Poor after service

Good fitflops arrived promptly. After 6 weeks toe post broke. Legend said not faulty shoes, usually they last years. Would not give any compensation. Extremely poor after service.
I complained 1 week after they broke, photos show other shoe in good order. Terrible service

Thank you for your feedback. The order in question was purchased in June, and the complaint was made in late August. After reviewing with the relevant suppliers, this issue was not considered a manufacturing defect.

Toe breaks can occur due to a variety of reasons, including wear and tear, how the shoes are worn, or storage conditions. As resellers, we rely on supplier guidance and cannot attribute every issue to manufacturing faults.

We always aim to assist our customers to the best of our ability and provide authentic, high-quality products, but in this case, the defect did not meet the criteria for a warranty claim

Service and quality

The USPS tracking system wasn’t showing that my shoes had shipped so I reached out to customer service and received a reply within an hour! The USPS tracking system must have been down because the Legends system showed that the shoes had been delivered earlier that day to my mailbox! Very happy with their customer service and the quality and prices that Legends provides. My new go to shoe shopping website!

A very happy customer

Super service with competitive pricing. Have used Legend Footwear in the past and will definitely do so again. Live in muddy Cumbria so in wellies most of the time but if I need something nicer then Legend is a go to!

Best online Finn Comfort store!

Legend Footwear is the perfect place for buying high quality European designers' shoes! In addition to offering an incredidle quantity to choose from, Legend Footware also has the best prices. Very poor return experience – misleading evidence, unfair refund, and troubling patterns

I’ve had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Legend Footwear’s return process — one that, after reading many other Trustpilot reviews, seems far from unique.

I returned a pair of trainers in unused, original condition, exactly as received. Despite this, I was refunded only £1.27 of the £127.29 I paid. Legend Footwear claimed that the item I returned was not the one they dispatched and applied a 100% restocking fee.

To justify this, they provided:

A stock image of the trainers — clearly pulled from their Amazon listing — as “proof” of what they originally sent.

A photo of another pair of trainers they claim I returned.

There is no verifiable link between these photos and the actual items I received or returned. The photos are vague and inconclusive. I was not told I would need to take photos of the item before returning it, and since I expected a straightforward process, I didn’t anticipate such a dispute. Now, I’m being asked to provide evidence it’s no longer possible to obtain retroactively.

What’s even more concerning is that this pattern appears repeatedly in their Trustpilot reviews. Many customers report receiving partial or denied refunds due to claims that items showed signs of wear and tear — yet, like in my case, no clear evidence is provided. In some reviews, customers point out that the photos Legend Footwear sends do not visibly show the alleged issues.

This raises serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of their returns process. There seems to be a pattern of vague accusations and minimal photographic proof, placing all the burden on the customer with no real way to challenge their decision.

I am escalating this issue through Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee in hopes of reaching a fair resolution.

Buyers beware: if there’s any chance you may need to return an item, you could face:

Accusations of sending back the wrong item

Claims of wear that aren't substantiated

Weak photo evidence

Minimal refunds and evasive customer service

I strongly advise taking extreme caution before ordering from Legend Footwear.

At Legend Footwear, we maintain a strict and transparent quality control (QC) process. Every item dispatched undergoes thorough inspection, is scanned and recorded under CCTV, and photographed before shipment to ensure traceability. When returns are received, they are again inspected by our dedicated QC team.

In your case, the item returned did not match the product we originally sent. This discrepancy was clearly documented through our internal systems and QC review. As such, a 100% restocking fee was applied, and no refund was issued—this is in accordance with Amazon’s and our own returns policy when the returned product does not match the original item.

We understand it may be frustrating not to receive a full refund. However, please note:

The photos provided were not stock images; they are part of our documented dispatch and return process.

Our decision was also reviewed by Amazon, who upheld our stance after investigating the evidence.

We have never asked customers to photograph items before returning them, but we do maintain full photographic and video evidence at our end for transparency and protection—for both us and the buyer.

While we acknowledge that different customers may share different experiences, it’s important to emphasize that we:

Offer a 30-day return window

Provide full refunds when items are returned in unused, brand new condition

Comply fully with Amazon’s return and refund guidelines

We serve thousands of customers every month with successful transactions and positive outcomes. Unfortunately, in rare cases where returned items do not match what was sent, we must act in accordance with policy.

I purchased a pair of apparently high…

I purchased a pair of apparently high end HOKA trainers £152.00 for street walking 30mins a night for some light exercise. The trainers arrived promptly and are comfortable however six months on and the trainers have started falling apart holes on the inside splits on the side of the trainers and the tread is literally falling away on every walk? I contacted legend footwear and they’ve told me this is normal wear and tear. What a joke do not buy these trainers they are complete rubbish. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I won’t be wasting my money with this company anymore!

We would like to clarify that this order was placed in November 2024, and the issue was brought to our attention in June 2025—over six months after the purchase. Upon reviewing the shoes and consulting both our internal team and the brand, it was confirmed that the condition of the footwear reflects heavy usage and normal wear and tear, rather than a manufacturing defect.

Footwear that is used regularly, even for light exercise, can show signs of wear over time depending on usage habits, terrain, and storage conditions. If the product had been defective, issues would likely have become apparent much earlier on. As per standard policy and brand guidelines, we're unable to accept returns or replacements for items that are significantly worn or damaged due to extended use.

That said, we genuinely regret that this product didn’t meet your expectations. We always aim to provide quality products and service.
