As usual,(on our 27th Leger trip) the booking arrangements and logistics for the journey worked perfectly, even down to minimal traffic on the M25. The crew, Matt and Dan, were very professional and m... See more

Great locations and places that were on my tick list.
Great locations and places that were on my tick list can be ticked! However, there will be future visits to these favourites I hope. Great service from Leger and their drivers. All hotels were comfortable and friendly.
A wonderful few days
A wonderful few days. Rich & Marcus looked after us, the weather gods smiled, a spectacular trip.
Disappointing organisation by Leger. Versaille & Monet's Garden..
Versailles Gardens apparently only have the fountain shows at weekends so the Tuesday visit was disappointing, we had 6 hours to wander the gardens and only saw non working fountains in a garden designed to feature spectacular water fountain displays, perhaps the booking details should say the fountains won't be working. On booking the advice was not to prebook tickets to tour inside the palace, on arrival palace tickets were available by queuing for around 3 hours or via a guide company for 3 times the price of entry. Monet's Garden was a 2 hour 15 minutes visit changed to afternoon instead of the advertised morning visit, meaning the afternoon and evening free time in Rouen to rest/explore was moved to a couple of hours in the morning with no time to enjoy the old town, the museums and shops didn't open until 10am, cafes were open but we had just had breakfast, and had to be at the coach for 12.15 so had to head back at 11.30, no time for lunch or museums/galleries. The tickets for Monets Garden weren't booked and paid, resulting in around a 15/20 minute wait outside until tickets were purchased, we queued 45 minutes to get in the house to be carried through in a stream of visitors, unable to enjoy the many paintings and were in and out in around 5 minutes, with no time to experience the absolutely stunning flower garden apart from what could be seen from the queue, because we then had to rush to find the Waterlily Garden and Japanese bridge in order to get back to the coach on time, again disappointing organisation. Some people didn't go on the cheese and calvados excursion on Thursday and chose to explore Rouen instead due to the previous freetime in Rouen being cut short and wanting to see the Monet paintings in the gallery there. Rouen is lovely. The hotel was basic, very clean, but has no restaurant for evening meals, only microwaved pizzas, and no kettles in the rooms. Breakfast was good, mainly continental with added scrambled egg and sausages. All staff on coaches and in the hotel were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nice little supermarket just around the corner with a good variety of sandwiches, salads, fresh bread, fruit and a hot cabinet with pizzas, quiches etc. Could have been a great trip with better timings and ticket organisation for visits, and the Luxuria coach is needed for the full 16/18 hour journeys to and from destination, not just from Folkestone to Rouen and the short excursion travel times, paying extra for comfort for a short time is pointless when around 2/3rds of the travel isn't on Luxuria.

Lovely trip to the Dutch bulb fields
Lovely trip to the Dutch bulb fields. The trips are well organised. Rachel and Shaun went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. Rachel was an excellent host. I’ve never been offered so many drinks!! Would recommend these two coach drivers if you have a choice.
Impressed by Leger…
I was impressed with the organisation of my trip. Everything Leger did was excellent. A delay home caused by traffic at calais was the only problem but that was out of Legers control. Richard and Marcus are a good team, they are considerate, gave clear information and looked after passengers well
First leger tour very impressed
First time with Leger and very impressed with the way they work so can't fault them. I booked another tour as soon as I got back.
Great trip to the dutch bulbfields
Great trip to the dutch bulbfields. Paul and Marc our drivers were excellent, very informative and knowledgable. Delph was beautiful and would have liked to spend more time there. Overall a very enjoyable trip which was good value for money.

I am due to travel to Italy with Legers.I have asked them a number of times the name and location of the hotel for the first night. They have ignored my emails.Furthermore they do not show that breakfast is included at the first hotel.
They also add that there maybe a wait before a transfer coach arrives.A particular concern is any delay in the return journey.
I will complain to ABTA if no reply is received

