We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we apologise for the disappointment regarding the price changes and the size variation of the briquettes.
Regarding the price increase, unfortunately, this is due to rising costs at every stage of the supply chain, from forestry and manufacturing to warehousing and distribution.
However, to help you save, we recommend signing up for our mailing list to receive special offers and discounts. You can also join our rewards programme on our website, where you can earn points and exchange them for coupons.
Regarding the briquette size, our night briquettes are made from 100% pure pine and spruce bark. As bark fractions can vary, the dimensions of individual briquettes may differ. However, the total weight of each package will always be 20kg. To ensure the correct total weight, different-sized briquettes may sometimes be mixed together in one pack.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

The briquettes arrived the day after ordering them? I’ve been using the night briquettes for a number of years now, I have a small 5kw multi fuel stove, I put one briquette on at approximately 10 pm at night and am still able to start the fire from the embers at around 7.30 am

Order 1521202
Order 1521202. This was delivered last week but a box of firelighters was missing from the order. I sent an email and one of your service advisors pointed out this box was on the top of my pallet from the photo the delivery driver took. This box is clearly a fire log box and there were no firelighters on the pallet. Surely your staff can differentiate between which box is which product.

Upon checking the tracking information, we can see that the proof of delivery photo appears to show two boxes stacked on top of the pallet: the smaller box at the front looks like the Natural Firelighters box, with the Fire logs box behind it.
We will contact the Palletways company to investigate this matter and will get back to you as soon as possible with an update.
