Leicester Psychology Clinic have provided a very good service at a competitive price. They understood our concerns and guided us with super professionalism. We cannot thank Sue Edwards, Dr Simeon Hanson and Dr Samantha Lewis and the rest of the team enough. They were all incredibly kind and listened. They really took time to understand our adult son's needs in terms of diagnostic assessment for autism and they all went above and beyond.

My son had debilitating needle phobia, and just couldn’t have his immunisations due to high distress. We went to Amanda for EMDR therapy. After some months, my son began to say things like “I feel like a changed person” and amazingly, a few weeks ago he managed to have all 3 of his immunisations that he had got behind on, in one go, with absolutely no upset at all. He was thrilled, we all were. Amanda was absolutely wonderful right from the start, she made my son feel really comfortable and straightaway developed a fantastic rapport with him. I would always recommended her for working with teenagers, she really gets to understand them and the EMDR was like a miracle!

Having been on NHS waiting lists for three years (and with no end in sight), we made the incredibly difficult decision to go down the route of private diagnosis.
The process of choosing a provider was difficult as there were so many options out there - but what lead us towards Leicester Psychology Clinic was their more personal response in comparison to others. We wanted a provider who was genuinely interested in our daughter as an individual and we felt we were getting that.
The process itself was clear, swift and well-communicated. A range of professionals at the clinic all dealt with our daughter compassionately and effectively in a way that both she and we understood. It helps as well that the clinic is in a lovely part of the city so we were able to use the time before and after appointments as one to one bonding time with our daughter away from our other children. Lunches, hot drinks, etc. It made going to the appointments a pleasant experience.
At the end of the process, the outcomes were really clearly explained to us via an hour long meeting followed by a comprehensive report.
Would definitely recommend this clinic to make what is a huge decision and a daunting process much more bearable.

I am very impressed and very happy with the service provided by the Leicester Psychology Clinic.
I was looking for someone who could give my Mum an assessment for possible dementia/memory loss, and from my initial contact with the Leicester Psychology Clinic, I was confident that they would be able to provide the level of quality and care that I was looking for. They advised on who would be an appropriate and skilled member of their team to undertake this assessment, and were really flexible around the appointment date.
The actual assessment was undertaken with a high level of thoughtfulness, generosity and care for Mum, and I was able to sit in and support Mum as needed. The report that we have received on Mum’s assessment is incredibly detailed, offering really helpful conclusions and recommendations about what we could now do moving forwards. We were offered an opportunity to follow up with the psychologist, should we need it.
Everything about this experience, from the first point of contact to receiving the report has been at an excellent standard. All communication with the team at the Leicester Psychology Clinic. has been really helpful, and easy, and they could not do enough to support and make this experience as stress free as possible for Mum and I.
The environment is lovely, in a beautiful house in a picturesque part of Leicester City, and everything about the appointment felt very welcoming and supportive.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Leicester Psychology Clinic and am 100% happy with their service.

I used the clinic for my 12 year old daughter who has since recieved an Autism diagnosis. It's been a positive experience from start to finish. The communication, professionalism and level of kindness and care has been exceptional. Face to face appointments and a very detailed report reassure me that her assessment has been thoroughly carried out by experienced and knowledgeable professionals. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for support and advice, especially for high masking, girls.

Our Educational Psychologist was very professional and experienced. We felt reassured and he was happy to attend meetings with the local authority and provided support and advice wherever he could.
He visited our son at school and met with his teacher.
His report was very comprehensive.
I would recommend using this service.

This place is brilliant! We’ve had such a positive experience here. Both my children have been assessed by Dr Vicki Edwards and now school have finally sat up and listened. The sensory assessment they received was excellent too. The assessments were very detailed and insightful and recommended the next steps. I’m now having my own therapy sessions though the clinic which is proving invaluable ( through Bupa). Thanks again for your help and on going support.

From start to finish, we could not have been more impressed or satisfied with the service we received from Leicester Psychology Clinic. From our very first phone call with Rebecca who was incredibly helpful to meeting Laura for the first time who put us all at ease as we were a little nervous as to what to expect. Our daughter really warmed to Laura and she felt comfortable in her presence which means a lot to us all as a family. Katie was also incredibly supportive and made our daughter feel comfortable in all assessments with her. It was so refreshing as a family to be heard and feel seen by Laura and Katie. Thank you so much to the clinic for everything. We will always speak highly of your company and recommend you to all.

I’ve been doing CBT therapy for about a year now, and it’s honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. When I first started, I was struggling with anxious thoughts and emotional dysregulation due to my ADHD. Over time, my therapist helped me understand how my thoughts were affecting the way I felt and acted — and more importantly, how to change them.
Each session has felt supportive and practical, never judgmental. I’ve learned tools I actually use day-to-day, and I can really see how much progress I’ve made in managing stress, communicating better, and being kinder to myself.
I would highly recommend Leicester Psychology Clinic for anyone looking for a similar service. The clinic is warm and welcoming and the admin staff are approachable and friendly. Even the Clinic Manager chatted to me whist I was in the waiting room.

My daughter has recently been assessed for ADHD. Both professionals that saw my daughter were excellent. My daughter was at ease in the environment and felt comfortable enough to talk freely. Becky who made the final assessment called me with the outcome, discussed the whole process, diagnosis and next steps.

LPC have been absolutely amazing. I brought my son for adhd assessments and have surpassed my expectations. The way the report was written was with such care, as a parent I really appreciate it. Often adhd is shown as a bad thing but Beckie made the report to the point but in the best way possible. I am so grateful for everything and I would recommend to anyone to come here. Hope to take up some of their recommendations in the future.
