional identity checks were required. A member of our Pay Me Team contacted you on 2nd July to complete these checks over the phone, and your payment was authorised the same day.

During the online withdrawal process, information is provided regarding the steps involved and the anticipated payment timescales. Customers are also asked to confirm that they have read and understood this information before proceeding with their request. That said, I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and I will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the relevant team for review.