Interesting tour
Interesting tour, guide was knowledgable. Drivers were friendly and helpful. Hotel was fine, bar area was a little small to cope with a full coach all at once but OK. We ate at Bastogne on 1 night which was a nice change from the hotel.
Standing at the ice arena in Hull at 3am was not pleasant, cold and lonely. Coming home the driver on the last leg clearly had better things to do, abrupt and drove very fast.
Reflections on Monet's Garden
Reflections on Monet's Garden, Versailles Lisieux with Calvados and Camembert. Monday 6th April 2026 – Friday 10th April 2026 Leger Holidays
A good holiday, although early in the year we had bright blue skies Day 2 & 3, Day 4 a bit cloudier. Brilliant for early April.
As with every Leger Holiday I’ve done have good walking shoes – cobbles, gravel, slopes etc.
Group of 31 – a mixture of couples, friends, family members and singles. We all we part of a large group, never worry about travelling on your own.
Itinerary
Day 2 Versailles, Leger advise you not to book tickets for the Palace until you have confirmed the day of the visit, which was on Day Oney. On the official app when I looked the only tickets available were 9.30 and 15.30, no good. A few had taken a punt and booked at home or got a more expensive package while on the coach. As the weather was good, I was happy with the gardens. No maps given, there were some maps arounds the grounds and information boards. My guide book did have a 2-page map. There is the hop on hop off land train for €9. Accept like any establishment there are going to be works going on. They were reasonably priced food outlets by the Grand Canal and off the Royal Avenue- the Buvette du Dauphin. Also there were various people making fresh orange juice.
Day 3 Giverny and Rouen. Monet's Garden this early in the season I didn't know what to expect. AMAZING. Timed tickets had been booked for 10.00. As it turned out definitely worth the early start when you saw how busy it got. No maps, scan code for map, for me it didn't work but looking at the plans around not much information anyway. First the water lily pond garden, then moved to the other garden. When I got near the house, I realised the queue was only about 15 people so I joined it. I was in quickly; you need to be able to climb steps and stairs. By the time I went to leave the gardens about 90 minutes later the queue for the house was winding all-round the top of the gardens. My tip - join the queue as some as you move into this garden. After leaving the Garden plenty of eating options.
We went back to Rouen by a more scenic route. Coach was available at 15.45 to take people as far as they could go into Rouen centre, and then pick up 2 hours later. Ian had also done a dummy run the previous evening on the buses that run every 4 minutes the night before. Rouen is a vibrant place, could spend a whole day exploring.
Day 4 Lisieux, Cheese and Calvados. The second busiest pilgrimage site in France after Lourdes, not for us. It's Easter Week but it was nice and quiet- a total contrast to Montserrat in Spain that I visited last April, coach parked in centre we walked up the hill to the Basilica. Awe inspiring, we'd seen it at a distance. 80% of the town was bombed in 1944, so much rebuilt after that with wide streets. We then headed into the rolling Normandy countryside. First to Camembert, which turned out to be a hamlet including cheese tasting. Deeper into the countryside to La Galotiere for cider, poire and calvados production and tasting. Not forgetting the golden retriever welcoming us.
The Hotel - Hotel B&B Rouen centre. As said it was Bed & Breakfast. Now cycle paths and low barriers outside the hotel so can't park. Coach had to do a loop round and we brought our suitcases about 150 yards. Room on fifth floor, up in the gods but not a penthouse room. It's got everything necessary. Bed was comfortable, as in most European hotels no kettles etc. Could have done with more lighting. Breakfast good variety, with constant refilling of items. Just round the corner from hotel opposite the University is a road with several pizza/pasta outlets. Also you could walk into the very vibrant Rouen. I was to Carrefour City where they had a self-service salad bowl bar -for me more than adequate. Every day there were lunchtime options. I had done my research so I knew what to expect, it was better than some reviews.
I've travelled with several North Wales teams; this week it was Ian and Pete from Watts Coaches in the Vale of Glamorgan. A special shout out to our "chauffeur" Pete it was only his second time driving in mainland Europe. As well as being a great driver, a great sense of humour. He has particularly caring in helping a less mobile lady getting on and off the coach.
Great trip, great travelling companions, hope to see you again but also good to be home
Versaille trips do not include Palace
Advertised Versaille coach trips do not include Palace only garden. In early April queues over 90 minutes long outside, rain or shine. You will not gain entry unless you are prepared for this. We are arthritic pensioners no chance! The company does not make this clear. So disappointed after making the effort to get there.

Very enjoyable long weekend with Ledger Holidays
I have had a very enjoyable long weekend in the Paris area of France, visiting Monets Garden and Versailles with Ledger Holidays, the hotel was perfect, lovely location, ambience and the room was very nice. Our tour guide Colin went out of his way to help make the weekend enjoyable.
Not enough comfort breaks
We had a most enjoyable trip on the whole
The journey was very long with only two stops when in France the first was just a loo break the second only 30mins to get something to eat. There was not enough comfort breaks. The ship, the food, were amazing.
The hotel was very mediocre
The hotel was very mediocre. No change of sheets or towels for 6 days. Instant coffee machine. WiFi from the last century

Coach trip rather than a cruise to see the tulips
Tulips were amazing and gardens beautiful. BUT...
Too much time on the coach.
Too early a start and very late finish on both outward and Homeward trips on coach.
Only one hour awake while boat cruising and
9 hours while we were all asleep.
Food could do with two more choices at main meal times one meat and one veggie option is very limiting.
All the staff on coaches, at the hub in Folkestone and on the boat were excellent and friendly.
Cabin met our needs and was cleaned daily.
Will not be doing such a long coach trip in future.
This was our first one as newly retired people and found it too much sitting for our bodies.
Overall we both enjoyed our river cruise but would have like more day time cruising.

Interesting and many boxes ticked from my bucket list.
Fast paced, as expected, but saw a lot and very enjoyable. More comfortable coach ride (Luxuria), although I am short, so the seats were not so for me and had to keep changing position). A couple of let downs with amenities (bar or restaurant) at hotels but these were noted and apologised for (not Titan's fault). I go on my own but never feel 'on my own' .
Helpful staff
Keeley was very helpful and thorough when taking my booking and also providing full details of my holiday.
My first solo holiday
My first solo holiday, it was wonderful, mixture of ages on the coach ,but we all got on well and made friends ,the day trips were long but well worth it with lovely scenery and a good variety of excursions. Tom and Paris were excellent drivers, and kept an immaculate coach, plenty of drinks and entertainment while travelling. At the age of 92 ,I was apprehensive about doing this trip ,but I really enjoyed it and was so well looked after by everyone . The hotel was very good too ,thank you Leger ,
Great trip
Great trip, Ian the battlefield guide had great knowledge and brought it all alive. Mark & Graham our drivers did a great job of getting us everywhere we needed to be and made sure we never went thirsty.
